Sweet! Clay, the owner, was super nice and we chatted the entire time I was looking around the store. He told me that this store has been here for 25 years and that he goes around the world looking for items and buys them up and then has them shipped back to here. Great! The reason the store is called Yucatecan Imports is when he first opened the store, he originally was bringing back hammocks from Yucatan, nice little history there! Each item in the store is marked with price and also where it comes from, so super cool! This is about as fair trade as it can be. Clay has hand painted scrolls from Thailand, Buddha calendars from Nepal, bookmarks from Turkey, earrings from Peru and Mexico, and my favorite, he has a chirango from Ecuador (however, the chirango was made in Bolivia)! I wanted to stay in here all day and look at everything he has as it is super neat all the wares he carries. He doesn't operate an online business, so he's old school, and wants you to come into his store, great! I ended up buying a mini wooden carved elephant from Thailand, this is a gift for my mom as she loves elephants (and so do I) and will send it to her! I'll definitely be back here especially when I have to find unique gift items for friends and family! Great little shop hidden away, come check it out!

He made it appear that this store does not have the funds to pay for items so they are trying to get donations to sell to make money. When my sister apologized, she tried to explain that there must have been some miscommunication about selling because we just wanted to know what products to bring in from home, he kicked us out. We have no idea why he got so angry so fast. We would kindly appreciate the owner to evaluate this associate as it appears they are taking items without purchasing them, and verbally attacking potential/new customers simply for asking what brands and types of products we should bring in to sell. We will tell all our friends and family to stop buying and selling from this establishment due to the disrespect and lack of customer service. Thank you for looking into this.

They have great brands including Urban, Anthropologie, and Free People at just an amazing value. If you're like me, these brands make your mouth water but your credit card cry. Come to Reclectic to find still very much in style pieces that won't hurt the bank. Also I think this is a great way to prevent these items from getting destroyed and ending up in landfills due to not being sold the first time around!! Note that there are no dressing rooms so don't make the mistake I did of wearing a dress to shop here. There is a wall lined with mirrors where you are free to try anything on over your clothes so wear leggings and a tank top to shop! Will be coming back!!
