They had they car towed at their expense from our home in Mandeville to the dealership in Hammond. Their mechanic agreed with Autoville: the car was toast. Ross Downing agreed to purchase it back for 75% of what Zac paid. While it would've been nice to receive the full amount, legally, Ross Downing wasn't required to offer anything. That's 26 days past their 30 guarantee. Ross Downing could have chosen to be a hero and offered some type of assistance. However, despite several calls and numerous conversations with the FB chat bots, the only person we heard from was his opportunistic salesperson. His laughable "solution" was for us to trade the now-inoperable car in for another vehicle which my son would have to finance. My son is early 20s, works 2 jobs and saved to pay cash for this vehicle. He probably doesn't have credit score to qualify for a loan, nor does he want to incur debt. (And frankly, he's distrustful of you now.) I realize Ross Downing is under no legal obligation to help my son. However, there's "right" and then there's "doing the right thing." The latter creates loyalty, repeat customers, and good word of mouth. This experience is the opposite of that. Worst Experience I have ever had with a car dealership. I was attempting an out of state deal with Chris P. He was not communicating at all! I was told feel out application we will pull the keys. That was Wednesday night, Friday morning I had not received any numbers, rates or anything so I called. I told them this was the worst Experience ever they swapped salesmen & all the sudden with hours they accidentally sold the truck that they pulled my credit for. Watch out for Alexis Crovetto Trejo, I had a very bad experience with her. Alexis started sending me emails about looking at cars and then sent an email confirming that I had purchased a car. I have never been to the dealership and actually never even in the state of LA. When I asked Alexis if there might have been a simple typo she told me she never sent the emails and I was mistaken. I forwarded the emails to her clearly showing that they were from her to me and she continued to lie. Luckily I was able to speak with Alexis' manager who said that Alexis did send the emails. I would definitely avoid working with Alexis as it's clear she is a very deceptive person, even in a simple matter like this that turned out just to be a typo that she made. read more

Broke down 1k miles from home. Forced to have someone else put a alternator on my car. Ross Chevy got me in and out with a new alternator installed in less then 1 hour. Amazing. Especially in the awful rain. BUT. The hassle i had to go through to JUST get a alternator installed. NO plugging in the computer to my car. NO scanning the codes. JUST PUT A ALTERNATOR on my car was confusing to them. I was told. Well if this dont fix your charging issue then we will have to hook your car to the scanner. Also tried to tell me it could be my fuse box. JUST INSTALL A NEW ALTERNATOR. I flat tow my 2018 malibu. 443,000 miles now. I have a volt meter and a switch under my seat that bypasses my main battery and runs off my 2ed battery i use when flat towing as the brake booster needs its own battery bc the car shuts off its power inside. SO I KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. when i say just change the alternator and it will fix my issue. 1 hour later. my car was up and charging. Amazing service and speed. Just shut up and listen to the customer. The customer knows your scams. YOU (CHEVY) dont know the customer and there background, Or the cars background. read more

Ross downing chevy, in particular Pat Cannon is you typical lying car dealer. Cannon is holding approx $500 of my money because he charged me too much sales tax even after I informed of the mistake. The alabama DMV refused to register the car because of the overage and the dealer had to send another check. The dealer now is refusing to return the overage. read more

We were having truck issues with our truck while traveling from Florida to Texas and ended up at this dealership. They did everything in the world they could to help us but unfortunately the parts were not available and there were no rentals in the area. We ended up trading our truck. While there, we interacted with a lot of the staff; they all were very friendly and helpful. The manager, sales and finance person were extremely cordial and sympathetic to our dilemma. Absolutely horrible experience! Most dishonest dealership I've ever dealt with. Called multiple times coordinate to go see a vehicle that they said was available. After driving an hour to get there I showed up the truck was sitting in front of dealership with a temp plate getting ready to be driven off. Lied multiples times. When I show they said someone had just signed right before I got there. Anybody that has purchased a car that knows financing takes forever and signing countless papers. Somehow it magically was done in less than 5 mins. Once there they tried to force a completely different truck lying again it was better deal. Charging me more for a truck with less features. Then said had exact truck coming next day. Of course wanted to charge more for less features and truck wasn't even close to same. Dishonest, shady, bait & switch, and will flat out lie to your face. Save your time and money. Take your business somewhere where you'll be treated properly. read more

