Whoever does not give this place FIVE stars is insane and doesn't know how to have a good time. THE BEST arcade I've ever been to in my life and we go to a lot of arcades. It's huge, great selection of games, it's open late, you can drink, what the heck is not to love.! The drinks are a little pricey but not horrible. You can walk around with beers, if you get a hard drink you have to stay in the drinking area. We drive here from bend as much as we can because we love it so much. Right after the west coast game park in bandon, OR this is my favorite place!!! Please do not listen to the bad reviews and if for some reason they close because of all these bad reviews I will be devastated! We have been here multiple times and not once had a bad experience. YES the credits are a little pricey but that is everywhere! You want it cheap go to a buckle arcade! It's about on par with Dave and buster but WAY BETTER games and selection. read more

I'm sure under normal circumstances I would have 0 complaints. However, as a nursing mother, and no place to nurse my baby, I went to the car. Before leaving my party, and the area, I was told I would be able to come back in. That was not the case. Instead I stood outside with my newborn with no shade until others left so they didn't go over occupancy limit. I feel like there is something management can do about this. read more

If you love to waste your money for very poor entertainment in return this is the place to go. All of the games cost way more credits than they should. The only reason I am not giving one star is because they at least have a Time Play card which can be used an unlimited amount of times for an hour on the green swiper games. Total money pit. If you thought you could just walk in with cash and play, you're wrong. After waiting in a line for 20 min and trying to figure out their pricing system, which is way more complex than it needs to be, we bought the unlimited play. The price for us was $48 an hour with our card purchases. Unfortunately, we learned the hard way that the unlimited play was limited to just a few machines scattered around the facility that no one really wants to play. The unlimited card basically allows you to play all the games that don't earn you any prizes or tickets. If you want to play any game that gives you tickets or prizes then you have to pay with a different card. So, we spent the first hour listening to our four kids complain that they couldn't play the games they wanted to. We then decided to spend another $50 to get the kids a different card which would allow them to play the other games. However, this only lasted them about 15 minutes of play time. Everyone left with a few credits still on their cards that they couldn't spend because the games require more credits. The system is designed for you to not be able to spend all of your credits to entice you to purchase more. Our food was subpar and took almost an hour to get us our nachos and french fries. My oldest son had a machine malfunction on him and he lost his credits. When we notified an employee we were told to go stand in the customer service line which was about 45 minutes long because they had one person servicing a line 40 deep. We left with heavy hearts and empty wallets. read more

The staff here is GREAT! Everyone was so nice and helpful! This place has everything! Even with extra precautions and having to do extra cleaning, they are pleasant! They exchanges shoes for bowling until they fit perfect. The food and drinks were good. We will definitely be back! read more

Get your patience ready. First line 30 minutes to get tickets (loaded card) it would have been helpful to have someone helping the line so you could ask questions. Only two people taking orders and the line was so long because everyone had questions. So when it was my turn I had asked about the unlimited play. I didn't understand nor was I told that the card only worked on green Machines. So I bought four of them for my kids. Spent 50.00. Major disappointment. I then waited for one hour to get one order of nachos and a churro. Pretty sure nobody had to cook this.. chips and cheese and a churro..... must I say more. While I waited for my food I waited for 30 minutes to get a beer, only one person serving beer with at least 25 people on line. No IPA on tap? I guess it sold out? For an opening weekend you would think they might get two? Or another person tending bar. I then waited on the long ticket line to get my kids tickets that worked on other games besides green. Another hunk of cash to get even more disappointed. One game stopped in the middle of playing and the attendant that we waived down says just wait in line and we will put the tickets back on my sons card. My face was probably pretty priceless after I stared at him to be told I was going to wait and one more long @$$ line. We decided not to and it was the terrible horrible no good very bad experience. Not to mention at one point I wanted to talk to a manager and I was told that they just left getting onto a plane. Get more help for food drinks and tickets. There needs to be someone educating the staff and patrons. If the staff doesn't know the answers how are the customers supposed to figure it out? We spent over $150 and it was the worst experience ever. I was telling someone else about my terrible experience and they told me about the kids club. Why wasn't I told about the kids club when I bought four cards for four kids??????? Again lack of communication to me as a customer. Super understaffed at the bar. One register at bar and for food. Random security guard ID'd us at like 8:00 (weren't even getting drinks). Stood in line at the bar for 30 minutes. Got a Kareoke room, not allowed to reserve rooms, not allowed to turn down the lights, not allowed to sit on tables (there's one couch), no alcohol allowed in kareoke rooms. read more

