Great communication and quick, easy sale. Vehicle as described. Bit of a drive from my house but worth the trip.

Checked in at 11am to be told not ready yet, they've been busy, and air bag can take a while. (Written in text!) Okay that's fine, but mentioned I am on time constraints today. - Ok! They'll get back to me asap. Check in again, still being worked on at 12:30. Check in at 3pm to let them know vehicle will have to stay now due to prior commitments for the day. No problem from them! Get an automated text saying work complete and a bill at 3:45 for a $90 oil change, a note of muddy breaks, and no safety recall done. No part on hand... and they're back ordered! WHY was I not told about the missing part at ANY point of contact throughout the day prior to the bill? Let alone not having the part ordered in the two week span of setting my appointment?! A miss communication I was told. A $20 loyalty coupon applied, as a repeat customer.... Thanks a lot. Paid my $92 oil and will take my business elsewhere... and to one with a much quicker turnaround time for the part. Communication is seriously lacking here.

This is the BEST auto repair facility around! For several reasons I very highly recommend NuCar…read moreChevrolet of Lowell. Most importantly, their repair work was excellent. My car was nearly totaled in an accident. Now that whole section of my car looks like new! You'd never know that it was previously so badly damaged. I would challenge anyone to find any trace of the damage! Secondarily, the service was top-notch. From the first contact they were all highly professional, responsive, listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and were very pleasant to deal with. Thirdly, their communication was also excellent. Throughout the three weeks of extensive repairs, I received consistent texts, calls, emails, and pictures from them detailing the progress of their work. All told, I'm very happy to have chosen them to repair my car, and very pleased with the results of their performance!

Title: Formal Complaint - Misrepresentation and Unresolved Vehicle Issues…read more I am filing this complaint regarding my purchase of a 2016 Kia from Dracut's Car Connection on July 15, 2025. Since the date of purchase, I have experienced repeated mechanical issues, including the check engine light returning multiple times despite numerous visits to their shop. I was informed by Frank, the owner, that certain repairs were not covered under the warranty, requiring me to pay out of pocket for parts and even travel five hours to Massachusetts to obtain one myself. Despite these efforts, the same issue persists, and the vehicle remains unreliable. Additionally, the dealership refused to provide an itemized receipt for the work allegedly performed, and I have evidence that my signature was forged on certain documents. I believe the vehicle's defects were known prior to sale and intentionally concealed. I am requesting that this matter be formally investigated, and that appropriate action be taken against Dracut's Car Connection for misrepresentation, possible forgery, and failure to honor warranty obligations. It was the best experience buying a used car from Dracut's car connection. We live in Connecticut…read moreand they drove the car to us so we could look at it and then drove it back to CT to register it with us. They sat at the DMV for 3 hours while we registered it (long story). There were a few minor things that we wanted fixed on the car and they were more than happy to do so. They also came down on the price to make the deal work for all of us. Frank was a pleasure to work with and incredibly fast getting the loan approved, as well as his right hand men who were so patient and great. It was a 10/10 experience working with this business. We HIGHLY recommend them!!!

And then he sold me a truck with a bad transmission which I called out when he first gave me the truck and didn't pay no mind to what I was saying !! Back in September 2017, I purchased a car from commonwealth auto in Lowell, Massachusetts. The…read moreowner David, said the car was ready to go and that he had just picked it up from an auction. He also said that he had his mechanic go through it and change all the fluids and make sure the car was ready. Upon taking his word, which was a complete mistake! I paid him the asking price of $5000. Upon driving it home, back to Maine, The speedometer stopped working and the gas gauge as well. Upon further inspection once I get the car back to maine, I saw that underneath the vehicle, somebody had attached the end of a set of jumper cables to the exhaust. The exhaust in the rear was being held up by the insane attempt at securing the exhaust. I had an appointment the next day with a local Audi mechanic. Who mind you, has been there for 20+ years. The long and short of it is, the car needed $3600 worth of work. After receiving the paperwork and the estimate etc., I got a hold of David at the dealership. He said the mechanics up here are ridiculous, and that his mechanic could probably fix it for under $1000. I told him I did not want the car that I would be returning it, and that I would like a full refund. I even gave him $1000 because I felt bad about the bum deal. Did he take it? Damn right he did! I had to have the car towed back to Lowell from Maine, which out-of-pocket cost me $239. Plus the cost of registering the car which was just over $500. He wrote me a check for $4000, keeping the thousand dollars that I agreed to give him. Seven days later, my bank contacted me to tell me that the check had bounced. Was I surprised? No, not really. After reading all of the negative reviews on David and his so-called dealership? I cannot believe the state of Massachusetts, allows him to operate! Selling me a car that was not fit for the road, should be against the law! He is, like everybody else has said, a thief! When I contacted him to let him know that the check bounced, he blamed it on his account. I had to drive all the way back down to Lowell, and pick up a cashiers check that at least was guaranteed not to bounce! When I picked up the check, he then back stepped, and said that it wasn't the accountants fault, it was his fault. What kind of goddamn circus is this? After sending him the receipts to get my investment back, which is stated in Massachusetts lemon laws. He has yet to repay me close to $1000 that was accrued by having this car for 48 hours. Stay away from this guy. He by far, one of the most dishonest people I've ever met in my entire life! He even had the nerve to give me a card that gave me a number to call the Better Business Bureau to give him a good report, the day I took the car home. What a joke! The world needs to know about people like this. And I will do everything in my power, to tell the truth, not smear his name, but just tell my story which is I guess the best I can do at warning the world about this horrible dealership and shyster owner.
