Really bad customer service. I strongly recommend finding another company as there are plenty…read more I spoke to Peter two weeks prior to when I needed a job done. I asked if he could come by our house anytime that week to give us a quote for two jobs. If the numbers seemed good, we would need the job done by the end of the following week. Peter said this would be no problem and that he would come by the house at the latest by the weekend. Just to be safe, I called on Friday (as he did not come during the week) to confirm that he would be coming on Saturday or Sunday. He asked to text pictures of our patio and said he might be able to come that day but if not to call him Saturday morning (the next day) to confirm a time. As requested I called on Saturday morning. No one picked up so I left a message and never heard back. He never came. He never followed up. We never got a quote or any response after multiple confirmations. Peter even said that they would most likely be able to do the job by the deadline as they weren't very busy that week. This is bad customer service at its finest. Telling a customer you are going to do something and not doing it is what you can expect from this company. I guess they don't want our service/money. Find another company. Don't give bad business owners business.

Based on my experience, I would not hire him again and would not recommend his services.

I was told on Monday that someone would call me 30 minutes before my 9AM appointment on Wednesday. Fast forward to Wednesday at 9:40AM - No one ever showed and when I called I wasn't given any sort of explanation or apology by the receptionist. Just a simple "can we schedule for another time". When I further probed, is when she finally offered some version of an apology and told me she didn't see me on schedule. Why would I want to purchase a high ticket service from a company who can't follow through on simple appointments or offer any sort of decent customer service? Highly disappointed especially given the good reviews and the fact that I stayed home from work for this!!!!

I've never really "hired" a handyman before Jim, but of all of the handymen I've ever dealt…read morewith--Jim is the most clean cut, extremely professional, reliable, and incredibly genuine. Jim's hourly rates are reasonable and he does not overcharge, even if he over/underestimates (especially if a quote is given over the phone without seeing the actual place that needs work done)--his fees are appropriate and completely reasonable. I've just moved into a studio apartment that required a much needed upgrade. I called a bunch of handyman services that I found on Yelp, and Jim was only 1 of 3 that got back to me on the same day. Since he was so friendly and patient with my request, I immediately scheduled an appointment with him. He confirmed our appointment the evening before, arrived on time, and promptly got to work after greeting me. He painted my kitchen, bathroom, and a wall in the living room...and my apartment now looks amazing! He also installed a new showerhead and changed my toilet seat in literally less than 5 minutes. Throughout the day, he was also very conversational and friendly. More importantly, I felt that I could trust him with my apartment and belongings, as I left for a couple of hours while he was still working. Hiring Jim was SO worth it (and I paid out of my own pocket since my landlord was not required to make all of the updates that I wanted to make)...I'm loving my apartment!

Had a problem with a faulty natural gas hot water (50 gallon) that caused a flood in my boiler…read moreroom...called Freddy and he and his helper arrived a couple of hours later with a brand new water heater, we agreed to a (reasonable/fair) price and he proceeded to remove the old defective water heater and install the brand new one. He was efficient and knew his craft, and only took about two hours in total, good time management to be sure. He was COVID-19 compliant and respected all COVID-19 protocols (not that it was a huge deal for me but it might be for some/others). Being that I was a installation tech many years ago for a local contractor I observed good working, repair, and install practices during the job and everything was done correctly. He was surprised that I knew so much about the job and of course I let him know the reason why as I did the exact same work many years ago. Overall, I gave Freddy five stars: He came when he said he would, he did the job correctly, and he did the job at a fair and reasonable price...He beat the competition by several hundred dollars by the way. Lastly, I was so impressed with his work I told him I will hire him for other home improvement projects that I will have in the near future.