This could very well be the dumbest service department I have ever done business with. I had a flat tire while in the area I tried to go somewhere locally but they could not remove my tire due to factory installed locking lugs. So I travelled 45 mins during work hours to go to Ross Downing. Once I arrived I told them to remove the locking lugs since I didn't have a socket that fit them, put new lugs back in their place, change the fuel filter, and fix the tire. I was told they would take care of it so I went to the waiting room and waited an hour. At this point they informed me they couldn't I'd the tire it would have to be replaced I told them to go ahead and replace to tire I had to have the truck in working order and needed to get back to work. After waiting almost two more hours I got a phone call saying the truck was ready and I owed 240 dollars. I thought that was a little steep since I had a tire plan I had purchased at a Chevrolet dealer when I bought the truck, but I accepted my fate paid them then took my truck. An hour later while back at work I got a phone call informing me they didn't have my tire size in stock and they would have to order it. I was a little annoyed because as far as I knew my truck was fixed when I left the dealership earlier. I checked my tire pressure to see how fast it was dropping and realized I should install my spare to make it through the weekend. That is when I found out they didn't remove the locking lug nuts. I continued to keep air in the damaged tire and returned Wednesday to get the tire they ordered for me that was suppose to be there Monday. After waiting for two hours I was informed they didn't have the tire they ordered however the same owner had more than one dealership in town and the other dealership had a tire that matched mine. After waiting another hour I was informed the tired had arrived however the person who was sent after the tire grabbed the wrong one and they would have to go get the correct tire. After waiting a little over another hour I was informed the new tire was on the truck and everything should be good to go I signed the paperwork and left. While driving back to work I relayed the series of events to my wife who asked about the locking lugs I informed her I asked them again to be removed however when I arrived at work and checked I found that the locking lugs had been removed but no one thought to install new non locking lugs back in there place even after requesting that on two separate occasions. So now two day of missed work and seven plus hours of waiting time later I have a fixed tire and four missing lug nuts. I will be more likely to set my face on fire than to return to this car dealership for anything. read more

We bought our 2016 Corvette here back in September 2016. Our salesman was Tyler Owens. Everyone was exceptionally nice and professional. They worked with us and gave us a great deal on price and financing. I'm bringing it in for my complimentary oil service today. Still the staff is so nice from the service staff to the sales staff. I have not had one bad encounter with this dealership. It's worth driving 45 minutes...maybe just my excuse to drive the vette..lol. I have used this dealer on many occasions in the past. The service is slow and expensive. The people receiving the car smiles in your face then do not do as requested. I had a car that was damaged in the front. Insurance paid for repairs. These people did the work but put the front end on off centered, painted it then cleared it. I can still feel the clear coat all over the car. They didn't cover the car and now overspray has been on the car for two years. This is a terrible place to bring a car for any body or paint work. Maintenance is not much better. read more

Last time I purchase a vehicle from here. Took 4 hours the first night to get all the paper work together, then got talked into buying some extras. As it was explained to me the 2 different prices, 1 was for a lower end warranty and the higher end warranty. It was made to seem like the higher price included extended warranty, wheel replacement and life insurance. I said to the finance guy for an extra 4-500 I might as will get the extra. Which was not true for 2 of them it was an approx extra 3600. The price that was originally quoted was just the extended warranty. When I returned to pick up the vehicle I told them I would be there around 4 to pick up the truck. I was there approx another 3.5-4 hrs waiting on the finance guy to get a temp plate and all the other stuff. All paperwork had been taken care the first night so i didnt see why I was sitting there so long. Got home and realized I didnt get any copies of the paperwork so the next morning I went back up there sat there waiting on the finance guy again. Finally after about 1 hr I saw him by coffee area hanging so walked over to get what I needed. Very unprofessional. Was told I would get a survey and that has never came either. so here we are. I had been purchasing my vehicles for another local dealer for the past 8 years and I think I made a mistake not going through them to purchase this. If you were trying to win a customer it was a fail. The only Bright spot was my sales guy. Charlie was very nice and professional and I enjoyed our multiple conversations. read more

I was extremely pleased with man working the collision center. I was hit by a state employee and had to deal with the insurance company the state uses for its vehicles. The man working dealt with the rude insurance company for me and was very straightforward with me. I brought my car in and a week later I was told they needed more time to work on it. I was set up in a rental so I didn't mind. When I called the insurance company to tell them I needed an extension on the rental, the agent asked me a million questions I didn't know the answer to. I gave him the number of the collision center and twenty minutes later I got a call back telling me they will be extending my rental. From the moment I walked in, the collision center has been nothing but extremely helpful. read more

my 2018 chevy colorados first issue was shaking at 70 mph, it took the service department 1 month to finally find the problem with tires and not the transmission that they had flushed 3 times and also did some pressured alignment tests so their grasping at air now .during this i asked the general manager to buy back the truck and ill get another one and he said no of course. the second issue was mice that ate my fuel lines that are made from soybean , the service unit had my truck again for a month . this time i was not given a loaner until i raised some hell with the service manager kerri pertuit 2 weeks later . the next day i had a loaner , i also asked kerri pertuit to discount the cost because i was quoted $300 by serviceman George and the next day it was $700 to fix, as you can see that i will never go there again and neither should you . you will experience the same as i did i guarantee it i have written and emailed everyone i could find an email on so it will not be swept under the rug. good luck finding that information because you cant it is setup to keep problems in house and not to be exposed. save yourself time and money and go somewhere else please. read more
