I came in for a pedicure and was not at all pleased. The nail polish was uneven and sloppy; my boyfriend asked if I did it myself. To be fair, I was in a hurry and didn't ask to have it fixed. Although, I shouldn't have had to point out that it needed fixing, as it was bad enough my bf noticed. I plan to give this place a second chance. They took their time and did a very thorough prep, so hopefully the shoddy paint job was just a fluke! read more

Love it here!! Staff is so sweet!! Usually Nicky (Vickys husband) does my nails :) but both are amazing! Pedicures too the young girl is very nice and the older woman I have heard is amazing but have yet to have her! I go here for my fills, pedicures and any of my nail needs. I used to go to the swansea mall for pedicures at least but after all of the horror stories about how dirty they are I am petrified. Plus, I would rather give the money to Vicky and her salon as she deserves it! Will never go anywhere else! I recommend making an appointment even if its for a fill..they get really busy! But walk ins are welcome and I do walk in frequently when my mind decides its time for a fill and I haven't booked yet! Here is my latest look. thank you Vicky!! read more

Was so disappointed by this place. Heard great things by a few people so decided to try it out for a fill. Went in around 10 on a Monday morning and there were only 2 girls doing nails (Vicki and one other tech). Was told to pick a color so I didn't think it would be a long wait. Well an hour and a half later I was finally seen (I should have left at this point but was already here) no apologies or anything but whatever. Anyway, the tech starts on my nails and I can tell she is new there. She constantly kept stopping on my nails to talk to other nails techs and when I told her I wanted almond shape she had no idea what I meant (the shape did come out somewhat decent) A couple of my nails she had to take the polish off and start all over. Also, didn't have me pay before she started to paint my nails so I had to wait until the were dry and for Nick to come over to tell him I hadn't paid, because she was doing a pedicure. Overall a disappointing and unpleasant experience. I'll stick to my usual place. read more

This is the worst pedicure I have ever gotten, I actually don't review many things ever but I was so unhappy with this that I felt the need to write. Firstly this place is called "Vicky" nails now so there's that. Secondly, I had a pedicure that took an hour and 25 minutes and the woman made two of my toes bleed, she filed them with what looked like a mini dremmel tool and caused them to be extremely rough, then she spent so long trying to cut off dead skin, she went into the sides of the nail bed and cut into parts that arent supposed to be cut. She convinced me to get the "delux" pedicure which is basically salt scrub and oily lotion rubbed on your legs with a hot towel. It was nothing special. Then she used one grating tool for the dead skin on my feet and that was about twenty seconds per foot, she did nothing to remove any dead skin past that, and left my feet feeling worse and more rough than when I went in. The polish was done quickly and sloppily and none of the toes are the same shape. The best part however, was when I was leaving and went to pat being changed 35$ when the advertised price is 30, and having no sign indicate otherwise, then having the woman shout at me across the store ( I mean really there was only another woman in there but it is the point) that she needed my PIN number and to tell her it... out loud... in front of everyone (or the possibility of everyone I suppose). It is so disappointing, and I would not waste your money here. I've been coming here for years even before the new owners, this is not the first time that's happened the owner starts doing my fill and then left me waiting and starts someone else today I had it enough and told him I'm sorry but if you can't finish I'm just leaving because I have an appointment to go to and instead of apologize his rude as hell.
