If you're looking for an angelic mani/pedi at the eleventh hour, Angel Nails is there for your nail…read moresalvation. Booking two spots just 30 minutes prior a desired appointment time is priceless...as are the prices (nearly), clean tools, massage chairs and excellent services. As mundane as it may seem, one of the biggest perks of Angel Nails is the working array of massage chairs that customers sit in whilst having their toes poked, prodded and painted. Salons at this price level are usually rife with non-working "massage" chairs with remotes missing buttons or marked "out of order," so it's a pleasant happening that these chairs work to their fullest extent. After all, what's better than a mechanical back massage and real foot reflexology? The nail color selection is nearly endless, and its vastness will probably encourage you to go a bit wild, try a new color layering possibility...or even a new color. With vibrancies ranging from neon to demure, from shimmery to opaque, every persnickety customer will find his or her shade.

While I am very happy with the way my brows and upper lip turned out, the process was more painful than normal. Lynn was very slow, almost timid during the process. I almost asked her to go a bit faster, as it would hurt less. Also, she did not ask me how I wanted my brows shaped, so I made a point to let her know.

I received this as an anniversary present. He booked two days of treatments - a hot stone massage…read moreand a hydrating facial on day one and manicure and pedicure on day two. When I arrived at the spa on day one, the receptionist brought me into the locker room and gave me a key. There were two different size robes and three different sizes of "slippers" (which were actually flip flops). I changed, put my stuff in the locker, and put the key in the robe pocket, then went across the hall to the "relaxation room." It sure is a fancy name for a waiting room, but it was a fancy waiting room indeed. Ice water with lemon, hot tea, trail mix, and piles of magazines were available. My massage therapist, Francesca, came to get me and brought me to the massage room. The hot stone massage was excellent. The music played was very soothing and the scents used were relaxing. If you've never had a hot stone massage, I highly recommend it. I actually prefer it to a standard massage. After it was done, Francesca brought me back to the relaxation room to wait for my next service. Colleen came to get me for my hydrating facial, my first time getting one. Apparently a spa facial is a bit more involved than the at-home mud masks that I've always bought. It started with a back scrub and moisturizing, followed by a hair mask and a head massage, then the face treatment, which felt like it was a dozen different treatments - cleansing, scrubbing, moisturizing, etc. My favorite part was a peppermint-scented face scrub that smelled heavenly and tingled my skin. Day two was a luxurious manicure and pedicure with Alaina. She was super friendly and the treatments were great. I was looking through the nail colors and couldn't find just what I was looking for...Alaina came back from another room with JUST the right color. Which was amazing, considering it was a glittery red I never would have picked, but just felt like I needed. The treatments included a scrub and a paraffin dip, along with all the usual manicure steps (filing, polishing, etc.). The pedicure room was super comfortable and the chair had a massager in it. After the manicure and pedicure, I was brought back to the relaxation room to wait for my nails to dry. The services were fantastic. I would definitely come back, perhaps for a girls' weekend. One neat thing - tip is included in the bill. Some people may not like that they automatically add a 20% tip, but for me it saved me the awkward post-service fumbling for cash and desperately trying to do math. This way, I enjoyed my services and then was on my way, still relaxed and math-free.

To start; I am very picky about massages, probably because I myself am trained in bodywork! I was so impressed- from the moment I arrived, to the zen waiting room, the robs, tea, and ambient music! Catherine literally was amazing! I normally opt for longer sessions, but she got a lot done in an hour and really listened to what my body needed more of. I really recommend her if you can get her! She did a top notch job.
