I would like to believe fate led me to dine at Roseadah's. I am not from the Auburn area and had no clue where to stop and eat. What I did know is that I preferred not to dine at a chain restaurant. Low and behold, I took a right turn and ended up Mattie Street, and to my left was a very unassuming green "house." Once I approached and read the sign, I realized it was a restaurant. The welcome sign stating that this was a farm to table establishment was all I needed to convince me to walk in. Upon entering Roseadah's, I instantly felt very comfortable. This eatery has a very laid-back, cozy vibe that I particularly enjoyed. My family and I were the only ones dining at the time, so I had the opportunity to truly soak in this lovely eatery. The ladies who assisted us were both so very wonderful. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who's also the amazing chef, and her personality alone won me over! Now, on to the food. Delicious, scratch made appetizers and entrees. I enjoyed every bite! Not only did we enjoy our meals while there, we also decided to order some food to take home for dinner. My personal favorite was their duck bacon wontons, so good! We also drooled over their freshly breaded mozzarella sticks. (we are fried cheese fanatics). When you visit, definitely do yourself a favor and order those appetizers before your main meal. If I didn't have a reason to return to Auburn, I certainly do now. read more

Was outside of Syracuse and both my business partner and I were hungry. He had heard a little bit about this place and we decided to give it a try together. The restaurant is located in a residential section, not on the main drag so GPS comes in pretty handy and finding this place. We both had the fried haddock sandwich and it was delicious. The fish was fresh, well prepared and delicious. It was on a big roll, and it came with fries or onion rings. I chose the onion rings. Had to ask for extra tartar sauce, and I add on hot sauce, but it was absolutely delicious. Finished it off with an iced tea. Spoke to the owner and they fly in fresh fish twice a week. This place is amazing!!! The burger here are spot on. I have never had to send back a singular burger. They cook it just how you want, no more, no less. The service-spectactular. The waiters are nice and funny. They don't check in with you too much, so you don't feel annoyed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's warm, has a warm lighting. Went on a Friday looking for good fish in Auburn and came upon this lovely little place. Fish and fries $8 and a side of cole slaw $4 was delightful. Fish was yummy, the fries nice and crunchy, cole slaw a little sweet and sour so great taste overall. Service was awesome and very friendly. Highly recommend!! read more

Visiting the Fingerlake region from NJ. We've been up this way several times over the past 15 years. We had never tried Roseadah's before and we certainly wish we had! I want to give MORE than five stars. The restaurant itself is very inviting, squeaky clean and service is impeccable! We ordered the mozzarella sticks to start. I forgot to take a picture when they first arrived, so we were down to three by the time I remembered. We've never had them made like this before, they were hot, crisp and the cheese pull could have stretched to over a foot! Very, very good. Had the fried haddock w/onion rings and coleslaw. I've been wanting to come here for a couple years now, and finally I made it and it was worth the wait. The food was so delicious, the staff is so attentive and nice and the owner is such a wonderful person. A very nice menu, consisting of what you'd expect in a diner but the taste is amplified by 10! Every place I have lived, I make it a point to find the best pizza and burger in the area. I wasn't expecting to have a new favorite burger but wow, that was one amazing burger. We had lunch there today and we had the bacon bleu burger and they were delicious fresh hand made patties 7oz. We want to go back and try their prime rib. It's kind of off the beaten path but very easy to get to. It has Very clean and friendly atmosphere.
