Sylvia is AMAZING!! I'm so happy I found her salon! She is an expert in hair, and does phenomenal work. I went to her for the first time last year. I have very long hair, and had a lot of split ends. All other stylists I've gone to in the past have always told me I'd need to cut about 5 inches off. So, I told Sylvia she could cut 5 inches (even though I really didn't want to cut that much). Came here for a keratin treatment and left extremely satisfied! Jackie did my hair and she did such a wonderful job. I have a lot of hair and it's extremely damaged due to excess bleaching, but Jackie was able to brush it all out. She really took her time and made sure that it was done nicely without further damaging my hair. She is also gave me a light trim free of charge. I LOVE Silvia. I've been coming to her for.... well too many years almost 18 to be exact. Twice in the last 18 years I strayed away from Silvia and both times I regretted it deeply. Both times I went to places that were closer to my house and both times my hair was left horribly dry and damaged and not to mention the awful color. I'm lucky because both times Silvia took me back and repaired the damage that was done. She is the best at color and haircuts. I have to share my experience with Maria and my beautiful eyelash extensions! I had gone to a cheap salon before and received a poor job, with awful lashes, and glue that burned my eyes :( So I was worried about getting new extensions elsewhere after my first experience. Very cute salon! Decor is wonderful and you can tell the owner put in a lot of time into it. I felt really comfortable there. I also really liked that I could watch the news or whatever else from the big flat screen TV that is easily in view from all of the swiveling seats. Even more impressive was when I was getting my hair shampooed, I noticed that the sink had an elevated head support so that you don't strain your neck as they shampoo....SO much more relaxing! It's all of those little things that make the whole experience amazing. The stylists are very talented, especially with color! They were able to match my natural color exactly! I really liked that the owner herself took the time to introduce herself to me and even cut my hair for me! They have their own parking on the side and parking is never an issue! Color, Peek-a-boo highlights, Wash, Dry, cut.. etc.. it LOOKED AND FELT AMAZING!!! The WHOOOOOLE PROCESS!!.. Not once was I nervous or second guessing. I knew I was in good hands. But the one thing, that WAS on my mind was what will my fiance' say.. ugh.. I was dreading it.. lol! Once I was done, I mean what else could I have said.. Sylvia and Christy did an absolutely amazing job.. it was EXACTLY what I wanted.. what I was looking for.. just ABSOLUTELY PERRFECT! I picked up a few products and was completely satisfied. The first time I had my hair done was for Prom back in my high school days in 2007. Ever since then I have been going to Bliss to see Sylvia to do my hair. I absolutely love her attitude and her ability to work with my hair. I have always wanted to dye my hair a lighter color but heard too many horror stories of hair falling out in patches to decisively make the jump. However, after seeing Tianna's work on Instagram, I decided to take a leap of faith on a particularly hungover Tuesday and make the transition. Tianna was super sweet and patient with me as I only had an idea of what I wanted (also, the hangover part). She offered me color suggestions and explained what she'd be doing, the products she'd be using and walked me through the process. After 4 hours of dying of anticipation (get it??), I saw my finished look and fell in love with my reflection even more. Caramel Blond Balayage . Such a fantastic job! Pretty much NO ONE has been allowed to touch my hair, but last week I decided to just buck up, brave it, and and get my hair cut. In all honesty, I was kinda a little more snappy than I could have been but I was really worried about my hair. But I totally didn't even need to worry about it because my stylist did an AMAZING job. My stylist was Alba and she was super friendly and really cool about my slightly anal demands about cutting in 1/8 inches until I felt okay about it. She gave me a perfect and cute haircut and has now officially been dubbed the only person allowed to cut my hair. I went to Bliss in need of a hero. My tape in hair extensions I got out of town for my wedding were matted to the back of my head and I couldn't get them out. I met Silvia yrs ago when i colored my own hair. I accidently botched my hair coloring and was recommended to Silvia who was an expertise in hair coloring. Not only did she fix the horrible botch job I did on my hair but everyone told me it was the prettiest haircolor they've ever seen on me! I used to go to Juan Juan in Brentwood for my haircuts cause my hair is curly and difficult to manage but Silvia does a much better job!
