What happened to this location? They've always been very good, although not as great as the location at Dysart and McDowell, but our last order was just meh. We only ordered fried mushrooms and tomato and spinach bread, but the mushrooms are totally different now. They seemed like frozen crap they dumped in the fryer. Way more heavily breaded, and the breading tasted like cardboard. And what I really wanted was cheesy garlic bread, but that's not on the menu anymore so I had to order the spinach and tomato bread without the spinach and tomato. I'm from Chicago and this place has always been hit or miss depending on which teenager is working the oven. Some care and some want to be anywhere else but there. Good thin crust pizza. Only frustrating is there is no pizza and wings combo. Ordering a large pizza and 6 wings is odd. They should have a standard large and 20 piece like all other shops. Pizza has always been hot & fresh traditional Chicago thin crust. This is the second best "tavern style" thin crust in Surprise. I believe Deno's has the best and wings to match. Ordered two of their ultimate catering packages for a large gathering of friends and family. The staff couldn't have been more gracious and the food was excellent. Everyone commented and how good it was. packages have Chicago style, Italian beef sandwiches, awesome fried chicken, manicotti with marinara lots of garlic bread, a wonderful salad. All my husband wanted for his birthday was a Chicago style deep dish, but didn't want to go anywhere. His favorite place for it is Rosatis. Until last night we had no idea one was close enough to deliver until last night. I called to double check and was pleasantly surprised they'd deliver to our home. Saves the extra fees from grubhub. I ordered their largest deep dish and a 18 inch pepperoni. We were told it would be about an hour . The food came hot, just as he'd been dreaming of and within the hour promised. *To management ** This is to Stan the manager. I own a business and spend about 200 dollars a week with these guys. We put in a order for Italian sausage sandwiches. Stan stated in his rude demeanor that they will be canceling our order due to no bread or Italian sausage. He did not have a resolution and his poor management skills are unfortunate and the 800-1000.00 dollar a month I spend at this establishment can be spent else where. Ordered a dipped beef sandwich with mozzarella (fwiw: there is a shop that makes these in spades on every corner in Chicago!). Not really sure why I had never been to Rosatis before today? I was craving some pizza and I wanted to stay somewhat local, so I decided that I would finally try it out. I went with a 12 inch Sausage Stuffed Pizza. I ordered online (10% off your first online order if you sign up with your email address) and went down to pick it up. The friendly girl at the counter handed me my box, and I was on my way. Here is how it was............... Sausage Stuffed Pizza- I took the lid off this beast, and was impressed right away. They put a piece of tin foil over the top, as well as a plastic pizza doohickey so that the box does not hit the pizza. Nice touch! I removed the foil and saw a beautiful red layer of sauce. The crust looked good, and I was excited to dig in! I scooped out a slice, put it on my plate and I began to cut through the slice for my first bite. Right then and there, I knew something was just a bit "off". (Side note...my gold standard "stuffed pizza" is Giordanos.) The crust itself was a little too doughy. It reminded me almost of a sponge cake. It was weird. I took my first bite, and the top layer of crust was "wet" and kind of soggy (My picture from the side, kind of shows the "wet" texture of the dough). Pair that with the "spongy" bottom layer, and I knew that I would not "love" this pizza. Saying that, the sauce...awesome! A little bit sweet with some oregano! The cheese, awesome! Tasted like a Wisconsin brick type cheese (not sure if that's what they use, but it tasted like it and I know a lot of the Chicago area places use that particular type of cheese). The sausage, awesome again! Nice big balls of perfectly seasoned Italian sausage! I ate 2 slices and was stuffed to the brim! This is a very filling pizza! It was only $18.00 bucks, too! Huge pizza and great value minus the wet crust! Will I be back? Yeah, probably. The sauce, cheese and toppings were great! That stuffed crust dough was whack though! Maybe their other style of pizzas are better? I know for sure I won't go with the stuffed one again, but would be up for trying their deep dish or thin crust. read more

I ordered a large sausage pizza 2 days ago. I normally LOVE their pizza but this was just awful. Absolutely no taste to it all. All you could taste was sausage as well as tasteless cheese. I feel like a broken record with this particular location. I've been waiting over a week for my money back from the order that took 2 hours to get to my house that I sent back. The manager assured me he would reverse the charges. Now when I call it rings then I get out on hold when answered. I ordered 2 baked penne pasta with chicken cheese and Alfredo. Was told within the hour. After 1 hour am 50 minutes I called and asked when my food was cooked. He wouldn't answer me every time I asked. Anyone who knows Alfredo sitting in a hot box for an hour turns into skim milk on any noodles. So when it arrived I asked to open it and looks and looked like milk dryer up with cheese and noodles. The Alfredo looked like butter melted basically. I told the driver to bring it back and reverse the charges. Now I have to pay for food I sent back! This place sucks! read more

Best pizza in surprise! The delivery drivers are always lovely and whenever I call it's an easy time getting my order in. The wings are delicious, the pasta is delicious, and they give you a bunch of yummy bread with a pasta dish! If there is ever a long delivery wait I just do a pick up order instead- which I would recommend to anyone complaining about delivery times. A pizza place isn't Amazon Prime, people.
