Came by for a foot massage the other day and it was a decent experience. Called ahead and they were able to accommodate! Parking was available both in their private lot or on the street. $24.99 for a 60-minute foot massage that included a warm foot bath, head and face massage, before moving on to a shoulder and arm massage. The foot massage component was decent and thorough. The later part of the massage included a back massage, while focusing on the shoulders! Credit cards are accepted although there is a surcharge. read more

Royal Foot Spa - Massage Near Me - Cupertino, California

This facility *used* to be good, had respectable masseuse persons, and a welcoming environment. ... Not anymore. Went in earlier this week for a one hour full body. $70 seems average in this area. The person providing the massage was nice at first, and the massage itself was very relaxing (covered all the points as expected). When came time to flip over, I was asked if my "member" wanted to be touched, to which I said no. Got a disappointed response and continued. -- Not what I was there for. At the end, after I got dressed, the masseuse was waiting right outside my door. Odd that the person couldn't wait in the lobby like other places. No complimentary water or "how was your experience" questionaire given. They looked at me and said "tip?" with their hand out. Gave them $20 (typical amount for a good massage) and was rudely asked "No $20! $30 minimum!" to which I noted it was a fair tip and all I had. The masseuse then said "I massage your whole body! This is nothing!" and softly punched me in the stomach, walked away, and slammed the door in my face. Lobby desk lady saw everything, and simply said "thank you for coming" as I walked out. They clearly are here to provide "extras", and think their attitude is acceptable when their paterons tell them no. -- Other reviews on here and some search sites show similar reviews. If you want "extras", this is the place. -- If you want a legit massage with respect and gratitude, don't even bother. Very disappointed. 1-star at best. read more

I have been using Royal Foot massage for few months.I have had the best experience with Helen and her place. She is extremely professional and skillful in relieving body aches and pain.I hike regularly so my feet specifically sciatic nerve in the pelvic and calves get complete relief from her extra attention and effort.I also have neck and shoulder treatment which feels like aligned and healed after her special hand and elbow coordinated massage. She also has a very clean place and she is a very happy character with upbeat attitude which cheers me up.Their rates are reasonable and worth every penny.I highly recommend Helen of Royal Foot massage and spa. read more

The hubs and I stopped here for date night last night just for a 30 minute foot massage. Very nice customer service. Wish we did an hour instead of 30 minutes. Very good and felt relaxed. Thank you ladies! read more

Update: Frank is no longer here. But everyone is very good! I still tip about $20-$30 depending on which service it is. I also see how hard the massage therapists work. I do hair so I get how it is dealing with clients, sometimes it sucks, because the clients aren't nice. Sometimes the clients don't tip well. Also remember people it's the holidays don't be cheap. I wish sometimes their manager would speak to the staff with a kinder tone. Always remember: Happy employees, means happy clients. I also wonder what happen to the curtains? Older review: Frank is back! Thank God! No more massage envy for me! I haven't gotten massages for 6 months glad I came back to this shop though! 90mins = $30 and added. $30 tip. $60 total well spent! read more

3.5 stars for a decent foot massage ($40 for 60 min) - masseusse was not strong and was visibly (and verbally) dissatisfied with the $10 tip I left which I believe is standard and more than 20%! read more

Have been going here for over 5 for years. Always tip over 30 percent but today, the lady asked me for more tips. It's crazy to me how a $90 massage needs to be more than $40 tip. This place was so convenient for me because it's all female. I am appalled!!! I've Ignore all the Chinese conversations, the loud phone notifications, and watching on their loud phones. Asking for more tips is just so bizarre when you're already giving over 30 percent. read more

Pretty decent massage place! I'd say that if you didn't speak Chinese it's hard to communicate with the workers who almost all exclusively speak Chinese. We got a foot massage, which actually isn't completely a foot massage since you also get other parts of your body massaged in that one hour. We ended up paying $25 for the $20 service and a $5 tip. Remember to pay cash and give the tip to the masseurs that gave you the massage! You can probably fit any group under 7. read more

Royal Foot Spa - Massage Near Me - Cupertino, California

Went here last week, they charged my credit card with a $3 up charge because I didn't pay with cash. The women were speaking very loudly amongst each other. As I was about to pay tip, the woman said you need to pay me minimum $10 now (which would have been 25%)!! It's the minimum. At that point I just left. The actual massage was fine, not great. I asked for the 60 min foot massage which on the menu says some body massage. When I told her which service I wanted she replied there is almost no body massage. Lol I've given 50% tip in the past elsewhere when and if the massage and service was of good quality read more

