I found him on Yelp and was cautious about his work since we didn't know anyone that had used his services, but he was kind enough to let us see a custom kitchen he was completing in PV. He did an amazing job on that home, and that convinced us to move forward with him. Israel is an expert in his field and took the time to accurately measure and draw out the plans for our custom kitchen until we gave our approval. He was patient and worked with our budget. He and his team produced a high-quality job at a great and competitive pricing. He stayed on schedule and completed the job according to his contract. He was patient with me on the paint colors for the two tones that were used, and let me see various samples. We loved his work so much he also did our walk-in closet and master bathroom vanity. Our general contractor also complemented his work and said it was a top quality job and he does luxury homes. I would definitely work with him again and will recommend him to friends and family.

What mattered to us was that Israel and his team consistently tried to work through concerns, accommodate requests, and make things right when issues came up. One thing I especially appreciated was the patience from the team during the finishing stage. They were willing to listen, adjust details, and help troubleshoot things. The team handled everything professionally and efficiently. One of the most impressive parts was watching them use straps to safely lower our bed frame down to the first floor--they made a difficult task look easy. They came fully prepared with all the necessary moving supplies, including wardrobe boxes, and even provided protective materials for our delicate tiles, making sure everything was properly covered and protected. Throughout the entire process, Mike was very professional and the level of expertise he exhibited was obvious. Before Mike, I had met with 3 other contractors to compare services and quotes but what sealed the deal for me was the 3D render service Mike offered. It was affordable and it would be free if you end up going with MDM for your remodel. Mike was able to get the renderings to me very quickly and made adjustments whenever we wanted to change something. Seeing the details of the renderings really brought what we were envisioning to life and helped with the design process. Fast forward to beginning of demo/construction, Mike's employees were impressively fast and efficient at their jobs, but what really impressed me was how clean they kept our property after each day of work. And that stated true throughout the entire process of our 7 month renovation. During construction, if there were any last minute changes, Mike would always try to cater to our needs whenever possible. Even if subcontractors made mistakes with anything, Mike would make sure it is fixed and perfect right away. Keep in mind, you can't rely on Mike for everything (as much as you might want to). You really do have to do your research (in terms of design, finishing materials, sourcing those materials, and getting them delivered on time) and know exactly what you want and how you want it, that way, Mike can plan and put into action what needs to be done. After this entire process, we are extremely happy we got this project completed with MDM. What really sets them apart is the quality of work, dependability, and the great people that work for MDM. Shoutout to Mario! They really respected our home and were very considerate of us during construction. Even after everything was finished, they guaranteed that they would come back and fix anything that needed fixing. Cannot recommend them enough if you want to improve or build your new home!

Having seen what they'd done for other clients, we didn't have much doubt and pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier we did. They put together some renderings for us with measurements and notes, and when a couple of the items weren't quite what we envisioned they immediately changed the renderings to our specs and sent over the new revisions. They really worked with us to ensure that the product we got was the one that would make us happiest. It took about 3 months for us to receive the final product, but once we did it was beautiful, even better than what we'd pictured. It's definitely the centerpiece of our conference room and almost every client remarks on it. I also want to add that only a few weeks in, we had a brief issue where some epoxy fell from a slot in the bottom of the table. It wasn't anything structural, and it happens from time to time so I mostly just wanted to make sure we got it repaired. I called up Graham and he made it happen immediately. Since we're based in San Diego and PW is in LA, he found a solid woodworker down here and arranged for him to come (at cost) and fix it up for us, which made us feel really valued as a customer. Overall, definitely recommend these guys and their product. The next time I need a custom piece, I'll definitely return!
