    My hair before extension installation.
    Sarah S.

I had extensions installed by another stylist in 2022. I loved them, but the removal process was done poorly and resulted in a ton of hair loss, which left me nervous to get extensions again for more than 2 years. I did a lot of research this time around, which led me to Rose. I told Rose about my past experience and she made me feel validated and comfortable going to her for my new extensions. Can't recommend Rose enough. She was really accommodating with scheduling and took a lot of time to talk to me about options and styles. She is thorough and extremely talented. I love my new hair and will be going to Rose for future extension installation in the future. She's so sweet, considerate, and is really dedicated to giving you the hair of your dreams - plus, her space is very clean and cute. Thank you, Rose!

This is my second time getting hair extensions from Rose and I simply could not be happier. My first extensions lasted 6 full months!!! I found Rose after a series of bad extensions that lasted less than 2 months that became embarrassingly visible with many fallouts. Rose's extensions never became visible in the 6 full months I had them in and I only had a few fall out at the very end of their lifespan. My hair is high quality, natural looking, and I routinely receive many compliments. She is an expert at her craft and I highly recommend you book an appointment if you want natural, quality, and long lasting extensions.

Rose never disappoints... A whimsical hair magician. The new salon is a dreamy pink feast for the eyes.

These extensions ripped out my natural hair after two weeks. I have mixed feelings towards my experience with Rose, but I'm ultimately frustrated and disappointed. I had found Rose on yelp and she had tons of great reviews and before/after pictures. She got back to me very quickly and said she would be able to do extensions on my very short hair. She did a consult with me via email being I live 3 hours away and walked me through setting up an appointment, which was scheduled the following week. She was friendly and professional towards me. Keratin extensions are not cheap by any means. It's about 1k to install them in addition to the price of the hair itself. I'm no stranger to using extensions but I always used tape ins before (about 1/2 the cost too). But since keratin bonds are supposed to last 3-6 months so I figured it would be worth the money. We met up at the hair shop to color match me before the appointment then headed over to the salon. Took about 4-5 hours but again I have really short hair. Now let me say after she was done, my hair looked GREAT. You couldn't tell I had short hair at all, it looked really natural and I was very happy. I paid, tipped Rose and left. Extensions usually feel sore and tight for the first few days, but mine felt extremely uncomfortable.. not just a little sore. I figured it was because it was a new type I wasn't used to. A week goes by and they aren't feeling any better. I'm talking about its painful to even just brush my hair gently (holding the top with my hand and working my way up from the ends) or even touch it. I didn't pull it up. I did wear it in a very loose low ponytail at the gym or when I slept, but that was it. I began to feel worried about my hair being it was so painful. I was looking at the bonds and noticed white dots in them. I looked closer and it looked like hair follicles. I texted rose a pic asking and she said it was fine, and to not worry. I kept checking and noticed more and more hair follicles, if I moved the extension around a little I could see my hair strands that had been ripped out my clearly. The extensions were RIPPING my hair out at the root. I texted her again and she seemed really unconcerned with my hair ripping out. I got the opinion of two other hairstylists that confirmed my fears that that was indeed what was happening. (As well as friends). I texted rose and she kept dodging my comments when I said they were ripping my hair but offered to take out the ones at my nape and temples (causing the most pain) a couple times as I texted her. I told her I was disappointed my hair was being ripped by the extensions being so tight to my scalp and said I wanted a partial refund being my own hair had been ripped out. She offered to take them out whenever I was available at no cost to me, but said there was a no refund policy at the salon. Which I wish I knew before hand (I wasn't told or warned) but then again why would anyone go to a salon if they're expecting they'll want a refund from shoty work. This frustrates me so much. I understand no refunds if you do a color on my hair and I then decide I don't like it etc. but her extensions literally TORE out my own hair because they were TOO tight. Not only that, but to prevent further damage to my hair, I had to have them removed. I went elsewhere because I'm angry Rose didn't seem to care that her work ripped my hair and frankly the last thing I wanted to do was see her face. So I got two weeks of wear of them. Nowhere close to 3-6 months. I paid her 900$, to have the extensions in two weeks, and for them to rip my hair out. I didn't even ask for a full refund, just a partial one. I think it's ridiculous she won't consider refunding me anything considering it seems they were not done properly and damaged my hair. I'm devastated something that was supposed to give me my confidence back, DAMAGED my hair and wasted a lot of money. Rose kept saying she has lots of clients this hasn't happened to; and she has many positive reviews so I'm sure she does, and that's great.. no one wants their hair damaged or torn out. Point is it still happened to me though and now I'm out 1k and some of my own hair. I would think if your worked ripped someone's hair out, you would have some sympathy and at least partially refund them or something, I would anyways. but guess at then end of the day she made her dollar off me and doesn't care. **pictures are of the hair follicles (hair ripped out from the root of my head by tight extensions). As you can see, the follicles are already ripped out while the extensions are still INTACT. No hair was ripped out from me removing them. It's clearly in the bonding while the extensions are still attached to my head. You can see all the hair that they ripped out while they are still bonded (the hair can't fall out due to it being stuck in the bond). I also had red painful bumps at the base of a few of the extensions.

