    Absolutely premium experience! I've been getting my nails done for years - just moved to Newport and this nail spa did not disappoint. I could not be happier! Kelly was also the most professional and KIND nail tech to everyone in there. Plus, my builder gel mani is perfection!

    I will never stop recommending Rose Perfect. I've been seeing Kelly for at least 6 months and my nails have never looked or felt better. My manicures last 3+ weeks and I get constant compliments on them. I truly can't say enough good things about Kelly and the whole Rose Perfect team.

    We should have gotten up and left when the nail tech didn't know how to do a coffin nails shape. The tech kept having to ask what to use and seemed like she didn't want to or know what to do. She asked someone else to show her a coffin nail but we would have been waiting 15/20 minutes for that person to show her, so went with an almond shape instead. Nails came out awful. One thumb could have used a lot more shaping, well all the nails could have, but thumb looks lumpy. One nail even has a bump in it. Someone else had to come do the design. The design, goodness it would have been better if they said they couldn't do the design. Instead it looks like a little kid did the design. Would not recommend.

    Terrible service! Non-English-speaking people; therefore, she could not understand me when I said it hurt!! I went in for a pedicure! Before deciding which pedicure I wanted, the lady said, "Regular pedicure"! I asked what the difference is between a regular pedicure and another! I had no luck obtaining an answer! She didn't understand what I was asking! That should have been enough for me to leave! No, I sat down. The water was so cold I jumped and made a noise ‍ she was very aggressive in handling my feet! She cut my nails slanted, and she cut me on my pinky! Let's say it was the worst pedicure I have ever had!! It's not what I wanted on a Friday afternoon after a long week!! It was supposed to be relaxing! Most importantly, I would have liked to choose the type of pedicure I wanted!!!

    I would recommend Rose to anybody! It was a rainy day and she took me in last minute! She is super polite and you get exactly what you ask for!

    An overall 2.75 star review. Parking is shared with adjacent businesses in a strip mall like area along a busy street. As a first time customer, it is not comforting when I ask for a list of services, you tell me that you'll tell me later how much my service will be. If you raise your prices for whatever reason, it should be something the customer can reference, not based on who's aware of the increase and the new amount. It then becomes subjective and not the standard. Plenty of nail polish colors to select from for your pedicure or manicure. The issue is, they have nail polish that has a surcharge since it is considered "long wearing". If this is my first time here, how am I to discern which is the standard price polish if they're all grouped together? In addition, let the customer know before you apply so that they can make an informed decision and not experience surprise at check out from undisclosed fees. Spacious and clean, I was greeted upon entering. I do dislike if you're sitting in the back of the salon yelling at me up front. I purposely didn't reply so that she could get up and come close to interact with me. My preference is if you're talking to me, talk to me and not the entire salon. There was a brief wait before being instructed back to the pedicure chairs. The lady who prepped the station was nice and I truly wished she had been my technician. Instead, some other lady sat down and asked if I had chosen my color and began clipping my toenails without inquiring if that's what I wanted. I had to intervene when she began using the file and buffer aggressively across my toes and nipping me a lil bit. I asked her what she was doing and she simply looked up and began again. The process was sterile (not in a hospital kinda way but devoid of interaction). At that point I realized that she or the shop was more focused on quantity and not quality of service. The nail polishing process was sloppy. She spilled polish on me a few times and instead of using something. To proper remove it, she used her thumbnail and later followed it up with an applicator brush with nail polish remover to clean up the mess. This was due to not blotting the brush before applying the polish (base coat, polish and then top coat). If you take your time this is something totally avoidable. It was to the point where polish was in between my toes and getting on my own sandals. This frustrated me. I went up front to sit under the UV light and fan to ensure my polish was dry before departing. If not, you'll notice air bubbles or the chance of smudging is higher. I sat for 15 minutes and noticed a lot of people coming near me to scan a QR code. I look at it and they encourage patrons to pay via Venmo. They charge $2 if you want to pay by credit card but the preference is cash payments. I agree that credit card fees for merchants has increased but they need to have this information listed at eye level at the register for better awareness of what is expected. I asked to check out since no one seemed worried that I had been waiting. After being told my pedicure would be $43, I inquired why. She said because I selected a long lasting polish. As a newbie to your salon, it would be helpful if you had told me this prior to application and checkout. I told her I wasn't paying it and she told me she was just busy and could I just pay. Nope, I got time today. The guy who sits near the front tells her to charge me the listed price. See my paragraph above for the problem of not having a current price list. He said I'll have to pay extra next time. Wrong! This will be my first and last time at your establish. So the listed price was $38 which seems high for the level of service rendered. To be done, I paid cash and carried on smartly. I had high hopes for this spot. Realizing that I won't get the level of service I'm willing to pay for and deserve, I'll add this place to my one and done list and chalk it up as a lesson learned.

    The nails aren't the worse but the fact that they were $75 for short gel acrylic is insane and boggles my mind. I moved here because I am in the military, I used to live in San Diego and would pay $45 for short nails and $70 for longgggg acrylic nails with design before I had joined the military. The workers were nice, and I don't know if it's all of Rhode Island that charges this price considering this was my first time getting my nails done here, but I can't justify paying $75 + $12 tip for these short nails.

    Best salon on all of aquidneck island and beyond. Anna is amazing. She takes her time and does impeccable work. I'm always impressed with how natural the acrylic comes out. Never thick and always great color recommendations. Fantastic pedicures and beautiful art details for nails if you want it . The salon is relaxing and clean. Rose and all the staff are friendly and personable and rose will remember your name if you've been there twice or 20 times.

    I'm not sure where the low reviews are coming from, but I have had nothing but amazing experiences at this nail salon. Rose is an absolute delight, she always remembers her clients & their stories. Rose has been doing my nails for almost a year now & even though our family moved out to Warwick, I'll still trek to the island once a month to see Rose. When Rose does my dip manicure... IT LASTS! Weeks longer than it needs to & definitely longer than what I've received from other salons on the island. If you negative reviewers haven't tried Rose yourself, I recommend you give her a try. She will completely turn your world around! I've also seen Tina & Michael do amazing work, too. Always try a new place twice, people!!

    Just went rock climbing w acrylics on and they still look perfect. Sturdiest nails around!!
