went in there for pedicure, expecting spot service, i paid for spot service, but got absolutely nothing of what I paid for. they didn't clean my toenails. Neither did they clean my daughter's toenails. i asked my toenails not to be cut and they cut my toenails anyways. they did not give me a French after I asked for French if they didn't know how to do French they should not be saying that they could do a French. overall spent almost $200 on getting two pedicures and they were not done correctly nor my feet was clean, and it was looking very unsanitary. I'm currently sitting in my car right after my amazing pedicure writing this review. I found this place on Yelp and have passed by it before, but was put off by the reviews. I figured I'd give Nails By Lisa a shot, and thank goodness I did. One of the best pedicures I've had in a long time. My nail tech took her time and did not rush. I called 15 minutes before and they were very accommodating I didn't have to wait at all. They also take your temp at the door and have hand sanitizer and glass in between you, the nail tech, and the person next to you. Love this place and will definitely be back! read more

I've never written a review on a nail salon before....and I've gotten mani pedis monthly for 20+ years....but I'm compelled to today. Nails by Lisa is great- good, clean, comfortable. I kept coming back. I always expected a good mani pedi and my expectations were always met. However, I just had a life changing pedicure. Jin Hee was absolutely amazing. I left (after a regular pedicure) feeling like gumby!!!! My toenails were cut and filed to perfection (and I'm never satisfied). Polish was perfect. And I have no words for the massage. I turned off the massage chair because heaven was touching my feet. I had to buy stamps at the post office afterwards. I bought stamps and forgot them. I had to go back to get them. And I blame Jin hee for that. I can't wait til I see you again!!! read more

This place is not good. They charge you 60$ for a spa pedicure but they don't cut your nails correctly or even clean cuticles.

I want to day for spa pedicure James usually does my pedicures and I never usually have a problem cuts my toenails and gives a wonderful massage making sure to release pressure on my feet.I go about once every other month this is the only service that I receive from this salon and it's always been very pleasant experience!! read more

The worst manicure I ever received. They ruined my nails. I asked for a manicure with 7 day polish. The woman basically filed off the top layer of my nails for some unknown reason. Threw on the polish that did not dry because she used the wrong polish and the wrong undercoat. I sat for 25 minutes trying to get it to dry, then asked to use the UV lights which helped slightly. Every single nail looks disgusting and by today most of it has peeled off (got the manicure yesterday). I will need to wait weeks now for my nails to repair themselves. One star because they do a good paint job, otherwise I would give zero. I highly recommend anywhere but this salon. I made an appointment for 4 pedicures and had to wait. They started my nails and finished them all within a time span of 5 minutes, literally not exaggerating, before anyone else in my party even had someone tend to them. They had different people swapping throughout my entire parties pedicures, leaving anyone confused whom to tip. They wiped the lotion off after not rubbing anything with a cold wet towel and started laughing that it was cold. A perfect spa pedicure by Nicole. I am hard on my feet between running and heels, I needed the extra attention, not just change color and go. She was great and my toes looked perfect for the July 4th party. Lisa was working shoulder to shoulder with her team and I was impressed that when she was finished with her customer, she came and talked to those of us who were drying and checked the work of her staff. I came in and asked for a gel MANICURE. The tech filed my nails, buffered them, then began to apply the base coat. I stopped and informed her I asked for a gel MANICURE, another tech responded yes gel manicure. I told her this is a polish change not a manicure and that it shouldn't be priced the same. She went on about how they are the same thing. If i wasn't in a rush I would have asked her to start over. Now, where to start. I came here with three other people. I am going to talk about my experience first. James did my nails and I noticed he pulled his tools out of a case & didn't look like it was sanitized. He never pushed my cuticles back, he just started clipping them which cause me to bleed in three different places. He charged me 15 but I noticed on the price board it was 12 for an manicure . My cuticles look terrible & we are expected to be at a wedding tomorrow. Second, my mother in law had a gift certificate WITH a receipt of purchase & they wouldn't honor it bc it was expired but THERE WASN'T AN EXPIRATION DATE ANYWHERE. She was rude about it & unprofessional !!!!! Don't give this lady your business! I will never be back and hoping she is reported. read more

I have been there twice and have not been impressed either time. I am used to getting my powder gel at a North Jersey Nail Salon where the technicians are much better and it is less expensive. What I didn't like most was the blatant lack of sanitary instruments. I kid you not, my technician asked the technician next to her for the utensil that she was using on her client. She handed it to my technician who went to work on me without any disinfecting. The client next to me and I looked at each other and said "Yuck." I don't see things being sterilized anywhere. The owner came over and raised her voice and said that they do gel for $45...then reduced the price to $35. I have been coming to Nails By Lisa for a few months now. Today had to be the worst experience I have ever had. I walked in I asked for a powder gel manicure. One of the girls (a big girl with white blondish hair) told me to have a seat at her table. I sat down , then she asked me to move to smithed station. Which I did. She started to file down my nails then the phone rang two times which she got up to answer.Fine I understand she has to get the phone not a problem. She looked completely annoyed. Then she got up without saying anything and left. I had no idea where she went. Then Tatiana came by me because she must've seen my face and said are you OK. I said no I don't know where the girl just went. She then said let me put the foils on your nails to soak them. She started to do it and I said oh the girl never finished filing down my nails. She looked at me and said ugh! She asked me to please wait a minute while she finished her customer and she would come back to me. She had me move chairs. Then again I was told to move my chair. I moved my chair four times. Finally Tatiana took me and did my nails. They were not busy so I don't understand what the heck was going on! Never have I ever had this happen here!
