I am so glad we decided to check this place out! I love all of the sours they have on their menu (my favorite!) and couldn't have been happier with my beer flight. The "red fish" (Swedish fish) flavored sour was to die for! We ended up ordering a bunch of different appetizers for our lunch. The Brussels sprouts were crunchy and fresh with a great summery lemon flavor. We also ordered a soft pretzel with beer cheese and mustard. The mustard was amazing and I could have eaten a tub of it!! Finally, we got an order of hot wings. These were by far the hottest "hot" wings I have ever had. Short and simple, the place to be in the Hershey's area! The food is amazing, the service great, awesome atmosphere and just superb customer service. First time here for s few drinks and dinner after visiting the attractions and I highly recommend it. I ordered the country fried rib eye steak with chili bacon mac-n-cheese and grilled corn. It was tender and flavorful. OMG!!!! That Mac and Cheese....just thinking about it makes my mouth watery. ;-) All fresh ingredients used and our waitress was very attentive and helpful. I also had a nice watermelon Sangria and did I say that the dessert menu was very intriguing (even when I don't eat sweets that much) it all sounded and looked awesome. I spent our first week in Hershey with my wife, and we were craving a delicious burger from somewhere. Luckily, Rotunda Brew Pub showed up on the list and we were incredibly happy with their food. At this time, they had outdoor seating available as a dining option with the indoor dining room closed. We had called our order in for pickup and it was an easy to place an order and pick it up from somebody inside. Currently, their most updated menu is the one on Facebook, not on their website. They also have $10 off credit you can get if you use your email to sign up on their website. Pricing: The food is averagely priced with entrees varying from $11-$17. I can only speak about the quantity and quality of the burger, but it was well worth its price range. Food: We ordered a pub burger with fries and a southwest burger with chips. Both burgers had beautifully toasted brioche buns with a patty that had a wonderful grill flavor to it when you bite down along with its own complementing flavors specific to each burger. In terms of chips or fries, I enjoyed the chips a little more than the fries since it had more of a crunch than the fries, and I personally love a crunchy texture. My husband and I travel to Hershey 2-4 times a year and are always looking for the best restaurants. We found this place on yelp and everyone loved the deviled eggs and the menu looked good so we tried it! For appetizers we had smoked wings which were great, pickle egg rolls awesome and the deviled eggs, my husband liked them but I did not...way overrated! For entrees I got cajun Alfredo which was just ok nothing special and my husband got the southwest burger which he enjoyed. Overall food was good, not great, not bad just average! Made a reservation on yelp, which the restaurant didn't honor. Despite having a confirmation, they said, "we don't use that system anymore" and proceeded to tell us they couldn't seat us except a small hightop in the bar. 5 minutes later, a table opened up by moving things around, .....in a dining area with 5 open tables, 4 of which never filled. I'd say it's a generous three stars, realistic 2 star place. Food was pretty good, service at table good, but the, "we're not honoring your reservation" thing is an unacceptable stance for any business to remain solvent. read more

