The owner and his receptionist kept making promises to work on my car for leaking sunroof. I had made multiple calls to schedule an appointment because they kept telling me to call back after a certain date every time I called because they had to talk to the owner for some reason to make an appointment and he was not in. Eventually, they told me to bring the car, they gave the estimate for the sunroof, and then the scheduling the appointment game had started back again! Again, made multiple calls, they said they will do the work, but I had to wait for the owner to get back to schedule the appointment. And when I called once again for whatever time after the specified date, they just proceeded to tell me that they are not going to do the work unless I fixed the bumper as well that was damaged and was completely unrelated to the work that they quoted us for the sunroof because it "ain't worth it" for them to do the work they provided a quote for... they literally said they have a more important work to do and it is not worth it for them. All of that after playing games with us for over a month! And that whole time whenever it rained, the car was filling up with water damaging the interior! The only reason I was trying to see it through because a friend, who is a mechanic recommended them! They were rude on the phone and the owner himself told me that I could have taken the car some place else. Awful experience! Do not do business with them!

In fact upon completion he personally delivered it back to my father at his home on a Saturday. It looks and works better than it did when it came off the showroom floor. After not getting any response for a week, I finally stopped in and was told I needed to schedule a drop off which wasn't for another week. Straight money hungry just wanted to wait a long time so they can get more money to let the car sit in their shop. This place needs to be reviewed and looked into. As I went get my rental car today, the last there told me Gerbers Collision always has complaints, that not long ago Gerber took of a grill and put a new one on the customers car without consent to do so and then was arguing back and forth with the customer trying to convince her how good the "new" grill looked and was refusing to put on her original grill!! The customer had to prove her original grill! I would strongly advise future potential customers to use this place as a last resort and go elsewhere. Then, with less than 5k on the odo, a sweet young lady backs into me in the Racetrac parking lot. No one was hurt, just some broken plastic and dented metal, but the truck was still new, so I knew we needed to take it somewhere special. The insurance company sent me to B Imports for the estimate, but I was so impressed by Jennifer and her husband, Brian, we contracted to have them do the repairs. And boy did they have to work for it! The upgrade package included one-off parts supplied by Rocky Ridge, which meant lots of chasing suppliers for parts, having to work around custom fit parts, matching paint colors, and (of course) dealing with an overly anxious consumer of services...namely, me! I had a trip planned for the Fall with my girls; we were taking the new truck to Colorado to visit the Wolf and Wildlife Center. When I say Brian worked overtime to get the truck ready for us, I'm not exaggerating - they were working up to the last possible minute to get it back to me in time for the trip (we really didn't want to take the little rental USAA had provided all the way there, and back, especially considering the amount of snow we encountered!). But they did it! The truck came back a week before the trip, fully restored, beautiful, and ready to roll. Mostly I want to just say thank you for making sure our ride to the wolves was ready despite all of the shipping setbacks on the various custom pieces, you guys really went above and beyond to make sure my new truck stayed new and our trip went off without a hitch...I'd say 55+ hours of driving in 1 week is a pretty sweet testimony to your hard work and dedication to customer satisfaction - 5 stars all the way!

We simply had to leave a review for the awesome technical and customer service Mike @ PDR provided. We were visiting Louisiana from California and had an door ding during Mardi Gras week. We noticed it during our drive out to Abita Springs and found Mike through a quick Internet search. He was able to take care of us at very short notice and it was easy to find his shop and schedule the work directly communicating with him by text messaging or phone calls. All the 5-star reviews are accurate, folks! Mike was awesome -- very friendly and has a nice, clean waiting room with an animatronic dinosaur for young kids that our 9-year old loved. For the adults, there are plenty of magazines to pass the time while he and his assistants work their magic. We also really liked the beautifully clean and neatly organized shop. Mike clearly cares about his craft. He had lots and lots of high-quality tools and has invested in high-quality detailing chemicals from the likes of Griot's Garage, which I never expected to see in a PDR shop. A bad workman blames his tools, but you can always tell a good workman by the company (of tools) he keeps. I forgot my laptop in the waiting room and we had to return to get it, which was hassle-free. To top it off, Mike was kind enough to give us a discount over the initial price quote as he does not take credit cards and we did quite have the full amount in cash and could not take the time to find an ATM as we were rushing to another engagement.
