I am a regular at Rose's and try to always schedule my appointments. Otherwise, walk-ins have to wait until scheduled patrons get serviced. (Seems fair to me!) I get a dip manicure and a pedicure every three weeks. I love the ladies who work at Rose's- very friendly and they get to know their customers. They are very good at their jobs. I often get complimented on my nails- they look so great when freshly done and stay looking great for several weeks. They are very gentle with my feet, which can be sensitive at times. My first time going there for a pedicure, I received a nail fungus. When I preceded to let the manager know her exact words were "what would you like me to do" .... They are very rude there but was the only nail shop that was empty which is the only reason I stayed. I showed her my toe and she preceded to tell me it wasn't a fungus. Stopped in while running errands for a quick mani/pedi. Staff was friendly and inviting! I was shocked to receive THE BEST PEDICURE EVER!!! I'm a huge critic on pedicures being from AZ and always wearing our toes out and haven't found the best until now... this pedicure was nothing short of AWESOME!!! I've been coming here for a while now and I'm glad I found out about this nail salon I love it, never disappoints! Everyone's so nice and friendly especially the owner who's always sweet and accommodating. Hannah usually does my nails I love her work and she always takes care of me. I get dip powder over my natural nails and they have plenty of colors to choose from. I've gone to other salons where the product would peel off too fast or my nails would break but thankfully I haven't experienced that ever since I started coming here. They use good products which helps keep my nails last long and grow longer. Also, getting the perfect nail shape isn't easy I've had that problem in the past, but Hannah always nails it. No nail salon in Metairie I've ever been to (and I've been to A LOT over the years) would help me out. They ALL would say it's too hard. ...the whole experience at this salon was totally bizarre... I paid for a pedicure and manicure. When I got up to wash my hands in the middle of my manicure, I was heading back to my seat to finish my service and someone else was in my seat getting worked on by the nail technician that had been doing my nails... so I had to wait for another one to be available... then I accidentally chipped my paint job after finally getting my manicure... the new nail technician immediately rolled her eyes at me and sighed about 5 times... and nearly refused to help me repair my mistake, despite being profusely apologetic. Just left here and couldn't even allow these people to even start on my nails! I came in with my boyfriend while it was still steady definitely not busy. I asked for gel polish and the woman then yells across the room it's additional, who's her is fine I already know that because I only get gel polish. So as I sit in my chair letting the water fill up, I ask if my boyfriend can sit next to me because there was an empty seat next to me. The woman about to start appeared to not have an issue with it but the tech next to her rudely interrupted and said no, then they began to speak in another language to each other, after they debated on giving me an excuse of " there's an appointment coming in soon" At that moment, I told my technician nevermind is like to cancel and so the pettiness started. One woman across the room said I'd have to pay for cleaning the chair ( because somehow after sitting in it for 10 min it became "dirty") I scoffed and said ok so you're saying I'm dirty lol I made your chair dirty??? She responds with a YES! After my most definite no she said I had to pay for water ( meaning the water she uses to fill up the foot tub) I said you're out of your mind to think I'm paying for water. And if that wasn't enough she then said I had to pay for the foot liner for the tub! I just grabbed my boyfriend and left! I went there to get 3 nails repaired and the lady said it's gone be a long wait in a very rude way!They only had 2 people in there so I said well can You just glue them down and I had bandaids on my fingers so she gave me the glue and told me to do it my myself and I asked if she had some scissors she said no like how the hell you don't have scissors it's a nail shop, meanwhile I'm taking the bandaids off she come snatch the glue but hint I was the only black person in there. read more

The pedicure is weak at best. No options for any upgrades. Standard pedicure would be an upgrade. barely massaged feet and no calf/leg involvement. No beverage was offered (not even water). Scrub, hot towel, lotion, polish, done. If you're looking for no frills & someone who turns off the massage chair to get you up (with no one waiting) then by all means. I called in and they gave me a 6pm appointment for nails amd pedicure. They took me at 6:35. The nail tech rushed through everything. Barely spoke to me the entire time. The pedicure massage was awful! I felt like I was on an assembly line. I asked for almond shaped acrylic nails. Even showed her a picture. The nail tech ends up just getting up, grabbing her purse and leaving after I sat back down after washing my nails to be painted. She said nothing to me. She just left out the door. Someone else painted my nails. The shape and paint job is awful. They are not almond shaped. I even had glue or something way passed my cuticles I had to peel off when I got home && I did not receive massage with manicure like the other customers. read more

During my pedicure, the tech cut my nail bed causing pain and bleeding. My toe still hurts, and I am concerned that I might get an infection.
