I usually order the fried chicken combo here. i like the quality and flavor of the chicken. the sides are different from other fast food and I like that change of pace. mashed potatoes with gravey, cole slaw, real onion rings and most recently hushpuppies. I used to look forward to lent when they would offer fried fish and chips. In the past they were really good. but this last time while the pieces were nice and large, the coating was terrible. not fully cooked? different recipe? All I know was the beer batter coating was thick and gummy... dense. Not at all appealing. not sure i will order it again soon. read more

Food was wonderful staff were great brought our food to our table which was unexpected but very nice. Needed to be cleaned tables had food on them from other people. I think they just didnt have the staff to do it since the really nice lady who rang up our order and brought out our food also did the cleaning. read more

Stopped by Sunday morning , upon getting my drink noticed black slimy (guessing mold) on the lemonade dispenser, notified manager she came out and actually looked at it and said " we clean it on Monday" then went back behind counter. I originally thought the push bar had been welded due to the color, as I touched it realized it was slimy mold. They had not a care in the world about it , we clean it Mondays. I ordered through their mobile app like I have done on many other occasions and when I went to pick my food up I was told somebody had already took it. I showed the manager my receipt but she was rude and dismissive. Telling me that I would need to cancel the order through the app (which cannot been done). She didn't offer me a refund or make me another order. I order from this location twice a week and never had this problem before. read more

The drive thru the way it's set up is ridiculous, and I spent about 20 minutes in line tonight ridiculous slow like I've been in and out of the Mva faster than this drive thru line only 3 cars in front . Now the customer service was nice, I will say that but that damn line you can take a nap, shower, and jog faster than that! read more

Went through the "Drive Through" to get a small Coke (SENIOR) and small fries for a snack for my wife. With 10% off the drink ($1.89) and the fries it came to ~$3.50. Similarly, you buy ANY food item at Wendy's and a senior soft drink is free. We had two large Chili bowls, two Senior Drinks and a baked potato for ~$6.20 and that was a meal for two. I thought Roy Rogers was supposed to be good, but my friend and I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and when we took one bite we were extremely disappointed. The chicken tasted like a cheap chicken patty from my elementary school days. We asked to exchange the chicken sandwich for chicken strips, it's as if they gave me the smallest chicken tenders they could find. My friend exchanged her sandwich for a large shake. We were barely feeling better about the situation and as we were about to leave, the girl at the drive-thru with the terribly filled in eyebrows sarcastically said "Satisfied now?" and that is the reason I am writing this review. Terrible customer service and very disappointing food items especially for the price paid.. Maybe it was so crappy b/c it's in Hagerstown, I should've known better than to stop there. My son & I go to Roy's every time I have to get an oil change in Hagerstown. I feel remiss in never writing a review before, so I am going to rectify that now. This place always has hot & delicious food. The "fixin's bar" is always stocked with fresh vegetables. Normally, I hate getting tomatoes on my sandwiches at restaurants because they aren't consistently red and ripe. At Roy's, they are perfect. I load them on my burger there. The staff is friendly & helpful every time, and the place is clean. There are so many options as to where to spend my money, Roy's makes the decision easy. read more

This RR is clean, friendly, and the food is consistently good. I usually go to the drive-thru for breakfast, and if I have time, I'll eat in for lunch. I enjoy the atmosphere in here. The have comfortable booths, the lighting isn't harsh,and they play country music, but not too loud, and the staff know a lot of customers by name.