Should read the reviews before coming to this money hungry place. Was just in for a mediocre 1 hr foot massage. The lady who did my massage had a nasty attitude in the first place, I quietly asked her to sit my chair up and she rudely got snarky at me. Raised my chair up super fast with an attitude. The massage lasted the right amount of time and but the massage lady pretty much won't let me go unless I gave at least a 30% tips. I had no problem with doing that in the first place, but she just had to say it in such a nasty way... I honestly just want to tell her, your massage WASN'T EVEN GOOD.. Whatevers, I gave them what they wanted and informed them to post that new "rule" somewhere before tricking customers into the back. Nevertheless, not going back ever again read more

Terrible experience here... had some back problems I thought would be sorted out by a good massage, and was greeted by some very odd woman dancing outside the shop. The prices are NOT cheap... $50 for a half-hour, $70 for an hour... and they want cash, which probably means they aren't reporting their earnings. They also add a surcharge on to Credit cards or Debit cards, which from my understanding is illegal and in violation of their agreements with credit card companies, but I decided to let it pass. Already kinda shady, but went ahead anyway because I was in pain. The masseuse was gruff but did speak English and had particularly sharp elbows. She did manage to get some of the spasming muscles to calm down, but I didn't get a full 30 minutes, which is always a sign of a business that is poorly run. As a result, I wasn't going to give a hefty tip, but I did decide 20% would be sufficient ($10). The icing on the cake is when I went to tip her, she looked at the $10 bill like it was infected with Covid, dropped it on the bed and said "$20 -$30 is normal tip. I gave you good massage!" Excuse me? Last time I checked tipping is ENTIRELY DISCRETIONARY and I was totally taken aback by her basically rejecting my $10 tip. I will usually tip $20 or more for an hour massage, but not for 30 minutes, and especially not when the 30 minutes wasn't even 30 minutes! I dropped another $5 bill on the table and left, but what I SHOULD have done is picked up the tip and said that her offensive behavior doesn't deserve ANY tip. To hell with this business... its one thing to cheat me by a five minutes, its another to get all uppity by rejecting my tip. I will NEVER go back, and I suggest you get your healing someplace else. read more

I did my foot massage here today. The masseur wearing rubber glove do my foot massage. Very unprofessional. Since rubber glove does not have friction, the feeling is very bad. When I called the manager make appointment I said I need a experienced masseur. Then they give me the one who can not find any acupoint. I think the manager did find the best masseur in this store. The massage process is very uncomfortable! Don't come here! Awful! read more

Royal Foot Spa - wearing rubber gloves do foot massage - Massage Near Me - Cupertino, California

I have been to this spa several times and never had issues but today was a very bad experience. At the front desk it was not the usual owner who I used to meet, but someone else who had a PISSED OFF expression at the first look itself. I requested one hour foot massage and she sternly and rudely said NOO, i could see empty beds and I thought she didn't understand what I meant so I mentioned again, after that for 5 minutes was the most awkwardest reception I have ever experienced. She came very near me and kept staring at my eyes angrily. I politely asked "what's the issue", she just kept throwing her pissed off expression at me which was extremely scary for a customer in that pin drop silence. The way she kept coming close it was a hint for me to get out asap. It was extremely eerie and awkward so I just stepped out because it felt like she would hit me if I didn't. She still walked out with me as I mentioned that atleast say something as to why no, and she just kept staring at me angrily till I got into the car. I have NOOO idea why she behaved so badly to a customer when nothing but "one hour foot massage" was communicated from my side. The owner knows me by face that I have never been rude to them in so many years. I will never visit this spa again. It makes me wonder was it RACIST ? There are many spa folks who don't know English but still manage politely with actions and smile about why it's not possible. There is NO excuse for this behavior. Came here last friday and got their 90 minute massage. It included a 30 minute body massage and an hour of foot massage. When I arrived, two of the workers were outside waiting. One of them ended up being my masseuse. I regret not asking what her name is, but she had short curly hair and was really nice. I was the only one there around 5:30 pm, so most of the workers were just sitting around and talking. The reason why I gave them 4 stars is because the workers either don't care/aren't aware that their talking and laughing disturbs the customers getting massaged. For the first 30 minutes, It was constant chatter and my worker had to remind them that I was getting massaged. It was a bit annoying since I had a stressful day and just wanted to chill and take a nap. However, after 6 pm, it got more and more busy and I was able to relax. read more

