Inside small but clean

It's one of my favorites when I'm craving pizza. There are some more gourmet and nouveau pizza parlors out there, but for convenience, consistency, and value, it's my favorite. RT has always had the same original tomato sauce forever, as I can remember. There are lots of choices for specialty pizzas, as well as your favorite personal toppings. Their ingredients are always fresh, cooked well, and generous. Now a days the pricing has gone up, since twenty years ago, when I started to become a regular. But, everything is more expensive now, anyway, right? This particular location is right off the PCH and next to CVS, and adjacent to Handel's my all time favorite ice cream. So you can combine the two together. Even better...enjoy!

Las pizzas son deliciosas, las mejores que he peobado!! La atencion muy buena también!!

Sausage Mushroom

I know this is a chain. Its decent and my son really loves this pizza. It seems to be one of the more popular places to pick up pizza locally. We ordered half sausage and Mushroom and the other half pepperoni.

Online hours show open until 9:59pm

If I can give 0 stars I would. Ordered food online. Friday night hours are until 10pm. Show up for a pick up at 9:15pm and they are closed. Someone also showed up and ordered their food online too. If you are going to close early then turn off your online orders!!

Does this look like pan crust to you?

I ordered a pan crust extra large pizza. $70 for this pizza. The crust that I expected would've been a raised thick type of crust. What I got was a chewy not raised at all pile of you know what. I called the restaurant to complain. The first person I talked to said that they were out of pan crust. He transferred me to someone else, who argued with me that the pizza that I got was their pan crust, despite the first person telling me they were out of it. I have never had a worse pizza. I specifically ordered from round table because of the experience I have had with their normally high-quality pizza in the past. This was not that and I did not appreciate whoever I spoke with on the phone telling me that I got a pan crust pizza when what I got was obviously not that. I will never order from this restaurant again.

Just like I remember. Maybe not the best pizza in the world, but for anyone who has fond memories of RT, this place does not disappoint. And...it shares a parking lot with my FAVORITE ice cream counter, Handels! Ordered a half and half: smokehouse and italian garlic supreme. I preferred the Italian Garlic and opted for Pepperoni instead of Canadian bacon...so good. Hit the spot. Also, good hand tossed crust, not too thick, not too thin. Worth a stop, and don't skip the ice cream at Handels across the way! Thank me later

Since we were on a family beach trip the kids wanted pizza. The dude and I didn't want pizza so we got something else but my sisters placed the order and my mom, aunt in law and older adult cousin went to go pick the pizza up in Torrance. Although I didn't want pizza my sisters still ordered half cheese as I LOVE Round Tables cheese pizza which is so delicious. When my mother and I entered we were greeted by staff and all the pizza we ordered to feed over 10 people came to $184 which was not too bad for all the pizza we got. The inside was clean, still no inside dining when we went in early October 2020. I did end up eating a slice the next day for lunch. The staff was not really friendly as employees appeared they just wanted to get off work and appeared annoyed. We paid and had to wait still a little still. The food taste great and yummy when we got back to the hotel. The nieces, parents, aunts, cousins, and sisters all enjoyed the food and said it was good. The staff could have better mood but overall the food was good and the family was very happy! Overall we would come back.

King Arthur's Supreme Pizza. Pretty to look at, but barely warm and not "cooked." Extra pepperoni are those pathetic 6 on top!

Come here if you want super slow cardboard pizza that takes over an hour to make. I'd give zero stars if I could.

My son and I had an appointment nearby and he asked if we could have this for lunch. I'm always up for trying new places, so I agreed. We came in, and were welcomed by a tall gentleman at the entrance with, "Pick up?" I said no and he walked over to the cashier's side as he saw me perusing the menu; he asked if this was my first time. I confirmed and he went over the menu; which I appreciated. I opted for the broccoli cheddar baked potato bowl with steak and shrimp, while my son went for the spaghetti and meatballs. The gentleman was kind enough to offer us samples of the beverages. I really liked the orange drink, while my son loved the berry drink. I paid the check and then the guy asked if we were dining in or taking out; and I confirmed we would be dining in. This is where things went sideways. I completed my order at 12:03 but we didn't get our food until 12:25; then when we got our food, there were no drinks. I had to get up and line up to remind the cashier about the drinks. 22 minutes for these two dishes and then another three minute wait to get the drinks I ordered 25 minutes ago; that is overkill in my opinion. The whole process was confusing. I'm assuming the cashier was supposed to give us our drinks when I paid but he forgot. There was no explanation on how the process works. I assumed we would be called out by name, since he asked for my name while ringing up my order. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is nice. This was my first impression and though the lengthy delay and confusing experience didn't leave a great impression on me; the food was still tasty and if I do return, I will likely stick to take out.

Even after placing my order, the staff was happy to accommodate the change, which I greatly appreciated. The sandwich, paired with the tomato basil soup, was phenomenal. It was loaded with turkey, smashed avocado, smoked bacon, pickled red onions, and fresh greens. The flavors blended perfectly, creating a sandwich that, in my opinion, is far better than anything you'll find at Panera. After my wife and I finished our meal, one of the staff members, Zeron, kindly offered to clear our trays and bowls. Service like that never goes unnoticed. As always, the atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, with plenty of indoor seating as well as outdoor tables for those who prefer to dine outside. Thank you for another delicious lunch. We look forward to coming back again soon!

While my expectations aren't generally high for salads, the Chicken Pesto Parm bowl was very good. The bowl comes with chopped white chicken, quinoa, baby spinach, tomatoes, garlic bread crumbs, and a side of both pesto and hot sauce. Everything was fresh, and I especially enjoyed the quinoa that was used as a base for the entire meal. Additionally, the Hibiscus tea that I got wasn't too watery or sugary, so it complimented the meal perfectly. Our service was nice and fast, with my date and I only waiting roughly five minutes for our orders to be ready due to one of the ingredients for her salad needing to be refilled. Both of the young ladies working the counter were courteous, and they ensured we knew the code for the nearby restroom. The only reason for a 4/5 stars is simply due to the lack of space to eat inside of the establishment. Those of us in Southern California are currently experiencing record-breaking heat, so it would have been nice to dine indoors, but there wasn't enough room for us both due to other patrons inside. Fortunately, it wasn't too hot outdoors by the time we started eating, but we would have preferred indoors. Nevertheless, sweetgreen is a great salad spot to check out for a lowkey first date, healthier eating, or simply for anyone looking to try something different.

It was the worst thing I've ever seen in my life and I only bought it because I was with a friend if I would've saw the portion size at the end, I would've walked out and told them I'm not paying for that. They were extremely greedy with the portion sizes. They asked if I wanted a "free" bread at the end when I was paying. There were three options in front of me so I picked the one bread that looked the best out of the three they honestly all look very crusty but I picked the best looking one and I said I'll take that one and the girl says oh no, not that one it has to be one of these two the one that I picked is an up charge just like everything else in that store.. extremely disappointing. I would never return ever in my life. If you want the world's smallest portion sizes with 90% lettuce and 5% toppings and another 5% of protein then this is your spot. And let me just mention I'm 115 pounds at 5'2 which says a lot on how tiny these portion sizes were if it were small for me with double chicken save yourself the money and disappointment. They make it look big by grabbing a big shallow bowl and filling it up with 90% lettuce. I was in disbelief to see the tiniest amount of toppings that they put and they spread out the toppings so that it looks like it's full.

The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.
