My pinky nail was not only split, it was bleeding and extremely tender. She even glued my nail to her glove mid-process. When I told her I'd rather let my nail heal before continuing, she got temperamental and pushy. I mentioned I could come back later for regular polish once it healed, and she still gave me attitude--telling me I'd have to pay first in case it messed up, basically blaming me before anything even happened. This was the opposite of professional. The owner here is always kind and has done this exact service for me before with care and no issues, so I know this is not the norm. Kate does not prioritize nail health or listen to concerns. I paid for my toes and removal and will only return once my nail heals--definitely not with her. Say NO to Kate. If you care about proper nail care, comfort, and respect--go to someone else.

Most of the nail salons in SA closes at 7. I happened to stumble on this place and was hesitant because every nail salon isn't created equal, but they were open until 9!! Say what?! 9? That's amazing! We walked in and they had a number of nail techs readily available! They immediately sat and got to working on us! I opted for the Milk & Honey Pedicure and got my daughter the deluxe pedi cure and we both got shellac. The ladies were very kind, detailed and took their time. There was no rushing and they did a wonderful job!! My daughter also got a manicure with shellac as well with blue French tips! She's 8 going on 18. The young lady who worked on her was so patient even though I'm sure she was ready to go home! She still took her time and did a great job! I got a French tip for my toes and the lady who did them was very meticulous! My toes haven't looked better! My daughter said, "look how perfect they did my nails!" While we were there, 3 more people showed up! Maybe there should be a thing for late night spa treatments? lol! All of the ladies (some Spanish and Vietnamese speaking) were incredibly professional and worked hard! It was definitely a diverse groups of women! The place was clean and well kept in my opinion. She missed a lot of the steps through the pedi process, she didn't file my nails only cut them and VERY SHORT and uneven, she didn't file the bottom of my feet or use the purple rock thing that they use. Then when she painted my nails, she left so many specs of polish everywhere at the end I had to ask for the brush myself with little bit of remover and I cleaned them up myself. I went in to get a shellac mani/ pedi. The husband did my mani. It was okay but needed to clean up the edges a bit. However not even 24hrs and my shellac mani started chipping. Two of the shellac polish had wiped cleaned from my nails. Truly disappointed since Shellac is suppose to be non chip and last for at least 2 weeks. In case you're wondering, I picked a DND DC polish. Either the polish is old or they need to use a better nail polish base. I went this past Saturday and this is how my nails looked on Sunday.
