Mostaccioli Alforno (SO GOOD!!!), Lasagna (also so good!!) and Italian Sausage Thin Crust Pizza (so good!!!)

Rosati's Pizza is an Italian gem! Their deep dish pizza is simply to die for--perfectly crispy on the outside, with a gooey, cheesy center that melts in your mouth. And their pastas are equally fantastic. The flavors are rich, hearty, and satisfied everyone cravings. Highly recommend! Will be back to try their thin crust and itsliasandwiches!

My opening day takeout lunch experience at this Chicago-style pizza restaurant (which offers only takeout or catering) was good overall, with room for improvement. The order and payment service at the counter was accommodative but pretty slow due to training in progress and a cumbersome order entry system. However, once my order was entered, the kitchen prepared it quickly, with everything nicely packaged for transport. The 9" x 9" pepperoni pizza slice ($4.00) and Italian table side salad ($5.74) were tasty, nicely sized and moderately priced. The pizza slice had plenty of cheese and toppings on a tasty, chewy crust, while the salad was nicely chilled, with fresh veggies and plenty of my choice of dressing on the side. Unfortunately, I was charged more for the salad than the $4.99 price shown online - not cool. Also, I was disappointed to find this location offered only three pizza by the slice options (cheese, sausage and pepperoni). The location on College has more options. I'm thinking 3.5 stars overall and rounding up, since the pizza tasted great, and I expect they will iron out the opening day glitches.

I really like this franchise pizza place! I've always had a wonderful experience with all my carry out orders! It is not too difficult to order online and there is even a tracker for you to keep track of when your food is ready for pickup. I've only ordered their sausage supreme double dough pizza and it's fantastic. I was surprised the first time I had pizza from here how good it was! They cut my pizza into squares which I really like cause the middle pieces are super cheesy. After the first order I placed, I kept getting emails about their promos like $4 off, 50% off your order, 20% off, free 2 liters, etc. That's useful if you're okay with their promo emails because they have some really good deals. I've only used one and it worked. I have ordered their pasta and cinnamon sticks. I would not get the cinnamon sticks again lol they were dry. The pasta is okay, it's basic but for those that are really craving just marinara sauce with pasta then it could hit the spot. The workers have always been friendly and really happy whenever I pick up my carry out orders. For some reason, it makes you feel happy too. This is my favorite pizza place currently and I think it's going to stay that way for a long time!

Our work place is close to Rosati's Pizza, so we gave it a try. This place is a small family business which gave me even more of a reason to try it. We got the Chicago Style Deep-Dish Pizza, and a slice of cheese and pepperoni. I went ahead and picked them up. The service was great. As I was greeted, my pizzas were ready on time. Everyone at our work liked the pizzas and now it's our tradition to get lunch from Rosati's Pizza on a regular basis.

We have been ordering from Rosati's on College since we moved to Kansas. It is truly the best pizza we have had in Kansas. My husband recently received a gift card for Rosati's, and we were so excited. We soon found out it was for the location on 151st. They wouldn't honor it at the college location. We decided to visit this location, and they were super nice. We did learn they do not have an 18 inch pizza but a 16 inch pizza for their large pizza. It is still very good pizza and great service as well. This did not disappoint, and they also honored the coupon for buying a large and getting a free 12 inch cheese pizza.

We had two great pizzas from Rosati's last night. They were crazy busy but we were treated well and promptly. We will be back soon.

Best pizza ever !! Crust is thin, not doughy, sauce is not too sweet, or sultry toppings are plentiful and no shortage of cheese

They're popular for a reason! Sour cream crumb cake is absolutely worth the calories. Moist and tasty and lots of crumble on top. I always order my favorite Gao Wen tea (Hugo tea brand), it's got a deliciously complex flavor and with a splash of cream and stevia there's no better cup in town. If it's too hot for tea you'll find me sipping a cold local kombucha.

My Favorite Breakfast Spot -- and Ode to My First Dog, Layla…read more McLain's Market has easily become my favorite breakfast place in KC. It's got that ideal coffee shop & chill vibe -- during the week you'll see adults working quietly on laptops, and on weekends it turns into a mix of families, kids, and regulars who clearly love the place. The staff is always friendly, and the self-serve water station is a nice touch. Coffee: I've tried the lattes twice and the Salted Market Cold Foam Cold Brew (Sway Coffee Roasters cold brew + market syrup cold foam) once. Both are good -- not life-changing, but solid. I actually don't come here for the coffee; I come for the food. Breakfast: Quiche (Veggie or Bacon & Sausage) - Comes with a side of parmesan arugula salad. The veggie version surprised me -- I usually go for meat, but this one wins for balance and flavor. The meat version is good too, just a bit salty. Veggie: 4.5/5 | Meat: 4/5 The Farm Sandwich - Scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, veggies, cheddar, poblano spread, and avocado on a croissant. That croissanty, buttery base and poblano spread: Absolute chef's kiss. My mom and I both love this one -- buttery, filling, and comforting in every bite. 5/5 Pepper Jack Burrito - Scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, pepper jack cheese, and serrano sauce. Great kick from the sauce! If they toasted the wrap, it'd be a perfect 5/5 instead of 4/5. Chorizo Bowl - Over-easy egg, chorizo, sweet potatoes, quinoa, black beans, avocado, green onion + charred salsa. I'm usually not a quinoa fan (it's the "brown rice of health food"), but somehow they make it amazing. Sweet, savory, hearty -- the kind of dish that makes you forget it's healthy. A perfect brunch bowl. 5/5 -- honestly should be 6/5. Bakery Items: Carrot muffin and cinnamon donut -- both are light, perfectly sweet, and just the right size. 5/5 Layla's Last Breakfast This place also has sentimental meaning for me. On the day I had to say goodbye to my dog, Layla, I bought her breakfast from McLain's -- biscuits and gravy, and The Farm sandwich. That was her last meal before the vet came to our house. I'll never forget that she left feeling full and loved. So yeah, McLain's isn't just a café to me -- it's comfort, consistency, and a piece of my heart.

Take advantage of deals, like BOGO, which I did on this order, and a free cookie if you complete their survey. My order: Prime Rib Steak (Regular Menu) - White bread, Swiss, garlic aioli, caramelized onions, and extra hot peppers. Bread is perfectly toasted--soft but crunchy edges. Fireball (Underground) - Italian meatballs + chili + cheddar + peppers. It's messy, it's spicy, it's worth every napkin. Combo intel: Skinny Trio (turkey, chicken, or ham + cheese) comes with chips and Coke. But if you do a soup or salad combo, you can pick any Skinny sandwich--big difference. Soups are underrated (baked potato and chicken pot pie are winners). Bread choices are limited, but they nail the texture. Sides are fun: Zapp's chips, milkshakes, cookies, and a jar of those incredible hot peppers for $7. Friendly staff, clean shop, small patio if you want sun. Tip: Add hot peppers to everything--they're free, fiery, and the cheat code for Potbelly.
