Two stars only because the doctors working for this practice are great. This review is more…read moreconcerned with their support staff, which is laughably lame, rude, and unprofessional. Let's start with calling the practice. As no one here ever answers a phone, you will be treated to the longest recorded message I've ever had the displeasure of listening to. Leaving a message with staff more often than not accomplishes nothing. Trying to get routine forms for schools, summer camps, etc. is also an exercise in futility. A few years ago, after being ignored by both phone and fax, I simply parked myself in the waiting area and told the staff that I would be there until they provided what I needed. That worked, but who should have to do that? The last straw was waiting for three hours to be seen by a doctor. To be clear, we did not have an appointment - and while this wasn't quite an emergency, going to the ER was an option on the table - but we decided to go to the walk-in clinic at 8:00 AM instead. I think three hours is a bit. barring some extraordinary circumstances. It's a shame, but I am making an appointment for my son at another pediatrician's office as I write this.

This review is for Triste M Coulombe, MD…read more I found out that I was pregnant, so I needed an obgyn. I found her through my insurance and considering she is the only female obgyn on the island I decided to go with her. I called and there was no answer so I left a message. Later that day when I was out they called me back and left a message for me to call them back. The next day I called them back and again left a message. They called back later that day after I scheduled an appointment with a different doctor. So why 1 star? Well unless you have time to sit around and wait for their phone calls good luck. Also is this really a good doctor? I mean I could be 30 weeks along and what if I had a complication and called them to ask about it? I would have to again wait around for them to call me back, not really comforting.

Office staff Rude No show at delivery, Kind of scene from…read morethe movie "Knocked up" No show at post op visit The only thing that worked smooth was the bill arrived quickly. Stay Away. Sorry.

This is a review based from my experience as the male counterpart. My wife and I used Dr Rosenthal…read morefor our first delivery. The office staff is horrible. They don't answer the phone, they all take a lunch break together (they close the office), which seems like a novel idea until you need them, and they are all galavanting holding hands at some bodega somewhere eating sandwiches.. Great.. Lets keep in mind this is a doctors office. The day of our delivery, my wife was having health issues that required them paging dr Rosenthal. We heard nothing. We called 5 TIMES!! Still nothing back. Finally her water broke, and we went straight to the hospital. Of course during our delivery Dr Rosenthal WAS NOT there, and did not come in till several days later to check on my wife. He's less then informative during these visits. He scheduled my wife for a 6 week check up after the delivery. 1 week before she was supposed to go in, he canceled it, and said he has a emergency surgery.. Too bad right? Hell no. That is not ok. Correct me if i'm wrong but it's not an emergency surgery if it's scheduled a week out. If I could give this guy zero stars I would, he doesn't even deserve one star. There was not a single thing that I could say about this DR. that would encourage anyone to go use him.

Long story short: I would NOT recommend this practice. I was frequently frustrated with the wait to…read morebe seen as it was usually 30-60+ after my appointment. I did feel that once I was seen all my questions were answered, however, I never had more than a couple simple questions, but I feel that if I did, the time would have been taken to answer all of them. I thankfully scheduled my appointments on my days off since there is NO way you could schedule an appointment during an actual work day and be seen on your lunch hour or something to that effect since the wait to be seen took so long. My first pregnancy was in another state and ended in a miscarriage so I was looking for a practice that was more understanding of "a nervous mother" as Ms. Tirrell referred me to. This is not the practice for that; I felt more like an insurance claim. What really made my husband and I realize that this practice was not for our family was when we received the results of my Panorama (free cell DNA Screening) when we were told there was a possibility that our baby boy had Trisomy-18. I asked what that meant and I was told, "Don't worry about it" when I pressed for more information, as I feel a medical personal should have been prepared to give in this type of situation, I was told "Things like this always happen to my nervous mothers.....don't go and Google it either." With ZERO information on what my son may have of course we Googled this information the moment we got home. How can parents be given such concerning news and Ms. Tirrell not be prepared with medical journals or informational handouts regarding this disorder. I went back four weeks later for a scheduled check-up, after being in the exam room for 60 minutes past my appointment time I walked out, informing the receptionist that I was unable to wait any longer. I never heard back from the office wanting to reschedule. I was left feeling that now they knew my baby was going to die (Trisomy 18 is labeled "incompatible with life" and they usually end in stillbirth in the second or third trimester) there was no need to check on me. Again, I felt like I was just a source of income and since the reasons of me needing to be seen would soon end what was the point of checking on me. I am appalled at the way Ms. Tirrell handled my pregnancy. I'm sure this review, if they ever read it will come as a surprise though as I never once expressed my frustration, which I regret.
