The larger Dollar Tree seems to have a better selection which is helpful when I'm in a hurry. The cashier isn't ever very friendly but I go out of my way to chat with her and give her a smile. I think the "extended holiday hours" might be getting to her. I will continue to visit both stores.

The staff I encountered were pleasant and welcoming. The store feels clean and comfortable, the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, grab a coffee, and leave with a book for the weekend. I had a very disappointing experience with a manager on duty named Priscilla. I've spent around…read more$500 at this location in just the past few days and came in tonight to purchase four pieces of art. I decided against one but later called back to place it on hold. When I spoke with Priscilla, who claimed to be a manager, she was extremely unprofessional and dismissive. She told me she couldn't hold the piece in a sarcastic tone, and when I asked for her district manager's name and she responded by saying, "You can Google it." This behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your brand. I ask that this situation be addressed, and that Priscilla receive additional training on professionalism and client service. A manager should represent the company with respect and class, not sarcasm and disregard. * Update: After going in today and speaking with Mabel and Sara--who had helped me previously--I received the level of customer service that should always be expected. It was phenomenal! They're both amazing, and truly set the standard for how clients, especially repeat clients, should be treated. Priscilla could definitely learn from their example. It is super convenient for me to pop in especially since there are other big box stores (Sam's), a local barbecue spot next door (Moreno's Barbecue), and even the movie theater (Cinemark) I usually frequent. The selection here is robust and they have a ton of options for everyone including vinyl records, cassettes, VHS, DVDs, paperback and hard back books, a nice long clearance section, and like others have mentioned - nice spots to plop down and hang out/sit for a minute. I come here often to check and browse the vinyl selection. They have a nice set of records that rotate in and out each week. They even have a collectibles box/bin the record area for you to look at that include some super rare records. Their selection ranges from used/previously owned to brand new albums. I have seen some classic rock albums that are reasonably priced. In terms of selling your books or media, I have only been here one time to do so and I came during the week. I had no issues with the offer they gave me as it was fair and the wait for the offer was not long at all! I wasn't even done browsing the store before they had an offer ready for me. Easy parking and super spacious store to come through to and check out. They are tucked away off the side, at the end of the South Park Meadows area, but worth a stop or drop in.
