I've always liked this place and enjoyed the food... My favorite thing is the meat, rice and cheese burrito. They have some kind of sauce or flavoring to their meat that I always enjoy. Unfortunately, I went in today and discovered that there prices went up. ($9.89 for a burrito!) In addition, they now charge $1.00 for using your debit card! I get .25 or .50 but a $1.00 seems excessive. (Total was $11 and some change with tax) Merchant services costs are part of the cost of owning a business. The business owner should account for that. As the consumer, I also have to account for that and unfortunately, I will choose to spend my money elsewhere. I ordered a chile rellano burrito, it had boiled pork in it... weird and not what I expected. Also, there was no cheese. A chile rellano burrito with no cheese? I'm pretty sure whatever I got wasn't what I ordered. Never once have I gotten a chile rellano burrito with pork in it. Also, for the price it was really small. I've been coming here for years, one of my fave places. But the last few times I came here I ordered the simplest of simplest burritos...bean, rice and cheese, it's cold. Not just luke warm, but as if they pulled the tortilla out of the fridge and filled it with ingredients that has been sitting on a counter. I don't get it. I also ordered a small side of salsa which I happily paid for (their salsa is great) and the container was less than half full. Come on guys, pull it together. Well unfortunately I can't say much other than the food was pretty good but the meat was very skimpy on the chili Colorado. There were only five very small pieces of meat on the plate and the customer service was pretty bad. We had to constantly repeat ourselves and they still had the order wrong when we got to the window. The order was literally a #2, #13, carne asada burrito, and an order of fries. I told myself I would try not to get food here any longer for the same reason and even when I tried to give it another shot it was horribly disappointing! I try not to give any negative reviews unless it really needs one and have been holding back today was just frustrating. I called today at 10:45 to place an order. I was placed on hold while they take the order of somebody else. After waiting few minutes decided to hang up. I called back again and tried more once again at 11. I got placed on hold again for the same reason, but this time they did pick up the line shortly after. I placed my order around 11:05 AM and they said it would take about 10 minutes. I arrived about 15 minutes later, (11:20)and waited in line to pay for my order. After purchasing my order, they called out my order and said I was here. Which teams are odd, as if they were barely going to make it. I decided to wait for my food and after seeing everybody else's food being handed out for both inside orders and to go orders. I begin to get frustrated. By this time it was 11:40 am. I walked up To The counter After more orders were placed. No one was at the cashier, but both the cashier and the person handing out the orders ignored me for about five minutes. Afterwards, one of the ladies asked me what my number was. I gave her my number and I also let her know that I had ordered it and he was supposed be ready about 20 minutes ago when I called it in. To my surprise, they handed me a bag that had been sitting in the back counter since I came in. They neither handed it to me, nor let me know. They had me waiting there about 25 minutes after I arrived and paid for my order just to hand me my food. Not only what is the service horrible, but their attitude and their lack of caring what is with topped it off. They neither apologized, nor said anything they just handed me my food and pretending nothing happened. This is not the first time it has happened to me, and it was not as busy as to say they were preoccupied. One major flaw of this restaurant is there service as you can see another reviews. But also when I receive my food, it was beyond mediocre. The burritos that I bought one large one small seems like it was a bean and rice burrito seasoned with a sprinkle of meat. The small burrito cost eight dollars and the large burrito cost almost $11. And by the looks of the photos below, the majority of it was beans rice and extra over folded tortilla. The prices are out rages for what you get. I can get an eight dollar our meat burrito about the same size, and containing peer me at a different place. Chicken enchiladas weren't good. The chicken was dry and tasteless. Nothing but chicken inside, no cheese. Side of rice tasted funny. Salsa was good. Beans were good. This place is NOT good. The lady at the counter doesnt greet you or ask what you would like to order, she just stares till you say something. When I did order, she didnt listen to what I said and seemed uninterested in helping me. The food has a low quality. They just throw stuff together. Lastly, they charge $1 for accepting credit cards. Rosie's in Yucaipa is one of my favorite places for Mexican food in my area. The food is always fresh and I love their beans and rice. I judge a Mexican food place by their beans and guacamole and their's is on point! I called my order in about 20 minutes prior to their closing time which is 8pm. I live about 15 minutes away so I hurried there. My order was ready and I was in and out, just like that. I ordered a meat, bean, rice and cheese burrito which was delicious. I do not Recommend this location of establishment I ordered a junior burrito and they gave it to me in an old tortilla as far as cleanliness not very clean either The floors and tables are dirty and they give around the same hot sauce bottles to everybody without sanitizing them or wiping them off and they're not very nice either. They treat you pretty badly. No Hate to these workers. They're just trying to make money but I think they could be a litte bit more nice. read more