directions for crane games are not clear. apparently you have to win the prizes in the front to win the prizes in the back. however, this is not posted anywhere. i asked to speak to a manger and she gave some bs about how they do that for inventory sake. when you spend hundreds at a place you would think they would want a good word of mouth in a small town but this 20 something year old manager acted like there was nothing she could do about it. your the manager and the customer should be right especially when the game is not clear. train your staff better and be more clear on the games as I would have not even played if that was clear. instead here I am writing a review on how crappy the manager is. read more

Everything about this place is a money sucking hole!! I will never ever go back!! Rude employees! Terrible food! My son and his family are visiting from California and I wanted to show them an amazing time and share with them how awesome Oregon is, we decided to go play a few games and go bowling. The games were working half the time and the food which was the worst ever took a long time to get ready!! Wings were soaked in barbecue sauce that was basically inedible!! I purchased a beer that was mostly foam on the top! Then we started to bowl and the kids were getting fussy so we needed to leave. We asked if we could get a refund on the second game we purchased and was told by a chubby manager with a lisp that there was no refunds!! What??? We had spent so much money in that place already! What a ripoff!! I will be telling everyone i know to never ever waste your money in this place! I was a general manager of a Chuck E. Cheese in California for 15 years and guest service is the most important aspect of business! I would have refunded my guests to keep them coming back to my store! I just can't believe this nightmare this experience was!!! Awful Awful service!! I will never ever waste a dime in this place ever again! Close this place down! I understand that this is a new business and some kinks need to be worked out, but the incompetence the two times I've been here and spent as much money as I have doesn't excuse the the lack of customer service or lack of proper training. I paid for my family of five to have annual memberships and I mistakenly took the word that if the cards were lost that they would be replaced free of charge because my name and phone number would be placed into their system. Guess what happened not once, but twice. Not properly put into their system, or probably not even put into their system. I'll just spend my money locally from now on at the two other locally owned arcades who have a better sense of business and comprehension. This is THE place to go if you, like me, have always wanted to go to a Japanese arcade but couldn't afford to leave the country. Their rhythm game section is the best in my opinion, having acclaimed games such as Sound Vortex, Project Diva, and the latest Dance Dance Revolution. They have a pretty good selection of fighting games too if that's your scene, including ones that never got official arcade releases over here such as Arcana Heart. My wife and I were playing the Willy Wonka coin pusher machine today there was another girl waiting for something on the other part of the machine that was broke. My wife had three Willy Wonka cards about to drop and fall with extra points if she would've swiped again and kept being able to play. A worker stopped us from playing and said she would only be one second, and she needed to reboot the machine. Long story short, she never turned it back on, and kinda ruined our experience. Over half of the machines in the place are down needing repairs. They obviously rushed their grand opening, we won't be back for a few months. read more

This place is a hot mess. No one who works here know what they are doing, got carded multiple times while playing games even being well over 21. Wanted to redeem my points for something but had to wait for over 20 mins to combine my points to redeem one prize because they needed a manager override and didn't let the person who was running the counter to do it herself. read more

This place is terrible. DO NOT spend money here. The games were glitchy and you would swipe the card and nothing would work except deducting money from the card. Kids would get very frustrated with the games and often swipe multiple times which is like $2-3 dollars each game so it deducted a lot of money very quickly. The staff was somewhat helpful at first but to get help you would have to walk across town because this place is rather large. After the 3rd or 4th time the manager was not helpful at all. Round 1 is a great place to hang out with your friends on weekends. They have food, drinks, arcade games, claw machines, kareoke, bowling, ping pong and pool. Credits can get kind of pricey but it's worth it especially if you're good at the claw machines. Haven't tried their food yet but I went yesterday and got the ice cream cone ($0.99) and it was pretty good. Games were all fun and unique as well - as far as I know, you won't be able to find anything like this place in Oregon. The prizes from the claw machines are SO cute but make sure you understand how to properly play the claw machine or else you'll probably lose a lot of money. read more

Staff is very rude and unprofessional, and drinks are ridiculously over priced.

