Decided to try this place out instead of my usual nail place and honestly even though I am giving 4 stars I will not be coming back... I wanted to get acrylic ombré nails done and my appointment was at 4pm to which I ended up leaving at 6pm. We got started on my nails maybe 10 mins after I got to the store and I just remember feeling like I was sitting there forever. I know the technician wants to do a good job but I still think the amount of time it took to do my nails was way too long. I also realize that doing nails is something that should not be rushed but honestly this was a little too extra for a set of regular acrylic mails. Overall the service was really great, everyone was very nice and friendly, however I ended up paying $60+ on my nails and that really shocked me. If I had just gone to my regular place it honestly would've costed half of that amount and probably would have looked basically the same. I am giving this place 4 stars because the service was great and they were very hygienic! They genuinely do a good job however you can most definitely find a cheaper place to get the same things done. TLDR: Come here if you aren't on a budget :) read more

Great nail salon! The ladies there are very friendly and the salon is quiet. I find that way more relaxing compared to the other busy salons. I got my nails done here twice, one each month, and both were regular mani & pedi. For a whole month, my nails stayed perfect! No scratches or scrapes. There's not enough stars to give for how exceptional everyone is at Rosy Nails. I originally booked an appointment for myself today but a friend of mine wanted to join in last minute. I contacted Rosy Nails and immediately got a response through the Yelp app saying they're able to accommodate my friend. We got in today for our appointments and walking in, we were greeted with smiles and greetings from all the staff. I immediately noticed the cleanliness of the salon. I got my nails done with Nancy and showed her a picture of the design I wanted and she was so helpful and knowledgeable. I ended up getting exactly what I wanted. They also have a fall/winter promo going on right now and I was able to get a full bio gel nail set with design AND a pedicure for $100 more or less including tax and tip. This place opened up about 5 months ago and I feel that they have incredible service for the price you pay. I've recently been looking for a new nail salon as the previous one I frequented changed ownership and diminished in terms of service. Rosy is practically next door, which is great for me. The women are super friendly and conversational. The massage chairs at the pedicure stations are the best I've come across thus far. They offer you tea or water and if the colour you picked out doesn't seem flattering, they help you pick out a new one. I think it was one of the most positive nail salon experiences I've ever had. I had wanted to try a new salon and decided to go with Rosy Nails due to its high rating, so I made an appointment and arrived at the salon to get my nails done. Upon arrival, nobody seemed to acknowledge me even though I was trying to catch someone's attention, another customer was actually served first before me and I had to wait an extra 40 minutes after picking a Color and before anyone really noticed I was actually there. It has been a week and a half since I got my nails done and two of them have cracked and all of them are beginning to turn brown and have cracks in them that make is slightly uncomfortable for me to use my fingers. read more

So I've had my nails done here a couple of times (with Nancy) and also took my daughter there this time in preparation for a special event. We both got shellac (bio seaweed gel). The staff are very nice. But their product & process is terrible. Never ever have I had this kind of experience elsewhere. The first time I tried the venue based on reviews, my nails started to chip and peel after just a few days. This time I had the same experience and so did my daughter. Her need was more urgent so we had her's fixed a couple of days after getting them done. We do not live close to the salon so it's an effort for us to go there. Then a few days later mine started to chip in as well, as did hers again even after getting them fixed! I've attached pictures to demonstrate the issue. It had been almost 2 weeks since our original appointment. I did explain that our issues had arisen just a few days after we had our nails done but it didn't seem to matter. That's a choice the salon makes. Perhaps Rosy Nails is good for artificial nails, but shellac leaves something to be desired - sorry. I've tried to be honest and fair in this review which is what I would hope for if I was the owner. read more

This is my new go to place for getting my nails done! It is brand new so the space is very clean and chic. The staff are also very attentive, offering tea during my service and they use newly sanitized sealed equipment when doing my manicure. It's all about the small details that makes this place so great. The customer service is always on point and Nancy (the nail technician) always recommends great new styles for me! My mom and I went to Rosy Nails to get manicures. One a gel refill and another acrylic with french tips. Our experience here was terrible, first off we had to wait about 10 - 15 minutes even though we had an appointment, and once we did get our nails done, the service went downhill from there. The place was not clean, as other reviews had mentioned. Sure, there are some packages that were autoclaved, but my nail technician did not use any new or clean tools. The space is tiny so I constantly had people pushing my chair inwards to get through and they were so overbooked that people were waiting 20+ minutes just to be seen. The technicians were also very distracted the whole time. My technician stopped a couple of times before we even started to go off to help someone else and my mom's technician stopped mid-way to answer the phone and to go and talk to clients coming in. We were at the salon for an hour and a half. My mom was very unhappy with her experience as her technician did not listen to her requests (she wanted shorter nails) and each time she asked for the nail to be cut shorter, there was a huff and puff along with it. My mom was also burned with the nail file because the technician kept going over the same spot repeatedly even after my mom told her that it was hurting. Also, the technicians were all speaking in their native tongue, which I understand, but with my mom asking for certain things, made us feel as though they were bad mouthing us the whole time. My mom's nails were also very crooked and different lengths, I actually had to go in with a nail file when we got home to fix them. I had a refill on my acrylic nails (I had my nails done at another salon) and I wanted to change the shape from almond to square. At first I was told that it couldn't be done because the shapes are completely different but I was eventually given my square nails. My technician was super rushed and I felt as though he couldn't wait to check his phone (his phone was on the table charging). He was very impersonal and barely spoke to me, and just tapped my hand when he wanted me to switch between hands. He was also quite rough with me and pulled me closer to him so that he didn't have to move forward a couple times. After the filing, he also didn't clean off my hands properly and didn't give me the opportunity to wash my hands so he basically did my nails with my dead nail residue left on my hands - and then gave me a massage at the end of it rubbing it into my skin....? I will say that the shape and the paint job was nice, however I was worried that my nails wouldn't be dry by the end of my appointment because rather than keeping my hands under the light for a minute or so (typical) he had me change my hands constantly after 10 seconds or so. He then had me stick BOTH my hands under the one UV machine to let it dry, which I've never done before. There was also a bubble on one of my nails and my nails were also different lengths. Needless to say, I definitely would NOT go here again. The customer service was extremely poor, and they were also not that cheap considering the reviews saying it is. read more

