I needed to find a new eye doctor after recently moving to the area. I had received an advertisement in the mail from Rosin, so we decided to give them a shot for our family. We booked our appointments and went in. Our initial exams were uneventful - doctor is friendly, offices are clean. My stepdaughter's new glasses came in quickly. I had to call them twice to get my new contacts ordered (the doctor wasn't going to be returning to this office for almost a week when I first called, then they had been "extremely busy" when I called a second time. I picked up my contacts yesterday. At the same time, I dropped off a form from my stepdaughter's school that they needed to be completed. I was promised it would be done by noon today. I asked if I could get a phone call when it was completed, but was again told it would be done by noon. My wife stopped in to pick up the form at about 2:00 today. Not only was the form not completed, they don't know anything about it. The person at the desk informed my wife that she wasn't working yesterday, so she doesn't know where it would be. And, the doctor wasn't in again. So, we are now missing the form, and are looking at another trip to pick it up whenever it is found/completed. Not the end of the world, just another inconvenience.
Professional offices need to understand that it's these details that can make or break them. It's a small office, so I don't know if the office staff is being shuffled between multiple offices, or they employ people for just 1-2 days per week, but too many simple things have slipped through the cracks for me to think about coming back next year. I'll find another place. If you value your time and want to be assured that you won't need to pester the staff to make sure you're getting what you've been promised, I suggest you might, also. read more