Security made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We were told we could have drinks at the lanes and then for the next hour we were watched like hawks by security. They kept passing by us and side eyeing us like we were doing something wrong. Then finally after making us uncomfortable they came up to us and told us we could not have our drinks at the lanes. Some awesome new games I've never seen before ... a lot of the claw machines have interesting out of the norm prizes . Food was pretty good. Wings were huge. We did not bowl, but it looked like a party in that area. Negatives about this place .... 1) games are pretty expensive. 2) you have to wait in line to get a soda refill . I had to wait 15+ minutes 2 times for pitcher refills. I thought maybe the bartender would do it for me since there was no one at the bar and I'm sure he has a soda gun , but he said I had to wait in the food line. 3) no kids indoor play area. I was expecting one because other Round 1s have it, and being in Oregon where it rains a lot it would have been an awesome feature. 4) not great for large parties... they do have longer than normal booths which is nice, but we did a birthday party and had to have 3 booths and it didn't really feel like a party because we weren't all at one table. read more

Consistently poor slow customer service here. Never enough staff. 1 machine to collect tokens, 1 at a time, they won't take and help count at the prize counter, even if you count them for them. That's for multiple games and there's always a line for this machine to redeem the tokens for tickets. Last time I visited this machine was broken and the bar was closed. I wanted to get my little girl a Shirley Temple and I asked when the bar would re-open and the employees laughed and said they had no idea. The games are a lot of fun but everything else is a hassle. Pretty expensive too for what you get in prizes. read more

Fun place for adults or just to take the kids. A lot of arcade games are 6+ credits. Some games even ask for more credits if you want extras within the game. UFO, and figure games are about 9 credits a play. Big crane is 12 credits and small I believe was just over 6. BEWARE of kids running up and hitting buttons! Had some parents not watching their kid who ran up and did this to me right after swiping my card; so I lost out right away. A regular game card cost $2. To get a plush from the UFO claw took me 2 tries for the least..one took me way more tries because I just became so invested. I have yet to try other things. But will update once I do. Best arcade in Oregon in terms of variety probably. They have more obscure Japanese arcade games which is great considering most arcades have exactly the same stuff. Can't beat 1 dollar ice cream cones too, which are pretty good for a dollar. The price is decent. Some games you can play on time, others by "coin". Especially great for rhythm game fans like me since there a ton of them here. Staff are pretty nice and take care of the place well. read more

Looked like a fun place, in reality it's very expensive. They charge for everything, $4 bowling shoes, the $2 card they make you have to play games, I'm surprised they don't charge a bathroom fee. Had a great time relaxing with my grandson having a game of bowling and some video games. Then the unbelievable happened. My grandson tripped and hit his forehead on the corner of the bowling ball shelving. Ashlee the manager was fantastic providing the necessary help and comfort to me and my grandson. I thought I would write another review to cover my second trip to Round 1. While my last experience was exceptional, this time around was not so great. This was mainly due to an employee named Kayla. Not only was she rude and crass, she also slapped an ice cream cone out of my sons hand and spit on my feet while walking by us just for kicks!! Myself, my wife and our 9-year-old daughter love round one! Some things I wish we knew when we first came, you have to get a card issued from the guest counter, all of your credits come from the card and all of your tickets go on the card, but in our modern times that is to be expected. There's a huge variety of arcade style games, claw games carnival style games as well as bowling and pool. I don't want to see this place go anywhere, so our family will definitely be making round one a recurring break from our daily stressors! read more