I ordered the GT burrito, it was extremely small with a very little amount of meat and on top of that it had cold cheese in the burrito which made the entire burrito cold .. very disappointing ... I recommend going to Jose's or Cucas for Mexican food in Yucaipa Very disappointed .. although the restaurant itself looks nice and was clean. Rosies has been a long-time staple in Yucaipa. It's a difficult market to stand out in with the abundance of quality Mexican food on almost every corner in Yucaipa and Southern California, for that matter. We come to Rosie's for their burritos, and specifically the garbage burrito. The Chile Colorado pork the put in it is obviously simmered all day, and the rice, beans, and cheese, along with their peppery hot sauce, give you bite after bite of well seasoned flavor and texture. The "carne asada" tasted like canned corn beef and it was topped with liquid "guac" and "sour cream." I don't know about you, but I like my guacamole made with real avocados. I've been here a handful of times since I started working at the college nearby. They got my order wrong every single time. It looked perfect on the receipt, but it always ended up being wrong. I like the burrito I got the first time I went so I brushed that small issue with my order aside and went back because the location is convenient. The next few times I went, they didn't put various items in my to go bag. The first time they forgot to add a potato taco even though I was charged for it. The second time I asked for an extra side of guacamole and I paid for it but they forgot to include it. The third time, I asked for deluxe taquitos and got regular ones. This last time, they didn't put any taquitos in my bag. Soooo frustrating! I finally give up. The food isn't worth the hassle. read more

We have a new favorite called the GTO (I think) which has carne asada, fries and guacamole but the time before last I put in order on phone they didn't tell me they were out of guacamole, so it really was not what I ordered. Horrific place to go to eat. Myself and my family were looking for a good place to get some Mexican food and this let me tell you was not the place at all!! The Carne asada looked like it was cooked, cooked again and cooked again after that and then served on your plate. The carne asada tacos were horrible and my son ordered the carne asada quesadilla. Came here for a quick bite to eat when I had to wait to pick up my puppy from the shelter, not familiar with the area so I went to my trusty Yelp App hahaha! I would have never thought to check this place out, it's not really a looker from the outside, but the food is pretty good & pretty cheap! Their corn tortillas were super yummy. Not a fan of their guacamole, it looks like pistachio pudding but very runny. I'm used to having the chunky stuff. The chicken enchiladas were quite tasty, the chicken itself was flavorful! Beans were a bit runny as well. Their hot sauce up at the counter in a giant metal bowl was super yummy! Not spicy enough for me but it had a nice kick. Super quick at having your food ready for you! I would normally give this place 5 stars because the food is awesome. But when we come in for breakfast or even an early lunch the girl who works the front counter is rude. Ask a question about anything, she rolls her eyes and acts like you are taking up her time. and this ain't once....this is every single time we visit! I have tried Rosie's their beans are delicious, their homemade flour tortillas are a true favorite. The customer service is always welcoming. If you ever get the opportunity to come enjoy a bite you wont be disappointed everyone will have their own opinion but if something isn't quite to your likings a calm respectful complaint can get you a better outcome. We all strive for the best. Their quality of food is truly a close to home kitchen. The shredded beef is another favorite, the carne asada is good. I am not a menudo fan but my hubby loved it. It's the close in my range but it's a trip I always willing to take. Oh their foot long burritos are a delight. I ordered one of these and the family ohhed and awed over it. i should preface this by saying that i have been a frequent Rosie's customer for over 6 years. I've had some issues with some cashiers in the past but this has never happened. Two days ago i ordered 4 bean and cheese burritos about 23 or so minutes before closing time. As i continued to wait, 2 other gentleman ordered after me, much closer to closing time, yet left before me. i was staring to get impatient when it reached the 20 minute mark. i overheard the cashier ask for the cooks to make her a burrito... completely forgetting about my 4. eventually... like 4 minutes after closing time... did the cashier finally attempt to acknowledge me and asked what i ordered. when i got up to the counter one of the cooks gave me a weird look, probably upset they had to work 5 minutes past overtime. and i eventually received burritos about 7 minutes AFTER closing time. A total wait time of just under 30 minutes. Later that night I ate the burritos and they were your usual bean & cheese, i planned to save two for my following day's school lunch. The following morning (TMI) i started get the hershey squirts... and wouldn't you know it... i got food poisoned... NOT FUN WHATSOEVER. my girlfriend had some as well, thinking it was something else that made me sick...and WOULDN'T YOU KNOW IT... she's sick too now.
