Easy in and out in a great location. Pumps work just fine. Some people complain about unclean water in terms of the squeegee for cleaning your window. Never really found this to be a problem and was there earlier today. The water was clean enough to clean my back window. Not a discount gas station, but the price is seem to be in line with the other places around. The store has a variety of items at the price you would expect to pay at a convenience store. I will say that the people behind the counter inside are rarely welcoming, but they're not rude so not going to downgrade this place because of not getting a super friendly welcome. read more

It's difficult to pay $.60 more per gallon of this gas at this station when they can't even provide you with clean water or a working windshield squeegee. That's $12 at least per full up that I'm paying and they can't provide you with that! I'm one person of many, how many squeegees can they buy with the price they charge for gas above other competition? Not stopping here again. read more

Terrible customer service. Do not park here. Parked here for 5 min while stopping by the store and somebody door dinged my car. Owner was not helpful in providing any footage to myself or the local sheriff. Stated his system only saves footage for 30 minutes and turned us away but that sounded like a poor excuse. Just recently discovered this gas station. It's really pretty inside (tho a bit cramped as well) with a really nice selection of drinks and snacks quite a few you won't commonly see at other gas stations. Theyre always playing some weird techno music stuff inside the store. It also helps that there's a few food trucks located right outside the station as well. read more

Nice little neighborhood gas station/market with good selections. But it reminds me of a touristy market in SEA, no prices displayed. They'll charge about 30/40 percent more than most places. Really like the place, besides the ridiculous prices when they ring you up. read more

The only reason to come near this place is for the food trucks on its property. If you want to buy snacks or beverages be prepared to pay some cash. Perhaps because it's in rosedale and close enough to the hospital they feel they can charge extra for everything. And gas is always the most expensive here like maybe they want everyone to feel like they are in California I guess. If your looking for a bottle of wine under 20$ good luck - even central market has deals. I can't imagine with inflation what the cheapest bottles of wine now cost here. Hands down my favorite market/gas station. Is it on the pricey side, yes. Is it awesome? You betcha! You really need to take your time and explore every corner of this place, it's packed with tons of goodies. From artisan cheese selections, to the higher end champs bottles. After spending $55 at a gas station for quarantine snacks (grocery stores just closed) a few days ago, we ate a LovePuppies brownie and noticed it was very dry. Then we saw that the package said something like "delivered on 0630" as the only sort of expiration date. Since it was a brownie we didn't worry too much about it. Today, we ate the $17 Casa chocolate bar and noticed it expired over two months ago! I tried to email them but there is no email address on their website. Hopefully they will see this and realize they need to stay on top of their food's expiration dates. read more

While driving around checking out what is new in the area I spotted an Exxon sign and quickly looked at my fuel gauge, and decide to fill up. This is an old station called Rosedale Market but looked very upper scale with not ugly beer or cigarette advertising on it. I did not go inside to check it out. I rated this place 4-stars due to the fact their system was not setup to use with the Speedpass+ app. I had to manually enter my Plenti number and slide my credit card hoping no one secretly hid an illegal card reader. I typically don't rate gas stations, but I have been seeing this one on the way home quite a bit and have always thought it looked much nicer and safer than typical gas stations. The inside of this place was super cool. A bike hanging from the ceiling along with other decor, larger arrays of snacks, Jeni's ice cream fridge up front that's completely packed, tons of varieties of drink, and more. As are most gas stations we overpaid for everything because this was the only place open at 11PM. I don't believe you can rate a gas station on pricing unless it's ungodly so based purely on the atmosphere, large variety of items and cleanliness I definitely give this place a 5 star rating. I decided to stop for gas, snacks and the inevitable restroom before my long trip to New Braunfels and discovered this gem of a gas station. Or rather, market. There's a specific distinction that you'll understand right away when you walk in. Rather than go on a lengthy and colorful description of all the wonders, I'll just list em out: Imperial Sugar Sodas, Austinnuts, Kale Chips, Fancy beer glasses (chimay, etc), katz and ruta maya coffee, soap people soap, luna and clif bar, fancy spices and local honey, rice and soy milk, coconut water, omas garlic, jones and maine root sodas, lots of wine, lots of fancy beer incl on that has 23% alcohol, organic snacks, crickettes (and larva, and ants. Yes, edible bugs), reel popcorn, hail merrys, amy's burritos, pizzas and indian frozen food. Oh and gas. The bathrooms were clean, the game was on, the dudes behind the counter were great and if you check in on yelp, you get 5% off! A total win of a stop and a fun place to surprise people with! Also note that these things are not inexpensive. I'm not sure if there's a significant markup or if they're just pricey products but make sure to check the prices before plunking down a bag of kale chips and finding out they're $6. read more