The two ladies my fiancé and I had work on our sore muscles tonight were amazing. Not sure what their names were but they put that elbow grease in tonight. WE paid $37.99 for 90 minutes and it was amazing. They have a lot of different packages to choose from that are budget friendly. There were quite a few people coming in and out. It is a small place, one of those hole in the walls. The perfect spot to get great service in a cozy environment. read more

I chose this place due to the distance of my house and yelp reviews. The employees are nice but my massage didn't feel very relaxing or very comfortable. I'm fine with people talking in the background because I'm use to that type of behavior. I asked for the one hour foot massage and it felt like more of a backrub than a massage and that it concentrated more on my back (80%) than my feet (20%). I appreciate the person trying to rub out my back knots but I was hoping for more of a foot massage. There is a private lot and the entrance is in the back. I may try this place again.... maybe but most unlikely. There are other spas around the area with the same price range read more

The massage itself was very good for what you are paying! Even though your clothes are on, you still get a good deep massage that loosens knots. My only disappointment was that the employees were talking loudly in Chinese for the first 15 minutes of my massage. It was very rude and I was not able to relax at all. I would have given this place a solid five, but it's just not cool to disturb your customers! read more

I went here for a massage after being in pain all weekend. I thought these foot spa places seemed a bit sketchy but I figured it was worth a try as options were limited on a Sunday night. I called to get information about the services and the woman on the phone was friendly, informative and inviting. I was incredibly pleasantly surprised by my experience! I had a 90 minute combo massage, which was $56. It included a 45 minute foot massage with a 45 minute body massage. The foot massage portion is offered in their main room, which is open to other guests but they create a private space by using curtains to separate the customers. That type of space is a lot more causal than other places I've been for massages but that was a worthwhile trade off for the price and the quality of the massage. During the foot massage portion, my feet were soaked in warm water, which smelled like it had some essential oils in it but I'm not sure. While my feet soaked, the massage therapist, Sophia, massaged my upper body. She then massages my feet and legs. For the body massage, I was moved to a private room. Sophia was amazing and I highly recommend her. She adjusted the pressure to my satisfaction and put in some hard work! She was petite and I like deep pressure and I could tell she really put in the effort to deliver a great experience. I will definitely be back! read more

The massage is decent for a foot massage place but I always leave a generous tip of 25% and this last time the lady said it wasn't enough and kind of made me feel bad and said 30% tip is required with each service. I personally would rather have a higher price ticket rather than a higher percent tip required. I work in the service industry and when or if someone leaves me a tip, I am grateful. Also there is no signage that this 30% tip is required. read more

I had some hesitations about this place but decided to make the jump after Yelp reviews (of course!). Entry: When I entered, I was greeted by an older woman who seemed puzzled that I was there (I was the only person at around 5:30 PM on a weekday). I told her I wanted a half hour foot massage for $15. She seemed to press me for an hour but I insisted that 30 minutes was fine. She led me into the main room which was dark and lined with a few padded chairs separated by curtains. The first thing that I noticed was the decor. Mind you, I grew up in an Asian household so I am familiar with all the Asian gaud so I definitely felt at home. There were even plastic carnations placed on each towel on the chairs (so romantic!). There is a wall clock above each chair, probably a dozen in all, which created a strangely calming tick-tick-tick-ticking sound all together. The woman placed all of my belongings in a plastic bin and had me place my feet in a tub of hot water for a soak. I laid back and waited for my masseuse, noticing an older Asian man walking around, looking bored. When the masseuse came after about 5 minutes, she spoke to me in Chinese - not just "hello" but full on questions. It was clear she didn't speak a lick of English but we made it work and she was very friendly. She almost started rubbing my head when the first woman reminded her I only wanted a foot massage. The massage: the woman put on plastic gloves and started smearing cream on my feet and lightly rubbing the cream. I was trying to figure out if this was the massage when I heard a man walk through the front door and my masseuse greeted him (while she's rubbing my feet). The man also not knowing Chinese seems confused and asks for a foot massage. After a few moments of confusion, the first woman appears and says they can do a foot massage and points to the older Asian man, "He can do your feet!" I hear hesitation from the customer, and he asks if there are any women available to do the massage. Long story short, they get my masseuse to trade and take on the new customer and the older man sat down to finish my massage. Unlike the woman, he used what seemed like skilled reflexology technique with strong and precise movements. I entered a sleepy state of ecstasy. He hit all the right points and ended the foot massage with a quick leg massage. I felt bad because I was wearing skinny jeans and he had issues pulling up my leg pants high enough to work. To the guy who didn't want another man rubbing his feet - you missed out on the best foot massage ever. Point - foot massage people, ask for the older man, unfortunately, I didn't get his name. They are also fine with you leaving your tip on your credit/debit card and you pay after the massage. Started off as a weird experience but the massage itself was worth it. I called ahead around 2pm to schedule a 6pm appointment and they agreed, but when I got there at 5:55 pm ( I like to check in at least 5 min before) they were confused and asked if I had called before (clearly did not even take my name down when I gave it to them over the phone). I had to come back in 10 min, which I was initially fine with. I came back at 6:05 and they made me wait even longer. It wasn't until 6:18 that someone finally came to me and started my massage. They also had their phones on loud and I could hear the loud ringing; at one point they stopped my massage to answer their call. They also force you to tip, I initially tipped 15% because of the unprofessional behavior but the lady rudely told me it has to be 30%. I don't appreciate being forced to tip, especially if the service was unprofessional and the behavior was rude, which is what tip should be based on. read more

