I'm not sure if the gentleman who checked me out was the owner or a regular employee. Regardless, he did not have a friendly disposition when checking me out. (I am a woman of color for reference) he didn't even greet me which is a simple courtesy. I had to ask him "hey, how are you today" to which he didn't respond and just told me the balance I owed. My fellow friend (white male) checked out right after me and he greeted him! He also asked him how he wanted his items wrapped. (We both had the same items) If the store itself wasn't so nice and full of good merchandise/gifts I would've given it an even lower rating. To management: please know and remind your employees that even a simple hello goes a long way Edit: This seems to be a trend going years back (looking at reviews) with this business and their discriminatory practices. Some flowers were spent and the bouquet lasted four days before having to be trashed. They were given another attempt to do better last Friday, but again failed. I live 15 miles from town but go in to check on family very often, so I pick up the flowers. It's only Wednesday and the flowers are dead. Half of the floral bouquet was pittosporum leaves. They don't mind keeping the $20 delivery charge. I'm very sorry to have to post this review, but they've been given ample opportunity to improve their business practices.

Look - I was just taking out the wilted pieces of eucalyptus/DEAD GREENERY and this random stem just fell out. I spoke to the owner at the flower shop about my concerns and she went to put together a crappier arrangement of flowers to replace the already wilted, GHETTO looking bouquet. They showed me a white rose and said "this is what wilted looks like" it still had bounce and was not wrinkled like these roses. Would I go back? I would not. Not even at my funeral. Sorry ladies. I wish my husband would have saved his money! Overpriced and completely unprofessional. They were scattering to get some flowers to a funeral and it was just rouge and not pretty.
