I then proceeded to check out with her hovering over me and holding the candles where I could not look at them and take my time to think if they would match the cake and decorations. When I proceeded to check out, she stared at my wallet as I was searching for the proper card because I did not have any cash on me. As I went to hand her my card, she just stared at it then back at me. I apologized and said how I don't carry cash on me often and she sighed a "hmpf" and snatched my card. I tried to make polite conversation despite feeling awkward and she was very rude saying how it was a pain in her ass to have to run a credit card. I then proceeded to search through my wallet for coins or bills to be able to pay for it and when nothing was able to be found, I received yet another "hmpf" with her slamming the receipt on the counter for me to sign. When I politely signed and apologized again, I took my bag and said have a great day and was responded with "yup, you too". I had arrived to Party Heaven the day before the shower in August to pick up the chair as discussed, and was told that the new fan wicker chair I rented was just rented out to another person. While I was trying to talk with the owner, Colleen, she was blowing me off and answering phone calls'. After several minutes went by, she finally stopped taking phone calls only to offer me a BROKEN and completely PAINT CHIPPED wicker chair that was behind a wall with other broken items, telling me she would give me a "deal" on it. When verbalizing I wanted the new chair that I rented, she told me "both chairs looked like this and she didn't know what to tell me". She was condescending with her stories, before that she was telling me the chair rented out was brand new. She then proceeded to scream at me in the store and point her finger in my face. She then told me I shouldn't be picking it up the day before, which condescended what I was told when booking. Since my party was out of town and I wasn't going to be able to pick it up the next morning, I wanted to pick the chair up later in the day on Saturday once it was returned to Party Heaven. Colleen proceeded to tell me no that her "1000 party (that night) was more important than my $40 chair". I am almost 28, but look very young for my age. Colleen took advantage of that by screaming at me in her store and trying to rent me a broken chair, telling me I was getting a "deal" on it. While delivering party rentals to my next door neighbor, their delivery driver hit my basketball court, knocking it to the ground, shattering the backboard, destroying the rim and hydraulics and exploding the base. The drivers stopped, exited the vehicle, picked the basketball court up, left the broken pieces on the ground and drove away. We have video and photos of the entire incident which have been shared with the company and its owner. They have not taken a single step in the right direction and nothing has been done to rectify several hundred dollars in property damage. A complaint has been filed with our local police department, which they have not responded to. Charges are pending in civil court. This is not how reputable companies do business. Not only is it morally reprehensible, it is illegal.

For an upcoming event, Mike came out to the site, measured all the rooms and is in the process of entering the info into a program that creates a basic blueprint of the venue. He's figuring out where all the tables are to be situated, he's helped me visualize where the vendors should go, and even offered to deliver and pick up the tables, chairs, linens, and other rental stuff during non-business hours. I spent the night prior to my wedding polishing them and they only offered to take $30 off my bill When they say no refund, they mean it. I explained this to Michelle and she refused to refund my down payment. Whereas, another vendor did so, without a problem.
