$5 medium corn cup with all toppings

Very interesting selections. I love that this location is so organized and easy to access but the quality and contents from vendors were a bit disappointing. There are outdoor vendors, indoor vendors, and 2 permanent food trucks. I opted for elote from one of the trucks and it was delicious. I would venture here just for this! I came here with my one year old and partner on a Sunday at 11am and it was packed. Constant flow of people coming and going. Parking is simple but pushing a stroller on gravel was a bit tricky. The indoor vendors might have hidden treasure but the smells coming from inside are not pleasant lol

Just happen to be in the area so I decided to visit the Kyle flea market. This was the dustiest most beat up flea market I have been to in years. Most of the people are selling just junk and the parking situation is a mess. I don't recommend coming out here.

A literal ghost town when they said they were open

We were visiting Austin for the weekend and was told to check this flea market out. It says they are open sat and Sunday starting at 9am. We are used to going early to flea markets to find the best items before everyone else, so we went at 930am on Saturday. It turns out Saturday IS NOT THE DAY TO GO HERE!! only 10% of the booths inside were even open!! Like, don't even say you're open 9am sat IF NO ONES OPEN AT 9AM pm Saturday. It was a literal ghost town. Then we drove by it on Sunday and the crowds and booths were crazy and everything was open. So, Saturday early is not the time to go here. Also, not a lot of high end antiques here. More like garage sale things.

It's dusty and stinks and all they sell is pretty much crap the thrift store doesn't want. Don't waste your time or gas

Nothing good...junk vendors. Not good junk either. In the past this was a decent flea market. Not so much now.

Oh Wimberley! You give my city exhausted heart a rest…read more This is my 4th time coming to Wimberley Market Days - I think I've been coming from Houston every 3ish years since 2014. Not a fully seasoned market day gal but definitely not my first rodeo. First, Lions Club parking is now a $10 donation up from the $5 it used to be. There is one $5 lot but it's a cute walk. With shopping & an almost 4 year old kid, we opted for a close parking lot. There is something for everyone here. Vintage, garden art, pottery, freeze dried candy, jellies, hats, boots, hot wheels. There is even a donation only booth for a pet shelter/rescue. This is an open air market so weather is a huge factor here. Thankfully today was the first pre-fall cool front so the breeze & mid-80s awaited us! Bring your wagons/carts, coolers, fresh eyes & enjoy! Places like this remind me Texas is a beautiful place to live.

Arrive early as parking fills up fast! $5 fee to park at some of the lots and bring a wagon to tow all your purchased goodies. Maps are provided at the entrances and be prepared to browse hundreds of booths/vendors selling everything- you name it! Plants, antiques, books, food, home made decor, garden decor, etc. Concession stands throughout the market- selling BBQ, burgers, breakfast tacos, sandwiches, snacks, and drinks. This market is entirely run by friendly volunteers. Entertainment (live bands) are located at each stand. We ended up buying a beautiful plant (dessert rose), cute metal TX armadillo decor, a large metal round TX star art to place on a large stone in our front yard, an antique bike planter, and a large metal wind spinner. Drove through downtown Wimberley afterwards, but there was so much tourist traffic, that it was impossible to park. Looked like there were lovely restaurants along the river as well. Checking out downtown may have to be on a separate day. Cute cowboy boot statues are decorated throughout the city, great for a photo op. We look forward to attending market day once again in the future.

We arrived only an hour before they closed, and I only saw about 1/4 of the vendors areas before they announced the 15 minutes till close. I ended up walking through the rest of it as quickly as I can and I didn't get to see everything. The prices vary widely, which makes sense, since items are priced by different vendors. I ended up purchasing a vintage frame holder, and I can't wait to go back!

It definitely leans toward the grotesque which makes for an interesting browsing experience. Creepy dolls, haunted masks, odd surrealist art, a lot of funky religious pieces. In regards to art, the prices seemed to be on the higher end although there is quite a bit of variety (a few hundred here, a few thousand there). I mostly focused on the art but if you're interested in smaller things, I'm sure you can find cheaper items. I did question some of the pricing -- there was a small dinosaur painting for over 3K! We were told it came from a children's museum. Seemed a bit steep nonetheless. I personally prefer to dig around small antique shops and score treasures for a low price. However, this place is just fun to browse. It's like a museum of ugly and interesting objects. If you're looking for a unique date idea, you've found it. Parents -- I wore my baby in a carrier and we had my toddler in a small umbrella stroller. Worked out fine. There's enough room to navigate without little hands grabbing super expensive objects (just keep a close eye, obviously). After our visit, I read some of the older negative reviews (10 years ago) where folks with strollers were kicked out and not allowed in. I guess they realized how much that policy can hurt them. Glad to see them wise up and start to accommodate families.

What a cool 'hidden find' in the Leander area!…read more It's a bit of a misnomer to call this a 'flea market', but that's a minor point to quibble over. Rather, this is a collection of rather eclectic shops selling mostly used or refurbished items. These range from vintage glass and antique furniture all the way to collectible baseball cards. Everyone I spoke to at one of the stores was friendly and sometimes willing to negotiate a price on an item. I look askance at some of the reviews which claim 'I didn't get a deal'. You have access to the internet, after all. Even on your smart phone. You should be able to find out if the vintage item you're looking for hasn't been cheaply reproduced at Hobby Lobby, Cost Plus or Michael's. The facility still seems to be in development, so a couple notes for folks who may visit close to when I did, in September 2017. 1) The parking lot is a very rough gravel one. Drive slowly and walk carefully, there are ankle-turning rocks here if you wear heels. 2) One of the vendors was having serious issues taking credit cards, so having cash on hand might be a good idea. 3) If you check in on Yelp, there's a free drink offer available at the food trailer. However, there's no food trailer yet - just a well-run inside snack bar. They were kind enough to honor the offer for me, but do them a favor and wait until they get a vendor in before trying to use the coupon. In sum, a definite place to visit if the antique hunting bug strikes!

Makes a nice trip especially if you're looking for the refurbished stuff! I'm a vintage toy collector myself so most of the pictures I took reflect that.
