Beautifully curated collection of homewares, clothes, jewelry, and gifts. It's the kind of store that when I walk in, I know I just want one of everything! So it's hard to choose what to buy. There are beautiful candles, gifts for men, funny greeting cards, unusual jewelry, fragrances, lotions, leather purses, cookbooks, throw pillows, wall art... all gorgeous! When I need a gift this is my go to shop, located in the darling town of Buda (south of Austin). She just started carrying 'Baby Things' as well! She also carries a few clothes, candles, cookbooks and many one of a kind items for the home! Go check Mercantile out and then grab a drink and appetizer at Los Olivos Market or Nates! Downtown Buda is a gem for a nice afternoon of boutique's and nice people! read more

This is my favorite place to shop. When retail therapy is needed, I head straight to The Mercantile. This shop always feels cozy and the employees are so welcoming and helpful. I can always count on the Mercantile to have the cute new outfit I needed or a new candle to keep our house smelling great. My best friend and I LOVE shopping at Mercantile. It's like Target - you go for nothing but leave with something! It's the perfect place to get a gift for anyone in the family or just yourself. The owner carries a blend of unique and classy whether it's home decor or clothing. My absolute favorite thing from there are these candles that once you burn it all the way down, the candle jar is a MARGARITA GLASS. It's like a 2 for 1 treasure! The Mercantile at Mill + Grain is my go to shop when I need something cute to wear or need to purchase a gift. Kate has a great selection of affordable and unique clothes, jewelry, household and bar items, and even things for your pet. Today I stopped in to see if I could find a few Christmas gifts. I purchased some amazing hand cream, lip gloss and sachet for a friend; a set of really cool mixing bowls for my daughter; and some large ice cube molds for my husband. So stop by and check it out. The best candle selection! I've never worn cologne but I actually found several unisex fragrances that I'm crazy about. Expertly curated lotions, body oils and fragrances set this boutique apart from the cookie cutter shops. Buda has a real gem here. read more

This is my favorite boutique in Buda AND Austin. It is worth the short 20 minutes drive from Austin to check out what the Mercantile @ Mill + Grain is all about. I can do several laps around the shop and continue to find treasures that I need for my home and my closet! I feel so comfortable with the owner, Kate. This store is so cute! We were passing through Buda and stopped for a bite to eat and wandered into the store. If Anthropologie met old charm Texas and had an adorable baby - it would be the Mercantile! Such great gifts for the home - amazing candles, kitchen goodies, bar materials and the clothing and accessories selection is on point! The owner, Kate, is so sweet and obviously has an eye for fashion and design. I'll definitely be heading back to the store for some fall staples and picking up Christmas gifts for family and friends. read more

One fun…read morething I'd never seen before when I came here is there are little computers at each door, and inside the dressing room - you can click a button to call a sales associate outside to let you into the dressing room, and the computer inside lets you search for designs/other sizes to see if they're in stock. They also have a little QR code that you can scan which plays a video on how to know if your bra fit is correct. Very cute! The set up in this shop is also nice, although I will say it is definitely not as big as the VS in Barton creek mall. Nevertheless - the staff were really friendly and helpful here. They had their semi annual sale going on too and were knowledgeable about additional deals to stack. And after we shopped they gave us coupons for use in the spring. Overall - while I don't shop at stores in person much anymore, VS remains one of those places that I get coupons in the mail for, so I periodically go to use them or update a piece or two of my wardrobe. I'm glad this VS location is now an option since I occasionally go to southpark with friends for old time's sake hang outs, and there are still many great options!

We have never been treated this way before. How you are treating customers is also the way you treat other people. Be careful of this store if you are considering about it. Google review is not true.
