She helped me understand what had been done to my hair and explained how we were going to bring it back to a healthy place. My hair had been damaged from permanent color, and my haircut had also been done incorrectly by someone else. But then Maral stepped in with her knowledge and expertise. She not only fixed my haircut beautifully, but also performed an incredible color correction. She felt so comfortable that she asked me to step aside so she could have her "big girl" salon experience with her two new hairstylists! I was convinced that she was someone I could trust with my hair and to help me get the digital perm that I wanted so I booked my appointment with her. I was already warned that digital perms would take a long time so she told me to block out about 3-4 hours. Before starting anything, she checked the health of my hair and also talked through cutting my hair before starting the digital perm process. I appreciated how she knew what lengths and the type of haircut that would best suit me as the digital perm would grow out in the future. I also showed her my digital perms from the past that I liked and didn't like (from other salons that I had gone to) and we were in agreement as to what kind of perm, length, and shape she was going to aim for. She pays great care to details and even made sure that she had the correct intensity of chemicals to make sure that she preserved the health of my hair while perming it. I really appreciated her taking her time to make sure that she was thorough and careful to make sure that this was going to be worthy of my investment. She explained each step of the perm process as she was doing each step. She takes great pride in her work and wanted to make sure that she was also satisfied with her work. Although it was a long morning, she took great care to make sure that I was comfortable and even offered coffee/beverages while I waited. Eunice is so incredibly sweet and is so much fun and easy to talk to. Digital perms in general are pricey, but it's because there is a lot of labor and preparation that goes into perms that are done correctly and done well. I feel like her price point was fair considering her thoroughness and care throughout the process. I definitely plan to come back again next year and I am so glad that I found someone I can confidently trust and go back to for my annual digital perm.

So happy that I was able to get an appointment during these difficult times for many. Knowing that their was a protocol set in place before going in made me feel safe. Instead, she took off 4-5". I'm guessing that she kept taking more and more off in attempt to get it even (which is extremely strange as I have the easiest hair to cut - stick straight with long layers) and finally gave up because towards the end of drying my hair, she spun me around so I was no longer facing the mirror, and she curled it. No hairdresser I've ever had has curled my hair without my asking, before. I was pretty shocked by how short it was, but I thought maybe that was because it was so curly. I decided to make the best of it, paid her, and left. After I got home & washed my hair, I saw that, not only had she taken off WAY more than she said she would, but it was also completely uneven. The ends look like they been hacked at, and one side of my hair is a LOT shorter than the other side! I am flabbergasted and furious. I emailed the owner who apologized and offered to fix it. Like I would EVER set foot in that salon ever again!

She did a great job blending my natural hair color with the teal and then into the blue. It looks almost natural, like my hair just grew teal! My hair is naturally light brown, so it had to be bleached as a first step in order for the bright teal to show up. Samantha first bleached a really nice ombre from my natural color to a very pronounced blonde, so that when the teal fades my hair won't have a line where it was lightened.