Amazing! Very professional and great at her craft. She isn't In a rush to just weed through clients. She takes the time to meet with you and listen to what you want and is realistic about your expectations. The hair she chooses is great quality also. As for the end result... I have had extensions for years and she's the best! I love how full it is, I love where they are placed. I've received so many compliments and it's only been two days! Worth every penny and I'll be back again

Extra hair where Rose did NOT put any individual shrink links on and could have easily added them there.

I'm so sorry I don't like to ever leave any bad reviews unless it's the truth. I am also a licensed Hair Locs Technician but it's quite difficult for us to do our own hair. I called Rise on Thursday and got in on Friday. I told her specifically how I wanted my shrink links put which would be very close next to each other and in straight lines across my head with my full crown of hair to be left out. Even though my hair is fine and thin I've had individuals many times before and it's always held. I brought in my own hair and she charged me $1,100 for an install only. She started off ok from bottom up then started lagging and missing spaces where she could of added extensions. My daughter was with me and texting me telling me she's rushing and skipping pieces of hair where I need extensions in. When I told Rose why is she not putting them there she said my hair is too fine to put there which isn't true at all. There's plenty of hair to be able to put at least 15-17 pieces in an area that has hair!! Then she did almost all of the top of my crown area which I didn't want done and left barely a 1/4 of my own hair out which didn't cover the shrink link clips. She took pics and told me to wash it in 48 hours which she promises would look good. Omg when I went home my bf, my sister and daughter was so shocked to see a horrible job and when they lifted up my hair they said this is BS Crap work and told me to get my money back ASAP. Rose was rushing us out the door as her other client walked in. I contacted Rose ASAP I got home and she wouldn't accommodate me at all. She said she can only try to fix it on Tuesday at Noon which she knew my BF's mother was going in the hospital at 5 am Tuesday for major back surgery and she was expecting me there. It's caused a huge argument as I said I would have to leave then come back as I agree that's wrong but that's the only tune Rose put me in. I tried to explain to Rose and she's taking it the wrong way as wth I'm a perfect paying client and only want my hair fixed ASAP especially paying $1100. Now she refuses to even fix it on Tuesday that's crazy and so unprofessional 100%.

    The cutest salon EVER!
    Naira K.

Rose's talent is unmatchable! She is so kind, caring & loving. Not only did she make my hair look absolutely amazing, she gave me my confidence back. she is so experienced when it comes to all things hair! My before && after picture says it all!! Thank you a million!!!

I booked an "Occasion Styling" appointment ($120) with Marie Kazarian for my Senior Prom after being recommended by a friend who had a positive experience at the salon for the same service. Two days before my appointment, Marie texted asking for photos of the styles I wanted. I sent two options, and she assured me she could do both. When I arrived, she asked to see my Prom dress and suggested we go with an updo instead of a half-up, half-down style. From the start, the appointment felt unprofessional. She didn't ask any questions about my hair type, texture, or how it holds style. She began curling my hair with a large-barrel curling iron but used no heat protectant or styling products. The curls fell out within minutes. When attempting the updo, it quickly became clear she didn't have a plan. The result was a stiff, messy bun with random pieces pinned awkwardly--completely different from what I had shown her. After two failed attempts, I asked her to switch to a half-up, half-down style, hoping it would be easier. At that point, I felt frustrated because I shouldn't have to lower my expectations when I'm paying for a specific look. Unfortunately, the second attempt was no better. She pulled my hair into an uneven ponytail with no teasing, shaping, or effort to match the reference photos. I became so upset that I started crying and texted my mom, who was sitting across the salon. My mom ended up stepping in to help guide Marie because it was clear she didn't know how to execute the style. The entire experience was incredibly upsetting. I spent the rest of the appointment in tears, and despite other stylists clearly seeing how distressed I was, as I made eye contact with various of them, no one offered assistance. When Marie's next client arrived, I had to leave with my hair unfinished and poorly styled. What stood out the most was how completely unapologetic Marie was throughout the entire appointment. At no point did she acknowledge that things were going wrong, offer a solution, or show any concern for how upset I was. Instead, she dismissed the situation by saying, "It's going to look better when you have your dress and makeup on," which only made things worse. I ended up going home and having to completely redo my own hair for Prom after paying $120 for a professional service. That alone says everything. I left the salon having paid for a hairstyle that looked nothing like what I requested and for one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. Marie came across as unprepared, inattentive, and completely unconcerned with client satisfaction. DO NOT BOOK WITH MARIE KAZARIAN!

I have been wanting to do a crazy colored pinterest-inspired ombre on my hair for a while now, but didn't know who to go to. I am so glad I found Samantha! She did a great job blending my natural hair color with the teal and then into the blue. It looks almost natural, like my hair just grew teal! My hair is naturally light brown, so it had to be bleached as a first step in order for the bright teal to show up. Samantha first bleached a really nice ombre from my natural color to a very pronounced blonde, so that when the teal fades my hair won't have a line where it was lightened.