At 69 years old I am set in my ways and I want things the way I want them. I like my burgers well done. I don't want to have to cook it after it's served. Well, that being said the burger came out perfectly cooked to my liking. The atmosphere of this place is awesome! It's not noisy so you can actually have a conversation. I would call the decor retro. There is a nice fireplace with a beautifully decorated mantle. Soft music playing in the background. The wait staff is very attentive and pleasant to speak with. I've been here a couple times now, and each time, the food has been great! The restaurant is cozy, busy but not overcrowded in my opinion. The bar is also quite nice, tho slightly small. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of seats, and it's a comfortable and well decorated space. Lots of beer on tap too, and really, isn't that what matters? Lots of whiskey options too, including flights. My latest trip, I had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich with bacon mac and cheese. The pulled pork was good, though I question the "BBQ" part as it didn't taste smoky at all. No BBQ sauce either. It was tender and tasted good, just a bit misleading of a title, imo. The mac and cheese was tremendously delicious, cannot oversell! Biggest downside is the parking lot is kinda small, as is the sign by the road. When I first came here I was really disappointed. The atmosphere was cool and the usage of the building is really interesting, but other than that my experience was bland. However, the second time I came I was completely astounded (5 stars). I've been two more times and things tapered off to equal 4 stars. When it comes to the food, for me it has been hit or miss. The first time I really did not enjoy my meal. Second time it was great; 3rd and 4th times varied. That said, I think the best way to give a good review is just to parse it out. Pros: *Unique Setting - the restaurant it divided into rooms, such as the lounge and the main seating area. Each room has it's own feel which gives you a different experience each time you dine. *Excellent Hospitality - Aside from my first visit, each time I have been here I've been treated exceedingly well. During my last 2 visits I was by myself, which typically tends to lessen attentiveness due to tip ratio, but not here. All of the employees who interacted with me were very personable and accommodating. *Promotions and Recognition - Irv's, as the name suggests, is obviously a pub which makes it an ideal spot for Saint Patrick's Day. Not only do they mix up their menu, but they bring in live music and decorate -all without going overboard. It's an excellent blend of festive feasibility. Additionally, they seem to recognize patronage very well. For me, I had my meal comped due to repeat business; a little gesture that's highly rewarding on both sides. Cons: *Parking - for me it's the biggest little thing. Parking is tight, but you can go around back. Just try not to bring your huge SUV and clog things up. *Food Quality - No no no, I am not saying the food here is bad. What I am saying is that I have been several times and the rating varies. My first meal was a Salmon Reuben and granted it doesn't even sound good, but I'm adventurous so I gave it a go but it definitely was not worth it and I do not recommend. The second time I went I had the Pork Belly which was exceptionally good. For Saint Patrick's Day the Shepard's Pie was delicious whereas the Irish Eggs Benedict was passable. What a great find. If you're in Hershey you've got to put this on your must do list. Farm to table fare menu with something for everyone, and tons of flavor. The four of us each had something different for dinner; Korean fried chicken, Irv's burger, fish and chips and mushroom fettuccine. However, we all opted for the banana creme brulee for dessert. The moist and perfectly cooked chicken had a crispy crunchy coating, and was served with a Korean BBQ sauce and spicy cucumber kimchi. Irv's Burger, cooked to your order, was served with a sweet BBQ sauce of red pepper-bacon jam. The fish is cod and was super flaky. The coating was made with a light a crispy vodka batter. The fettuccine was perfectly al dente, sauced with a light white sauce with porcini mushrooms and toasted walnuts. If you like creme brulee and banana cream pie your in for a real treat. The creme was made with pureed bananas, and the sliced bananas on top were bruleed with just the right amount of sugar for a perfect sweetness. Our server, Anthony, was very knowledgeable about the menu. He went out of his way to find out that the bartender would be able to make me an Aperol Spritz. It was just like I had in Italy! Wow, what a delightful restaurant in Hershey, PA. My family came in for a later lunch and it was not busy at all, so we were seated immediately. It was warm and inviting on the inside with roaring fireplaces and decorated lovingly for the holiday season. The menu was simple, but filled with a bunch of good stuff. I ordered the seafood chowder and was extremely impressed. There was a medley of seafood and each bite was divine. It seemed to be the hit of the dishes that came to our table. I got some bites of my daughter's bacon grilled cheese. Between two, thick pieces of sourdough toast was cheesy and bacon-y goodness. Yum, in my tum! Service was fast and thorough. I wish I could have sat there all day eating and drinking. It just had that type of atmosphere that screamed, "come, eat, drink and relax". Try the deviled egg appetizer! The taste and presentation were fabulous. The pork tacos were flavorful but dry. The Mahi tacos lacked Mahi and the fish that made it to the taco wasn't very tasty. We didn't see mention of mango on the description, but the Mahi and slaw dominated leaving a flavorless selection. Nice selection of microbrews--our reason for stopping by. Extremely disappointed. I've been here a few times when it was Irv's for drinks and appetizers which were always good. This time I was at the restaurant with a group. I ordered the entree Caesar salad with salmon. I didn't order a drink and only had the water at the table. The salad was SO TINY. I thought it was a joke. It was like a child's size portion with a teeny tiny piece of salmon. I ate it in about 30 seconds. Then my bill came ...$26.00!!!! Yes, you read that right. I left the place and ate a protein bar I had in my car. Such a rip off. All of us that ordered salads left starving. Seating was wide open & the staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered a pretzel, Asian maple wings, & fries. The cheese dip was good with the pretzel, but the spicy mustard was better. It was full of mustard seed. The Asian maple wing sauce was delicious the way it was. No ranch or blue cheese needed. The fries were good, and Jr preferred the white dipping sauce over the ketchup. I ordered the Revenge of the Pith, which was lite and had a sweet citrus refreshing hoppy taste. Giz ordered the Citrus Punch sweat tart, it was sweat with a mild citrus finish that was surprisingly refreshing on a hot summer day. Definitely a need to stop in and visit again. read more

I've been here twice, both times have been disappointing. Fish and chips were the most tasteless greasy bowl I refused to eat with two small pieces of fish. Wasted $17. My daughter ordered plain pasta with butter- not sure what was in it but she was immediately sick when I got home and up all night on the toilet. My son ordered a burger and that too was nothing to brag about- $15- plus extra for the damn fries which should come with at that price. It was an $89 bill and not worth a penny. No parking available, the lot is tiny!! 1 ladies toilet with a full restaurant there was always a line! The only attractive part is the beer flights. However, called a couple days before I went and asked if I could bring my growler and have it filled which I was told then that they would charge me per ounce- which is fair. When I got there I was flat out turned down regardless of whom ever I spoke to before. I do not recommend. Please be smart, save your time and your dollar and find a better spot. read more

I can't imagine calling up my friends and asking if they want to eat at The Rotunda...maybe I could if it was still 1955. Worst name ever. Second of all the food here is very hit or miss. Been here a few times and have always walked away disappointed. Have never truly liked anything I have ordered. The atmosphere is nice, it's close to Hershey, but the food just needs dialed in. What a great find! I went with a group of friends for brunch, and everything was amazing. I found the name to be a little deceiving, the decor and menu are a little mor3 upscale than what traditionally comes to mind when I think of a "pub". All of the food is farm to table, and everything on the menu sounded so good. We had a hard time deciding! Two of my friends ordered brunch entrees and my sister and I split a couple of "small plates". They were not small! We ordered breakfast tots, vegs, and nashville slides. My friends ordered the croissant and tots and chicken and waffles. Food came out quickly and the portions were generous. Our server was attentive and we were grateful for her suggestion to order a French press carafe (I don't know what the container is called..) to share. Be sure to make a reservation on thier website ahead of time! It was surprisingly not crowded for Sunday brunch during our visit, but once word gets out about the food, it will be! Tator tot nachos without green onion- all out. It was laughable. The waitress tried to compensate us with dessert. We should have run away, but we tried to be grateful. It was the saddest- cold shortcake with strawberry jam and a couple of dollops of whip cream. Why would you serve something in a skillet straight out of the refrigerator?
