Don't go in on a Monday night, as it's league night and the place is totally filled up until 9. I learned this after attempting to go in with my husband earlier. Even though we didn't get to bowl last night, we have been here before, and we like it. Every other one we would typically go to has either burned down or closed in recent years. So this is the closest and cleanest place around now. This bowling alley is huge! Which really stands out to me. They have alleys on each side of the building, and then an air hockey table in the middle and other arcade style games. It's a very open arrangement and not cramped at all. I always battle it out on the air hockey table with my husband when we are here, having to play at least two games. I am very competitive with him whenever we find somewhere with an air hockey table. So whenever we are here, we get to indulge that competitive spirit, and our inner 5 year old selves as well. It's definitely a lot of fun. The parking lot is huge as well, so there is always somewhere to park. I've never had to drive around looking for a spot. Watch the speed bumps though. They are pretty big, and actually nauseate me after I've eaten. After a couple, I had to get out and walk to the door while my husband parked the car to avoid any more of them. The lines in the lot can stand to be painted again, as they are a bit hard to see when it is dark and raining, but that is really my only complaint about this place. They appear to share the lot with Abby's pizza, as the restaurant is at the end of their parking lot, and attached. The staff is always friendly, and answers any questions. They are always up front about prices and information. Which I appreciate. When we went in last night, a man who appeared to be the manager told us they had league night going on, so they had nothing until 9, but they were open until 11. I appreciated that he gave us all the pertinent information, and wasn't rude about it or anything. He was helpful, even though he couldn't get us in. It's also a very clean bowling alley. Most of them have dirty carpet, smell funky and have greasy bowling balls from people eating and touching them. Here, they actually keep things clean, well-lit and that makes it comfortable. I appreciate the fact it is so clean. I honestly can't remember if they have food here or not. Most bowling alleys do. But we usually stop in here after we've eaten dinner, so we are too full to eat, and so checking for a snack bar or anything has never crossed my mind, and if they do have food, I don't have an opinion on it because of this. Even though we couldn't bowl last night, we will definitely go back, as we have been here several times before, and never had a bad experience. We just know not to go on a Monday night, as it is league night, unless we want to go later in the evening.

Definitely not your typical bowling alley ambiance. Our group ordered a few different items and everyone was very pleased but I have to say the tots and sweet potato fries were the best! We also grabbed a few drinks from their bar and the lady working was super friendly and helpful with draft selections.

There are only 8 lanes and they have these swanky leather couches to sit on for an awesome vibe that was great for an adults only play area. It's a small spot that left you feeling intimate while having fun. You order food and drinks from the bar and they deliver it to you at your lane. With over 20 taps there is something for everyone to drink and they have a full menu to choose from. It's bar food, burgers, wings, fries etc. But, the pizza is the hidden gem here. The wood fired pizza is so good. The crust is perfectly chewy and toothy, the cook fired it perfectly and it had the perfect crunchy crust. My wife was able to add Ricotta and roasted garlic from another pizza to the main pepperoni and she said it was fantastic. Me, I have a dairy free diet so I got the Veggie pizza without cheese. I was very surprised with crispy mushrooms and olive blend. The mushrooms were PNW mushrooms and had such an earthy aroma and flavor. The marinara was spicy too, it was just a perfect pizza. It just needed a garlic EVOO drizzle to tie it together. We will definitely be back, this has made it into our top 5 date night locations.

Best burgers in town is their slogan. The burgers ARE good, but have you had the nacho cheese fries? HAVE YOU!!?? If not, your missing out. They've got a pretty great selection of food on the menu as well as drinks. They've also got video games and a couple claw machines as well. It's a pretty laid back family atmosphere. I rented a lane on a Saturday, 1.5 hrs for $40, up to six bowlers and it includes shoe rental. This is a pretty good deal, with four people we got 2 1/2 games in. We stopped the last game halfway through voluntarily. (No one stopped us when time had run out, but I'm an adult I can read a clock.) A nice family activity for not a lot of money. I actually saw a kids birthday party setting up as we left. Eat some good food, get a little exercise, and make some memories.

I have purchased three bowling balls and had two of my own bowling balls re-drilled at the pro shop and none of the balls were drilled the same so ultimately I had to get them all re-drilled by someone else. Had a incident in the bar when new bartender decided, I was slurring my speech and therefore cut me off. I had nothing to drink prior and my bar bill was only $20. Never in my lifetime have I been cut off it was quite embarrassing. I've seen people over served routinely in this bowling alley. If asked my speech could be explained away from two previous strokes which caused speech issues. I kind of felt for whatever reason the bartender made a big mistake and told her so prior to leaving. Had another incident springtime at league when I asked the person working behind the desk if she could turn on the overhead fan. She advised she could not do it without the approval of the manager, which happens to be the owners daughter or co-owner. I would normally defer because there are a lot of older people on the league who get cold. But it was a nice day and half the bowling center was wearing shorts and T-shirts that day. Eventually, the manager relented and turned the fan on, but it was obvious she was not happy because she was cold and had to put on a sweater. I absolutely love the people that I bowl with and it saddens me but unfortunately, the incident at the bar was the final straw that pushed me away. They lost a good customer as me and my family won't be returning. If anyone at linn lanes would like to reach out and talk about this review I'm open to that but I'm not holding my breath.
