Love this place , King has been doing my nails for a few years always professional and is one of the only nail salons that has done my nails and I've not had a issue with them breaking or coming off. My schedule is very hectic King is awesome with getting me in last minute. Has even came in on his day off to help me out. With this being said my time is limited and king is a master at what he does , he's fast and does my nails to perfection. I'm very picky with the way my nails look , he's wonderful dealing with my extra demands If I could give a 10 star I would. I know many people who also visits Kings nail salon and they love him too. I stopped here a few days ago with a friend to get a nail fixed. I wasn't near my normal spot and this was really the only place around and open. The guy working did a good job and he was super friendly. My only issue is how filthy this place was. There was dust covering everything. The nail polish in the front case had sat so long it was all completely separated and you couldn't even see what color it was anymore. There was just stuff sitting out everywhere, no organization at all. Boxes of old polish and food sitting all over the tables and stacked on the floor and desk. Outdated dusty decor sitting on drying stations and chairs. I became a little worried about the tools and towels he was using on me because Im not completely sure how clean they were. I shop at the Meijer location that this salon is located in frequently, and its such a nice clean and organized store, so I'm not really sure how this place has stayed in business so long? read more

King has been doing my nails since my mom would bring me in when I was little. I'm now 22 and getting married. He's a very busy person and an extremely hard worker, there's no one I would rather see for my wedding nails. Today he stayed very late for me to make sure I would have time and no interruptions. They should be shut down. Nothing is clean yet alone sterile. The towels they use for your pedicure are washed by hand in a little sink with the tools that were used than are hung to dry on chairs! There is no way the women doing the pedicures were trained or licensed here. Everything was wrong!!!! From cutting your toenails very short and rounding them, to the actual foot scrub. The worst part it was more expensive than some very nice salons that actually give you a nice pedicure. read more

This place is horrible. The woman who did my pedicure was rushing so she could leave to go pick up her kids. She was very rough and caused me a lot of pain. She clipped my toenails down so far until you could see the imprint where my nails used to be. She was digging so hard and actually cut my baby toe. When I told her she cute my nails too short, she blamed it on me. I told the owner/man that Id better not get an infection. I only went there bcuz I needed to do some grocery shopping. The place doesnt look very clean, the towels they use are cheap and hard. I do not recommend this place at all. Please save yourself pain and money. Take your business elsewhere, bcuz this woman doesn't know what the heck she's doing. I have pretty feet and large toe beds, but after she got through with her hatchet job, I've got nubs, which I absolutely, positively HATE. I'm livid!!! The owner would not stop talking about politics and when I tried to change the conversation she got belligerent and loud. She was offended I didn't want to talk about it and she stopped doing my nails to keep talking politics (actually stopped). Had I not been mid polish I would have walked out and maybe I should have. Would give no stars if an option, unfortunately the lowest I can give is one. First of all, I walk in during the middle afternoon on a Monday, and I don't see anyone (the employee was busy watching something on an iPad). I ask her if she could simply take off my gel nail polish that was starting to chip because whenever I do it, my nails look awful. So she says okay. I sit down and start looking around the store.. wet towels on the floor, visible dust build up in the vents and fans, but I notice that a mani was only $15 so I thought why not. She says okay. So she starts painting my nails and as I'm looking at them they look horrible. The tops are uneven, the nail itself isn't smooth, so I kindly ask her to fix it. After rolling her eyes she got a bit aggressive and took the polish off and started painting again (the nail still not smooth) so I point out again that the nail isn't smooth. She rolls her eyes, yells at me, grows more aggressive and this time fixes it.. kind of. As soon as she gets done, she tells me to sit with my nails under the dryer until the timer goes off, and then goes right back to her iPad to watch whatever she was watching when I first arrived. Apparently, this salon owner runs this location inside Meijer and the other location in the Hoover rd shopping plaza..TERRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service, quality, technique, etc. I explained to the nail tech that I am a nurse and none of their equipment looked sterile, let alone clean. I was going to walk out but she offered to replace the head of the nail tool and get sterile supplies. I should have left then. She didn't prep my nails at all, sander was very hot and almost burned my nail bed. She was eating noodles and watching TV whilst trying to do my nails. She told me "you too nervous, I know how do nail" Well, if she "knows how do nail" so well, then why in the Heck do mine look terrible! She refused to put more than one coat of polish when normal salons do two coats plus top coat. My nails are gritty. Not sanded right, not filed. I could go on and on. My mistake for coming here. Please learn from my lesson and go elsewhere!! I had two hours to kill in Grove City area, what a huge mistake stopping here. Oh, also they had rotting fruit and muffins, among other foods, in the back corner. Nuts on the front desk, heavy dust, packs of other food...disgusting. This place needs raided by the health department asap. read more

I would rate this salon a negative 5. I get there and the manger (king) seemed unorganized and ready to go home. They closed at 8pm and I got there around 7:20ish. He told me no one could do my nails. I had to explain they I was already informed someone was on there way to help me. I sit in the chair and the lady starts taking the top layer off my nails then said she can't do a pink/white set not solar nails. King then comes and tells me it would be 54 for those services even though the sign posted said a different amount. I continue to get my nails done (regular style) as they described it and I have to keep informing the lady who was doing my nails they she had to be careful because I have a little extra skin under my nails. She said she's nervous because I'm picky (yes I'm going to ensure my nails are even and done correctly and I shouldn't have had to keep informing her they were uneven and to be careful) to put the icing on the cake. As I'm washing my hands king says something in their language to the lady and she goes owe can u pay now ( yes I took offense to this) there were two other people getting there nails done and they weren't asked to pay before hand. I didn't argue paid (but was feeling some kinda way) my white tips are a joke. They are like someone just put a line straight across, no curve or anything (at this point I'm fed up and just ready to go) as I'm the last one in the shop I ask why I was the only one who had to pay before my nails were finished and king replied "because we wanted to make sure your nails were dry and you didn't mess them up" I let him keep trying to explain himself because he knew I wasn't buying it. I left there pissed, disrespected, and with nails I wasn't satisfied with. I would never recommend this place to anyone and this is why I never cheat on my nail tech however I had no choice because I was out of town. Now on Monday I'll have to try and find someone who can fix my nails that I just got done. read more