My friend and I went here after seeing all the "rave reviews". I'm 34 and have never had my nails done cause I didn't want to ruin them. But I decided to just try it once. After meticulously going through different places, I thought this one seemed good. I wanted short forms with blue French tips and my friend got tips with shellac. I picked my color and they put it on the table. The only male there was who I got. He barely speaks English and didn't really interact with me at all. He first cut my nails and left them all jagged. Then he started prepping the tops of my nails with an electric file and was very rough and cut me twice. Then he was going to start putting the form papers under my nails when I asked him to fix my jagged nails. He did with a grunt. I showed him a picture of the length and shape I wanted. We went through the process of him doing them and then grunting every time he finished one looking for my approval. After they were formed, he started shaping. They were too long for me, too thick and the wrong shape. I said so and he said, fix later. So I was like, oh ok he's far from done. He continued on making them all like that first nail. Then he said, "white tip?" I said, "no, blue tip"and pointed to the bottle sitting in front of him. He pulled out white and said, "white?" I was like, "the blue". Then he says, "White better". It's my first time so I was like, oh ok he knows what's going to last longer. So he did white. He finished, we paid and left. We get outside and I learn that my friend was also cut and bled and the girl wasn't going to clean it until my friend asked her to. When I got home, and got a good look at my nails, that's when I realized how bad they were. They were so thick and heavy, some were really bumpy, the French tip wasn't great and my one middle finger had a split in the side that wasn't even connected to the rest of the nail. I was pissed. I went back the next day and wanted them off and my money back. I explained to them everything that was wrong and how he ignored my color choice. She said she'd fix them. I told her to please just take it off and refund me. She took them off and in the process of using the electric file, cut me AGAIN under my finger cause she slipped. The guy that did them originally, just stood over us, watching and tisking and then they just kept talking in their language. After having it all removed, I stood at the front wanting my $50 back. She then tells me that there's no refund because I just didn't like the color and that they're not charging me for removing them. WHAT?! I showed her everything that was wrong. It was far from just the color. And did she really think she could've got me to pay for the removal? This has ruined me for ever trying fake nails again. If you've had a good experience here, you're lucky. But, this is just my experience. read more

What the hell is this . I had beautiful long coffin chrome nails and went to get a fill. I asked when i walked in for the price for a chrome refil. I am told 40. Then i sit and as my nails got really long i asked if he could shorten them just a bit . He shows me one and the lenght is fine. He proceeds to file them all way too short in a square shape. I then said i dont want square because i had coffin so i asked if he could round up a bit the sharp corners because at this point theyre already ugly and stubby looking. He files 3 of them then tells me its extra 5$ for the change of shape which i never wanted a change of shape just not the corners to be sharp!! He had already ruined my nails then for color he says its an extra 15$ for chrome. (Last time it was 10$ for chrome when i got a set-what the hell is this?) i then go for a standard color cause my nails are RUINED and at this point i already have to pay 5$ for a change of shape i didnt want ! And on top of everything, the top coat isnt even shiny its cloudy. My nails look DISGUSTING ive never had an experience like this i went from beautiful LONG nails to NOTHING!!! It doesnt even look like i have acrylic nails anymore theyre stubby, ugly and i had to pay for this crap when last time i had the most perfect nails. read more

I wish I had some nice things to say about Rosy Nails. I didn't have the greatest experience on my first visit. I made an appointment originally for 5:30, but I didn't get into the chair until around 6. It seems like they do not prioritize clients who have made an appointment. I was frustrated as I was supposed to pick up family from the airport that evening so because of this I was very behind. I feel like this place overbooks clients. Walking in, I noticed the place was very busy, and smelled very strongly of chemicals, even for a nail salon. I also noticed the place was quite dirty. I did not find it very clean or organized. When I finally chose a nail colour, they informed me they didn't have it... or the next colour... and the next colour was inaccurate. Disappointing and a bit confusing. I am now on day 6, and I feel like my shellac is already showing cracks! I don't treat myself to getting my nails done too often, so for this to happen makes me feel disappointed. I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately will not be returning. The only positive I could think of, is that the prices are decent. read more

EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO GO HERE, READ THIS ABOUT WHY YOU ABSOLUTELY SHOULDN'T: First of all, I'm just gonna say that with anything I always give a benefit of the doubt, despite what people say about it. I mean you will never know what it's like unless you actually go try it out for yourself. So that's what I did. I ignored the bad reviews and came to Rosy Nails. Let me just say, the nail technician was firstly very rude; didn't even greet me, smile at me or even look like she wanted to be talking to me. I'm not asking to have a full blown conversation with me, but a little friendly talk won't hurt anybody. I want to go somewhere where I feel comfortable- instead I felt so unwanted here. I even smiled at her a few times, which was met with a really cold glare. I said I wanted acrylics, because as advertised on their site that would be $30 and is a good price. Instead my nail technician says something along the lines of "no, acrylics is no good, get shellac on top of the acrylics so it lasts longer." I said I wanted acrylics and she kept insisting that it will be better with Shellac so I gave in and said sure. She said it will $45 which is $15 more than what I expected to spend today but I was like okay fine whatever, as long as they do a good job. Unfortunately they couldn't even do that. The application was firstly horrible. A complete disregard to hygiene, such as not sanitizing my hands or her tools before beginning. Cutting WAY too much of my cuticles, which can lead to infection as cuticles are the barrier to bacteria entering inside your nails. When filing she didn't even hold my nail down, and if anyone knows it is PAINFUL as hell when your nails are being filed aggressively and it is moving all over the place. She didn't even let me show her what length I would prefer to have my nails at, she just goes ahead and cuts them and doesn't even ask if I like the length. She also does that with my nail colour. She goes ahead and puts it on the nail polish and doesn't ask if I like it either. Like sometimes the colour looks more different on your nail then you thought or you realized you don't like it. But here you don't even have a choice to say if you like it or not. Fortunately I liked my colour, but if there's people that are shy and not as confrontational, the complete lack of disregard for what the costumer wants will make many people get things they don't want. She wouldn't even talk to me when she needed my hand or needed to position my fingers in a certain way. She would whether grab them or gesture to me and then scoff if I didn't do what she needed as if I can read her mind. She didn't even apply the nail colour correctly or clean under my nails properly. I have attached some pictures but I also have little dents in the nail it doesn't show up when I take a pic but everything about these nails are just bad. When I took a look at them in broad daylight they looked so different and the more I look at them the more I see all the issues with them. So I paid $55 (tax plus my tip) for these nails that are worth less than $10. I don't want a apology I want a refund- no I need a refund. I cannot pay $55 for nails and get this type of rude service. I went to rosy's to prep for my vacation, my friend and I made an appointment 5 days in advance. When we arrived we were treated and told to pick colours. The colour selection for basic polish was very slim and not too much variety. My friend was getting a shellac manicure and got seat and started within 5minutes, I sat in the pedicure chair with luck warm water on my feet for 25 minutes before someone came to tell start my pedicure, people walked past and avoided me. At 30 minutes the person doing my pedicure kept trying to lift my pants and start regardless of my verbal prompts to stop, I was not getting a pedicure anymore my friend was almost done and why would I want her to wait. They giggled and said sorry - that was it. I found the workers rude, disrespectful to my presence and very under prepared. If it had been a walk in I would have been much more flexible and tolerant, however I had an appointment 5 days before. My friends manicure turned out alright, however, I couldn't tell you what the pedicures were like. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

When called to inquire about ombré nails they claimed that they can do it. So I booked my girls and I to get our nails done for the wedding prior to our rehearsal dinner nearby. I get there and we are promptly seated together which was nice (we did make a reservation). As I'm getting a pedicure I was asked about what I wanted to do on my nails. I told them I would like pink ombré with some rhinestones. They told me that they can't do ombré my nails. After being confused for solid 10 minutes as they didnt explain why they couldn't do it. They kept on saying they can't do it. Then another nail technician said that they can only do ombré on fake nails not on natural nails. I know it can be done as I have seen friends and students get it done on their natural nails including my matron of honour who was at the salon with me- she looked at them all confused as well cuz she recently had an ombré nails done on her natural nails! I was very upset because my heart was set on pink ombré nails for my wedding. I was not impressed and annoyed that no one in the salon had up to date technique to be able to do an ombré on natural nails (which every salon seems to be able to do). So I unhappily settled for regular pink nails with some rhinestones. To make matters worse my nail technician files the side of my nail so hard with a brand new file and cut the skin pretty deep that it bled a lot. The nail technician applied this liquid that made the bleeding stop but it continued to throb the next day. I had to go see a doctor to get the cut looked at as it was very deep and still throbbing. The doctor glued the skin together to prevent an infection. I was extremely disappointed with the service I personally received that afternoon. I don't know why the whole ombré wasn't explained to me on the phone. I did specify after receiving a confirmation on the ombré I told the receptionist that I wanted shellac ombré manicure and a regular pedicure for myself as I booked the appointment. read more
