Their synthetic oil change is too expensive according to other shops. I think 65-69 would be a good price for synthetic oil change. Some of the workers there are very friendly but some of them are not very friendly. Some of them don't speak English (maybe this is why). I don't know if I will come back there to change my oil or something else. I will think about it. One thing I think they should be: FRIENDLIER. Also avoid asking costumers inappropriate questions (ex: personal questions). I will give 3 stars, because the place is nice and they are very quick doing the job. But the oil change still expensive and they need to be friendlier.

Unfortunate to have to leave this review…read more I originally brought my 2020 Subaru Forester to Atlantic in March 26 for a new AC evaporator core & expansion valve kit. The dash had to be removed for this to be installed. Unfortunately, the issues with the shop began even before the work started. I made an appointment and dropped off the car......and the car sat untouched for 6 days. No call, no update from the shop. I was without a car for 6 days when I didn't have to be. Once the job was completed (9 days in total) I noticed that there was a crack in my dashboard that was never there previously. The car was also filthy and I found a half eaten chicken wing in the back seat. At the time I did not complain, or leave a bad review, but I wasn't happy. For the next 2 months I noticed there was a mildew, wet smell in the car that I could not get to the bottom of. Forward to late May. When I started the car, my dashboard lights went crazy. I took the key out of the ignition and the dashboard lights did NOT turn off. I took my car to Subaru and they diagnosed the problem. The bottom line is, when Atlantic re-installed my dashboard they forgot to attach the AC drip hose. AC drain water was leaking into the cabin under my carpet for 2 months and caused corrosion and a short in my CAN harness bus lines. Subaru told me that I have to replace my instrument cluster harness and the harness that runs to the back of the car. So, now that I know that this dashboard short was caused by Atlantic's negligence, I brought my car back to them in (Jun 1, 26). After speaking to the management, I find out that my car has again been sitting for 4 days and no mechanic has touched it. Once again no call or update from the shop. The customer service belies Atlantic's google reviews. Atlantic refused to reimburse me for the diagnosis from Subaru and my rental car bills, even though it was their mistake. They say I should have brought the car back to them before I went to Subaru. This does not hold up. Why would I bring it back to them for electrical problems when I had my AC fixed there? They did fix my dashboard and now say the car is fine. The car now has a terrible mildew smell from the AC drain leak. I would not recommend this shop.

I told Kirk already, I refilled the a/c twice with freon and dye. he, kirk, charged $275 just to check it out, seems high. he told me 2 seals has to be changed and a/c will work again. compressor and other parts fine. then he charged me total $550 for just changing 2 seals and refill freon, pretty high. 2 days later no a/c. went back he said compressor went bad. You said the compressor was fine and other parts (Really in 2 days? Did not hold accountability for his mistake). walked out with no a/c and dissatisfied customer. filed dispute with credit card company. that week after I left, i got rained on twice because i had to roll down the windows, car got wet inside and almost got into a car accident since it was raining hard 1 day and I had to keep wiping the windshield to see on the road over and over and almost got into a car accident. i do not think you guys did the job, and on top of that, he did not offer to fix my compressor issue at all. Kirk, was looking for a compressor and he was not going to pay for the compressor, that's what he said. you guys are going to double charge me again when i come back.

Every time I would get something fixing another problem would arise a fee days later and I would bring it back in and it ended up costing me about $22,000 in total over about 2 months The last problem i had was supposedly a transmission line broke and the transmission needed to be rebuilt that cost about $6,500 I was without my van for well into 3 weeks because they said they were waiting for a part to come in for my transmission rebuild.. I finally got my van back and immediately started having problems with the way it was going into gear and shifting.. So I brought it to a dealership to get it looked at because I was tired of dealing with this mechanic shop and the amount of money I have spent there trying to get my van to work properly..it should practically be a new van .. the ac was the first job done and still having problems with that after them charging me $3,000.. Anyway back to the transmission rebuild.. Once I brought it to the dealership ,the dealership found that Empire auto care installed a junkyard Transmission in my van that had altered vin numbers and they charged me for a rebuild.. They knowingly installed a junkyard Transmission with altered vin numbers ( ground off ) with green spray paint.. Its a federal offense to tamper with any vin numbers on any Vehicle Motor Transmission I have filled a police report and filed a report with the attorney General office .. I have also hired an attorney as this place needs to be held accountable for what they have done .. This is fair warning to anyone reading this not to use this place as they come across nice but will cut corners and deceive you for profits .. They only offered to install a new transmission after getting caught so they could cover up the fact they defrauded me out of thousands of dollars... What they did to me is criminal and will be dealt with accordingly.. I would never use this place or refer them to anyone.. I don't care what it cost me they will be dealt with for doing what they did.. Installing a transmission on a vehicle where the VIN number has been obscured or removed raises serious legal and ethical concerns. A VIN is a unique identifier required by law for all vehicles and is crucial for verifying ownership, tracking vehicle history (including accidents and recalls), and preventing theft. Here's a breakdown of the potential issues and actions: Legality and risks Felony Offense: Knowingly possessing or transferring a vehicle or part with an altered or missing VIN is a serious offense in most jurisdictions, potentially resulting in jail time and hefty fines. Stolen Vehicle Presumption: A vehicle with a missing or tampered VIN is highly suspicious and could be presumed stolen until proven otherwise. Voided Sale/Title Issues: Even if not stolen, a damaged or missing VIN can create difficulties with obtaining a clear title, selling the vehicle, and insuring it. Liability for the Mechanic: A mechanic who installs parts without a valid VIN could face legal consequences, especially if the vehicle is later determined to be stolen or linked to other illegal activity.