Very bad experience. The massage was mediocre at best. The masseuse didn't have that much strength and kept pressing on my shoulder blades instead of muscles causing pain. When paying, there is a 3$ charge on credit card usage so I opted to use zelle. The lady still ended up charging us 3$ for both the payment and the tip. We paid 6$ extra. When I under-paid the expected tip, she chased after me out the door asking for $9 more tip. The whole experience was ruined by the payment lady. read more

It's really hard for me to choose a massage place to go to. I'm always cautious and since I'm a massage therapist my self I'm always very picky. Since i never know who I'm going to get when I go into a foot massage place I always take a chance on the massage therapist I get. I am sooo happy I took a chance and went yesterday. My back was sore and I told the therapist before I went in to please be careful. Even though he didn't speak English well. He seemed to understand. Okay great! I got a 90min combo. $45 + 30% tip. Two starts for the foot part. Zero for the body part. I am really sure the masseur is unprofessional, which I mean is really bad. If you just want to pay $20 for fun, I think it is ok. Never coming back... read more

Holy crap. I am a foot massage connoisseur and this place totally rocked my socks off. I did a 90 minute message and $30 later, I left feeling amazing. Things to keep in mind when you are booking an amazing massage that costs $30: (1) The location is not ideal. It's a bit tricky to find. (2) English is a second language. The staff does an awesome job navigating this with their signage. You can even pick if you want a male or female therapist. (3) There is limited privacy. I suggest you bring ear buds and an open attitude. Overall, I highly recommend. read more

Worst place ever. This is one of those dark creepy massage places where there is one giant communal room and a few private rooms with doors that close. But most of the "rooms" are manufactured by hanging curtains that don't reach the ground. I came in for a body massage and left with more nerves than when I walked in. The massage was very mediocre- even being in a room with a door, you can still hear all the noises made out by the front desk (like them talking on the phone or men coming and leaving for a service that wasn't on the menu). But even worse was the etiquette: you pre-pay for your service before you start, which is fine. As I was leaving I went to hand my masseur her tip (which was 20%) and she grabs it from my hand and then looks me in the eye as I'm about to keep walking and says "tip is 30%". I was so taken aback and shocked in the moment, instead of telling her "no, it's not up to you actually" I handed her an extra bill (which made it 40%) and she never went to give me the change. I just walked out I was so pissed and made a note to myself to never go back. read more

Very nad experience at Royal Foot Spa today! I would NOT recommend this place! I had the A2 option- 20 min full body massage and 40 min foot massage. I tipped the lady 20% which i thought is a reasonable tip. However the lady thought otherwise getting mad and complaining about the tip, speaking in her native language, showing the tip to my friend that can speak the same language. Then i got mad as well asking to translate what's the problem with the tip. Then the owner or the lady in charge said that the minimum tip is $15, which is 37.5%. I took the 20% back and gave her the 37.5%. It was such a BAD experience, ruined the day and was definitely not relaxing as the massage should be. Horrible customer service experience never ever I had anything like that happened before. So never again at Royal Foot Spa! You better learn how to treat your customers with respect- Royal Foot Spa! I usually go to Happy Feet, but on a Sunday afternoon, they were booked until 7:15 pm. So, after reading some reviews, I decided to give Royal a shot. Their parking lot is crowded, not so much because of them, but rather the cafe next door. They speak very limited English, but the little they know is good enough to get the job done. I think my masseuses alternated, with a woman doing my lower half and a man doing my back--which actually worked out great for me. The price was $20 for an hour foot massage. read more