Earlier today I asked the man behind the counter where the restrooms were and as he was counting money he looked at me and didn't respond. After a few moments he said, "sorry no restrooms". Then I went to the back corner and found the restrooms myself.... When I came back out I asked him why he stated there were no restrooms and he said "FOR CUSTOMERS ONLY..." I love this market/gas station. They carry a huge variety of local goods like Rio Bites, Tiny Pies, Epic bars, Dos Lunas cheese and so much more. The wine selection is rather impressive and they also carry local brews. This market is across the street from my aesthetician's salon and where a take barre classes. I usually stop in to grab a quick snack or lunch to take back to the office. My shopping list usually is Thunderbird bars, Questbars, Topo Chico, Amy's Kitchen roasted polenta, Pop Chips and chicken jerky Epic bars. If you forgot to BYOB(ag) they offer sturdy plastic reausable bags sporting a longhorn. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Rosedale Market. They have one of the best selection of beer in Austin, especially considering their size. They carry so many different types of beer, not only your average brew, but some of the rarest and more limited brews too. The store is always clean and the shelves are never empty. Nice, new, clean convenience store with some good snacks and decent beer selection, although for beer there are quite a bit better selections from some of the big stores like Specs Central Market and Whole Foods as well as the other craft beer convenience marts in town such as Sunshine mini mart, east 1st grocery, the Flag Store in Hyde Park, etc... They absolutely do not have one of the best craft beer selections in Austin, and they have a very limited selection of singles compared to some others, if that's what you're looking for. They do have some harder to find beer which they announce on their twitter account, so that is a plus. If you live in the neighborhood, I'd definitely stop in, but its not the a destination type store with the exception of them getting in one of those rare beers they tweet about. read more

I am so mad about my experience I was trying to buy whipped Crème and the label said it was 3$ when I went to check out he said my total was 5 dollars and I gave him my card and 2$ cash and he took more money out of my account then the money I owed and said I didn't have enough and then I told him I wanted a re found and he was so rude and told me it took a while that place is a scam never shop there I am not happy with my experience at all read more

Holy beer selection, Batman! Someone had told me to check this place out since it's right around the corner from me, but I had no idea this tiny little convenience store would be so ridiculously well stocked, I was truly impressed. True it's not far from central market, but if you're in any kind of hurry and/or need gas, there's no better place in the area to pop in and pick up wine and craft beer. I've never actually stopped here to get gas, but the grocery/market is GREAT! They carry so many cool items here. You can get everything from sausage egg & cheese croissants in the morning (they are actually pretty tasty), to vegan snacks, locally made sodas, freshly brewed local coffee, great beer and everything in between. Expired chocolate all over the store. I was initially impressed by their massive fine chocolate selection. The first time I bought some I was disappointed to find the chocolate to be dry and old, and sure enough it was expired. Oh well, simple mistake. The next time I bought some there and had the same experience, whoa! Now I was pretty sure they knew exactly what they were doing. The next time (this month), I checked every chocolate bar I was interested in. Every bar I looked at, except for those immediately below the front counter, was expired! In fact, one bag of chocolate covered nuts had a "best by" date of April 2018, which was 2.5 years ago! Are they strategically buying old chocolate from suppliers at no-doubt lower prices and then snowing their well-heeled customers into paying top dollar for old stuff that a grocery store would never keep on their shelves? Shameful. During my last visit I pointed all of this out to them and they just nodded their heads in minor acknowledgement. Frustrating. Buyer beware! read more

I wasn't a big fan of the place. I went here because of the high ratings. I went in on May 28th 2013 in the afternoon and I tried to use the men's restroom but it smelled horrible and had no toilet paper. When I told the clerk about it he did not care or make any attempt to put some in. The store itself is fairly clean so I'm guessing that and the variety of items stocked is why it has such a good rating. But if you can't keep your bathroom stocked and clean you fail as a gas station in my book. And to have such poor customer service just adds to the horrible experience. read more

For a gas station this place is pretty great. Its located on the South East corner of Burnet and 45th streets. In the morning they have breakfast tacos. There is also a pretty decent assortment of beer and wine. They recently upgraded the ATM machine which has a lower fee than any other ATM Ive used. It also has the option to review your balance rather than get a print out. I love walking in to this place because 9 out of 10 times there'll be club music playing like Darude or Iio. Hilarious. Dont try to fill up with pumps that have plastic bags over them...these are broken. Some douche came in complaining about something really small and no big deal about the pumps, but the guys at the counter were pretty chill and helpful about it. The bathrooms are also really clean. Driving all over this country has made me appreciate even the smallest attempt at keeping things nice. They do a great job. Some refrigerated foods and a couple aisles of standard gas station snacks and needs. Theres also an Ice machine out front, and if you get gas at the top of the hour you can enjoy the chuch bell music from the church next door. read more

This has been my friendly neighborhood beer supplier for a while now. I work at the flying saucer and am so glad to have a gas station close by to grab my dank craft beer after work. I noticed a sticker for the app TalkBin, where you can send a message asking the store to carry something, or to compliment/complain. I sent a message asking if they could carry soy creamer for the coffee bar. About an hour later, the manager texted me back, and said they were going to try to get them in small packaged containers. Really? I didn't think I would ever see that, much less get a personal response in an hour. Just one more reason to love this little corner market. read more

I'm a huge beer nerd, and Rosedale Market has one of the best selections in Austin. There are always a number of specific beers I've been hunting down for *years* that I've never seen anywhere but here, which is amazing. Even better, Daniel -- who is friendly, knowledgeable and fun -- takes order requests and really knows his stock by heart, backwards and forwards. Anytime he's working, we spend about ten minutes shooting the breeze about beer, comparing notes and trading recommendations. It really feels like a friendly neighborhood corner store.
