Called Fenson Tech Support about 3 weeks ago now. Received an immediate answer. That made me…read morevery happy. I found Mr Fenson to be extremely personable and helpful on the phone. We agreed to have him come to my house to put a VPN on my network... or rather at the network level. I have plenty of concerns about security and privacy of home networks and usually this issue has not been addressed by some sort of security software installation. I've used VPN's before and unfortuately this time I was having issues with the day-to-day functionality of the particular VPN I had installed (surfshark). As it turns out its a very bad VPN product and most of the regular every day websites that I needed to go to like banking online was restricted when surfshark vpn was engaged. Andrew (thats Mr Fenson), came over on schedule for the day and time that we picked and he proceeded to work on my VPN situation. We ended up switching providers to a different VPN (pure vpn). This one seemed to work in my case. However, installing it at the router level just didn't work and he recommended that I buy a different router. Since I've just purchased the current router just 3 years ago I don't feel it's received enough use compared to what I paid in price ($900). I will keep his suggestion in mind for future planning. Also, while he was at my house I asked him to take a look at my laptop and erase all data and re-install Windows 11. I also wanted him to do this by bypassing the required username and password and having to be online in order to log into the computer. This issue is one of the worst things that Microsoft has done to their software as of late and I remove this feature off of all my machines. I also don't want to be forced to use a password if I don't want to... I will decide that later. So Andrew was able to do all of this with no problem but I think he didn't quite fully understand my initial request. After a few more tries, some follow up phone calls, Andrew came back to my house to finish the install the way that I wanted it. In summary, I fully recommend Andrew for any of your computer, networking and security needs. He can set up security cameras and network all of them for you as well. Maybe I wasn't clear enough on what I wanted but eventually we got there. Andrew is young and extremely intelligent and I know he will go above and beyond to help you with any of your computer tech needs. I may not be his ideal customer because I'm not your typical 80 year old person who has just learned how to plug in a computer... I grew up with this stuff and I'm more advanced than most... I even build computers. My latest computer that's sitting on my desk right now, I built, and its got a $2000 graphic card in it, 56 Terrabytes of Hard Drive Storage, 128 gb of RAM... so I'm not your average user. I know that Andrew can help you with pretty much anything you need and I will be calling him again if I need him in the future... So he is in my speedial now and I wish him much continued success in his business.

I checked around and noticed all the great comments from Desert Cow customers, so I called them. At first Service seemed great, they make house calls. When the tech arrived I mentioned that before the virus my PC had been getting slower and slower over the last few months. I asked him about installing more memory and He said I had plenty of memory. He noticed I had MalWare bytes, System Mechanic, and another software that was suppose to speed up the PC. He recommended I get rid of all and go with Norton. He mentioned that a solid state hard drive would make my system faster. So I agreed that he install a new drive, get rid of the viruses and all Malware and anti-virus software and Install Norton. It took 7 days to get my PC back (One of those days was a holiday, but 6 days is still a long time). After it was delivered and setup the PC started up so fast. It took just a few seconds to boot up. For a few seconds I was excited, then I was told I would have to re-install all my software. It took me a few hours every day for a week to get all my software re-installed and files moved to where they should be. The solid state drive is great for booting up my PC. It doesn't help when I am moving files, or installing new software. The problem is that my old drive was a Terabyte and it was replaced with a solid state drive that is 1/4 the size. The new drive doesn't hold all my data so most of my data is still on my old slower drive. I don't remember if the size of the drive had been discussed. I just assumed it would be replaced with a drive of the same size, or larger. If it had understood that I was getting a much smaller drive I would never have agreed to replacing it. Even after all this happened I wasn't going to write this. But a few weeks ago I called Desert Cow because I had another virus. The woman who answered told me she was working with another customer and would call me in about 30mins. It's been more than two weeks and no call. I was able to contact Norton and they fixed the problem in a few minutes.
