Minor repair to rear bumper. Did good work, from an appearance standpoint. When I picked up the car, I noticed the A/C blowing hot air. OK, no problem, right? I had no control of the A/C, radio and a few other functions. The panel with all of these controls was dead, no lights or anything. I brought this to their attention but the suggestion that the work on the bumper had nothing to do with the A/C. I was an electronic tech so I told them that I would check it out thinking maybe it was a fuse. When I got home, discovered some items that were not working that WERE related to the bumper. At that point, I took it back. They told me to take it to Ford and that they would take care of it and bill them for the services. Ford called me back after repairs were made but told me that Eastside would NOT cover the A/C part of the repair because the bumper would not affect that. On the surface, that would be true. The bumper repair had nothing to do with the A/C 'compressor'. The part that was defective was the electronic module that controls the panel that controls the A/C and radio. $1000 to repair. Eastside would not accommodate. Not only are these guys crooks by not taking responsibility for something that went wrong in their shop but also incompetent necessitating me to take my car to Ford to repair the only electrical items on the bumper that were bumper related. read more
