One of our favorite restaurants in Pullman. LOVE their back patio! Their (dinner) charcuterie platter is definitely my favorite item on the menu. Love the assortment of meat, cheese, fruit, etc. It also includes a big soft pretzel right now but I kind-of prefer the old version because I'd usually just ask for no pita/crackers. My husband usually gets the steak, salmon, or burger with GF bun, no cheese, and no mayo. The burger is a bit of a gamble for people with multiple allergies, though, because on 1-2 occasions the waiter only remembered some of the allergy mods. We avoided their burger for a while after that because it's not fun sending something back and waiting for a new item. Their brunch mimosa flight (which seems to get updated frequently) is fantastic but sadly they won't let us order it during dinner. In the evenings I usually get a beer for me and a cider (or canned cocktail) for my husband. read more

2nd visit here, this time for brunch on WSU Parents weekend. It's like a hidden gem as all the other breakfast/brunch places are packed! Simple but varied menu, relaxed ambiance and beautiful view! My daughter and I both had the avocado toast and potatoes. Delish! Highly recommend! read more

The sign out front that says "please wait to be seated" will have you waiting for an eternity. We waited about 5 minutes, then went up to the bar to ask for a table. The bartender gave us menus and said to sit anywhere we like. We chose a table on the patio. Table service was quick from that point on (thank you Ashley). I had the shrimp and cougar gold linguine. It was good, but had waaay to much sauce on it. The cheese was the dominant flavor. There were maybe 5 shrimp on the whole dish, and useless toast points perched on the edge of the dish. Drink service was so-so. Ashley is apparently too young to drink, so could only tell us what her mom thought of the wines. Charming. But her mom was right. The Calloway Chardonnay was a little on the dry side, but good with the aforementioned linguine. My husband had the classic cheeseburger with waffle fries. He liked it. read more

The view when sitting outside is gorgeous! I ordered the salmon and grilled vegetables with rice pilaf. The salmon and veggies would be a 5+ stars. Both cooked to perfection. The rice was just okay. It had some crunchiness to it and it was actually wild rice (which I like better anyway. While I said 4 stars, I highly recommend it! read more

So we went there last night for their special Valentines dinner and here was our experiences. We were seated and greeted right away. It was a 4 course meal all of which came out with perfect precision and the taste/flavors were out of this world. I have not been this impressed with a meal in who knows how long. The only thing I was iffy on was the smores desert as the chocolate was a little strange but the other deserts were heaven. The meat was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was awsome, very polite and very attentive. I will be back without a doubt. read more

We're here on Friday night. Service was abysmal! The server would disappear for 10 15 minutes at a time. Then after over an hour wait for our food to arrive (5 salads and a chicken sandwich), every single order was wrong...simple stuff (no avocado on sandwich, no garbanzos beans on a salad, 1 got salad got steak when chicken was ordered...and the appetizer we ordered (frito misto)...they were out... Other than that, everything was perfect including the apology every 10 minutes from the server and finally from the manager. I get that it was graduation weekend, but it was not overly busy, just workers looking busy...BOO!!!! read more

The Round Top is a great location to grab lunch or dinner. The restaurant has been renovated, so it feels much more open and modern. I was pretty impressed. However, the menu is a bit limited and I think a little over priced. Sure there are some meals that are pretty, but may lack in portion like the flank steak. My first time here, I grabbed the teriyaki chicken. It was good, but nothing spectacular for around $15. Service was also good, and we appreciated our waitress being patient with us as we checked out the new menu. This is a good place to come, enjoy a beer or wine and check out the amazing view. read more

Went there for happy hour and they offered a lot of tasty treats under 5$! The Brie bites, shrimp tacos, and loaded fries were absolutely amazing! There was only 4 other people there when we went and we sat at the patio! It has a Beautiful view also, service was fast and great. Food was also very good, I was contemplating on getting more food because I thought happy hour food doesn't usually have the biggest portions but their happy hour portions were just right! It is extremely rare for me to post negative reviews, however, I am so disheartened by our experience that I felt it important enough to share so others wouldn't waste their money. The value for what we received could not even compare. While the views here are beautiful, the food and ambiance of the Pavillion setup was beyond disappointing. When I walked into the Pavillion, I felt as if I had walked into our garage with outdoor tables setup for a backyard potluck. No worries I thought, the great menu we were excitedly waiting for should make up for it. I was wrong. At just about $50 a head, everything from the plastic Costco dinnerware and utensils to the food quality embarrassed me terribly as our group of 23 (mostly out of town guests) celebrated our Coug's graduation. The hand carved rib eye was tough as nails and couldn't be cut with the plastic cutlery provided for our eating pleasure. And as guests tried sawing their meat, we had to be careful not to shake the entire table while sawing so as not to spill drinks on the table. The rotisserie airline chicken thighs were moist and delicious on the inside but the skin was so tough, it too couldn't be cut with the plastic knife so I had to pick it up to eat with my fingers. ‍ The chef's assorted desserts were a variety of cookies which the young adults enjoyed and probably was the best part of the meal for our party. I was so disappointed with the food I couldn't eat more than the one piece of chicken and a roasted mushroom. -Won't eat there again. -Very very limited menu. -Confusing wine & beer list. -Water had strong unpleasant chorine taste. -All indoor seating was not compatible for children or seniors (High bar type tables and chairs). All outside tables and chairs were fine if you enjoy wind and inclement weather. They did set up a teeter-totter table and chairs for us inside. -Hard to carry on a conversation with fellow guests because of the terribly noisy kitchen and poor acoustics in the dining area, even though there were only about 10 people in the restaurant. -Waitress only served and took orders from the end of a rectangular table approximately 6' long using the other guests to pass your food and relay messages. -Burgers were a sloppy mess and the veggie burger was horrible. I worked at this establishment as a cook so I can say without a doubt that they have the dirtiest and cheapest kitchen I've ever seen even after working at a Dennys and managing a Pizza Hut. I'm talking moldy food in the walk-in. I'm talking great value brand frozen chicken strip being sold at a premium. I'm talking dishes going without a full wash long enough to grow fungus. Please if you value your health don't eat here. The owner would walk around the kitchen in flip flops. Nasty stuff. read more

Ordered the Prime Rib--tough as a shoe leather. I'll chock that one up to bad luck. Everyone else in my group seemed to enjoy their dinners. I'll give them another chance. They seem to have all the right things in place (good atmosphere, decent beer and wine selection, etc.). read more

The location is wonderful, the venue itself is meh.., and the food is awful. The drinks are ok though. I expected a better menu with more choices and better tasting meals. The things on the menu are not even appealing and when ordered they taste like something we could have got in the frozen section of the grocery store. I expected the food to be above average and for it to be a nice restaurant to frequent. I'd rather go to the sister restaurant, South Fork. read more

The worst Tamales I have ever had in my life. We were told they were shredded beef and they were not. It was chucks of beef that was surrounded by fat. Disgusting hard fat and gristle. The tamales were obviously not fresh or properly made because they were falling apart. They doused then with red sauce, supposed to be a mole sauce maybe? Not sure, but the beef tamales were awful. The rice was undercooked and no where near a Mexican rice. The service was good. We will try a different dish next time. read more
