The best thing about this location is the wide variety of water bottle selections that they have, not just in one spot which was in the check-out line, but even the ones in the back of the store near dressing rooms. The price was reasonable for the one that I got. However, I would say that the selection of clothing was struggling significantly. I found better options in the thrift stores. Lots of bargains here, quality clothing, home goods, even food. The downside is that there were 15 people in line for purchasing, and only 2 cashiers. Then another dedicated line for returns. The people who came in to return took priority over the ones making a purchase. That's kind of strange. THEN, a return customer came in and one of the regular checkers helped him. So, 15 people waited on 1 checker. NUTS! I thought Marshall's was the parent company. There, everyone goes in the same line. read more

While visiting my family in Buda, we came here because my boyfriend needed a new pair of jeans for less, so we decided to check out Ross. I was a little weary to check out this location considering the low reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent service we received throughout our visit. We were greeted once we entered, the fitting room attendant was friendly and efficient, and the checkout process was smooth with a sweet cashier (I can't recall her name unfortunately, but she wore glasses and had medium length brown hair). Don't let the reviews deter you from visiting this spot for a good deal or two! read more

I am new to Kyle and everyone has been so friendly and helpful. I recently had to make a return at the Ross and the manager Yolanda was so rude. I had called prior to coming in to let them know I had thrown out my receipt and I was told that my transaction could be looked up through my card. Well clearly Yolanda didn't get the message. She treated her associates with such disrespect and belittled a young man in front of me and everyone. I will not only give this place a bad review but I will be calling her GM and letting him know what kind of people he has working. read more

This place was a disaster! Maybe it was all of the Christmas shoppers, or maybe a lack of staff!! ? Where was the manager of this place? There was no staff to be found, if you did have a question about an item. All of the personnel were stationed at the long checkout lines. There are some deals to be had in here, if you have the patience to go through all of the mismatched items, and clutter. The women's jackets, for sure had a few nice deals, and some of the housewares products. The men's section did nothing for me, and had many outdated, and overpriced items, that needed marking down. Will probably just stick to their next-door competitors, and their coupon and rewards features, for a more enjoyable shopping experience. The last Ross, I went into, in San Antonio was much more organized, and efficiently ran. read more

I've worked in retail for many years, and I do enjoy shopping at Ross in general I think their prices are amazing and the selection is typically very good. But I have never been to a retailer where people with returns and exchanges take precedence over people who are buying products. When you stand in line for a long. Of time and someone comes up and is able to just get to register immediately it is very frustrating for the consumer who is actually buying stuff. I realize these doors are probably very high shrink but I don't know how taking a return Exchange customer over a buying customer would help deter that. This just happened at the store but it's happened at every store I've been to so this is not a knock per se on the store but it is a knock on Ross in general. I would consider re-evaluating that practice. read more

I am a business professional that needed to return a leather belt because it was too big. Unfortunately, I misplaced my receipt, but I just wanted to exchange for a smaller similar size. I was denied an exchange because I didn't have a receipt or the tag that THEY attach to the belt. Keep in mind, the ORIGINAL, manufacturer UPC tag was still attached to the belt. I was told that didn't matter. And there was nothing she could do. Every belt they carry is within $3 of each other. More worried about the POTENTIAL difference than losing a customer? Hope that $3 makes you a lot of money in the future, because you aren't getting anymore of mine. read more

All good experiences until today. I would give it all stars if the manager was humble. The manager today (male) not sure of his name proceeded to move my shopping cart with my infant in it.He did explain his reasoning "blocking" but he did it after moving the cart I was on the phone with my SIL getting her opinion since I was shopping with my niece (her daughter) while the manger rudely did it. He could have asked me to move it to the designated area that I didn't even know existed near the fitting room area. The associate that was working in the fitting room didn't inform us of this area either. We weren't standing where the fitting room associate was we were by the cart park thing but my cart wasn't in there.That situation bothered me but I moved on. We found ourselves in the shoe area completely different side of the store. The same manager while again I was on the phone getting opinion on shoes for my niece from my SIL he comes over and says he cannot allow my toddler without shoes in the shoe area mind you she was just innocently trying on adult shoes which of course I always put back in their spot. My mom works at a Ross in Austin so I am mindful of keeping store clean and organized when I shop. I just found it very rude how during my shopping visit he was in my business 2 times honestly at that point I wanted to leave everything I was buying there and walk out with nothing. Personally I feel like he does not have a welcoming environment for families. read more

Pricing is reasonable. Store is always a mess. Customer service definitely sucks. Other then that I love Ross.