My husband and I got 60 minute foot massages and we were surprised with how good it was. The ladies that massaged us were very professional and did not talk to each other unlike some of these inexpensive massage places. The decor was basic but this place was dark and relaxing with the fold down beds for the foot massage. The used a good amount of pressure and to be honest was better than some massages I've received from spas that were $100+. We would definitely go back. These ladies do a great job for what you pay. You honestly couldn't ask for a better massage for $25. read more

I had the $20 foot massage here. I've been to 2 dozen foot massage places in the past 2 years, and this is one of the worst-looking massage buildings, 2nd only to the Los Gatos Foot Spa. The massage itself was incredibly lackluster. It was about 75% foot massage. They also only apply body oil only for the full-body massages. The order of massage was a very brief head + arm + chest massage, followed by an incredibly long foot massage, followed by a brief back/neck massage. The head/arm/chest massage lasted probably 5 minutes. It was over before I knew it. The foot massage was very repetitive. My masseuse massaged about 2-3 minutes, and then repeated the same motions about 15 times. I asked for a medium-hard massage, but she gave me a light and lazy massage. I should be thankful it was light because after the 10th repetition, each body part was feeling a little bruised because of the repetition. She also often stopped during the massage and did absolutely nothing (not even applying pressure). The back massage was similar to the foot massage in that the masseuse just repeated the same same motions over and over again. She rolled my trapezius muscles 5 times in the same manner with hard pressure despite that I asked her to massage the neck region lightly. The last part that I disliked was that the room was almost bright enough for a picnic. read more

Great service. Excellent massage! I'd definitely go back. Like most all foot spas, it was dark, but clean and it looked like they have curtains to make your massage more private. If you haven't had a 20$ foot massage, you haven't lived yet. The staff was very kind. read more

I just popped in here last minute because I had a massage scheduled at the Apple Wellness Center but they had a power outage and I really needed to get my back worked on. I called ahead to see if they could take a walk in, and they could. I drove over, was greeted by a nice gentleman, and led to the back. I had an hour long massage in a private room with Suzanne. While the massage was excellent for $40, I tipped her 20%, $8, and she made a face and made me change it to $10, saying that was the minimum tip she accepted. I don't know how I feel about that. I always tip 20% on services based on the original cost, and to be told it isn't enough, or to be kind of embarrassed as if to imply I'm being cheap... I might try a different spot next time. read more

This is a great place for a massage, especially at $20/hour! I got a combo foot/body massage for $35 and plan to be back for sure. It's close to the road so there's some road noise but not too bad. The boyfriend and I wanted to try a new massage place and based on the Yelp reviews here, we decided to try it out. There was only one other person getting her massage when we walked in and waited about 10-15 minutes, despite making an appointment beforehand. The door makes a noise every time you walk in and out. There really isn't that much of a partition between the "reception" area and the massage seats. Thus, if you are sitting in the front row, you will hear 1) every time the door opens and closes, 2) the phone ringing + the person answering the phone talking in a normal/loud voice, and 3) the sunlight whenever the door opens and closes. You know it's bad when the best part of your massage is when you soak your feet in nice hot water. There were times where the woman who was working on me would answer her personal cell phone and talk normally without going to the "reception" area. She would also clean and touch things while my feet soak in hot water, so I hope she washed her hands. I was almost done with my massage when someone FINALLY worked on the boyfriend. Note on her attire: high heels, make up, and a tight outfit... WHILE she's talking to someone else. Talk about professionalism. I whipped out my law book while waiting for my boyfriend's massage to finish, which is about THIRTY minutes after mine ended. In the meantime, the receptionist/my massage lady/apparently the cleaning lady kept offering me candy. One no is enough, right? I've been to other massage places in the San Jose area (offering the same price - $20 for an hour) and this has to be THE WORST. I'd skip this place and go to Happy Feet if you're in the area and you want a quiet atmosphere and a good massage for the same price. read more

After being used to the massages on El Camino (Dynasty and Amazing Food Spa), this place left much to be desired. The lady that massaged me was nice albeit unprofessional but talking throughout the massage and also picking up phone calls. Me and my husband went here in our desperate attempt to use the time we have between our kid goes to bed and we are ready to collapse - witch leaves us a whole hour between 9 and 10 pm, while our free nanny/grandma was still in town. We don't have the luxury of going out very often, and having passive rest for that matter, so going out for a foot massage in the neighborhood seemed like a good idea. And we were not disappointed. The place does not look like the luxurious spa nor it pretenses to do so, but the masseuses made us feel very comfortable and definitely did a very good job. It was a very relaxing and pleasurable experience, lasted an hour and the price of it was pleasantly shocking - $20. A great way to decompress and relax and all for a very fair price. read more
