If you're looking for great pizza and great food in general this place definitely is way different than any pizza place you'll have in Arizona. I moved to anthem recently and was delighted at one of only two eat in Rosati's the others are all take out it delivery. The problem with this restaurant is no matter how many times I've been there since I've moved here today makes 4 the service is beyond lousy the pizza and food takes forever and continuous service at your table is horrible today we were one of only two people in the restaurant and it took more than 40 minutes and we had to ask for everything we needed and look for our waiter or waitress this restaurant is filled with teenagers and kids and run horribly and its really sad because it's great food it will be unfortunately take out for us just like it was when we lived somewhere else... read more

We went on a Friday evening and sat at the bar. It took 12 minutes to get a beer. No specials. Was over priced. Then after the dinner rush, it was dead. We went back the following day to eat. We ordered a thin crust meatball pizza, wings and side salads. Everything was delicious. The only negative I would have is that they serve Pepsi products and the ranch and blue cheese come in pre-made packets. It would be a nice touch if they made their own. read more

If I could I would give this place no stars. For starters, the service is the worst. You come in wait 30 minutes just to get told there's a 15 minute wait. You finally get seated and the waitress doesn't even approach you immediately. They let you sit there for 15 minutes before even asking you what you want to drink. If you don't have your food order ready you're in for a treat. Once they have your drink order it takes 10 minutes to get a drink even if it's just water. They finally take your order and the food takes forever to get to you. My family and I previously owned a rosati's so we know how long food should take. We placed an order of dough nuggets (which should take 3 minutes max) it took 20 minutes to get to us. You bit in the dough nuggets and oil cane out completely. We also placed an order for an antipasto salad which usually comes out with a lot of meat. It came out with barely any at all. The pizza we got took way too long, and it was under cooked. The crust was completely white as well. Not even a little toasted. When we asked for refills on soda, they took your cup and it never returns. They ask how your food is which is the only time they check in on you. When really they should check in on you 2-3 times to make sure the food is correct and tasting good. Then they can't clear tables. A family left before us and left the table a mess and we've looked at it for the past hour, which means no one has been able to sit there. Then when you finally receive the check, if you do cash, they most likely will short you. They can't do math. We were shorted ten bucks. Had a poor experience last month (they gave me the wrong item via delivery and then said they'd just "credit my account", which they never did) but gave it another shot. Worst service ever. The manager was completely unwilling for partake in any form of customer service, and FYI when you order a pizza half and half (ex half combo half cheese) they actually charge you for a full combo and just write in underneath "half cheese". Terrible!! Will never go back! We tried this restaurant when it first opened several months ago. It was not good, but gave it a 2nd chance. Even worse! My husband ordered a combo pizza. It looked great, but after the 2nd bite, he realized the sausage was not cooked. I mean RAW! We asked for the manager who did not come to the table. Instead, the cook came out from the kitchen. My family and I are new to Arizona and people have recommended we try Rosatis. So finally after living here for almost 5 months, I decided to take my parents, husband and daughter here for dinner. The food was good, service was ok but slow, even given the fact that we went at 3:00 and were the only people dining there. My mom and I both got the exact same salad and were both deathly ill the following day. My mom ended up going to urgent care because she was so sick. The doctors told her we most likely got food poisoning from the chicken on the salad. I definitely agree that it was food poisoning. With that being said, my dad called Rosatis to tell them they need to check their chicken, told them how sick we were and they didn't offer any way to make it right. No refund, nothing. I have been going to this Rosati's when it opened 15-16 years ago. Was sad when it left and happy when it returned. The staff and kitchen chefs have been great. The management over the last 2-3 years not good. I have ordered an italian sausage sandwich since the beginning and the final price has always been between $12-13.92. The starting price is $9.99 and I add 2 side orders of Marinara (the only reason I add it is because they often do not put it on or not enough) and I add one link sausage usually charges $1-2 dollars extra. Total bill usually $13.92 and maybe less if they do not charge for the marinara which should be included. Several times over the last 2-3 years a person tries to ring the charge up for $19.92. I always say that is not what I have been charged over the last 10 years and they correct it. Today, quoted on the phone $10.62. I knew it was incorrect and was going to advise the staff they made an error and should be $13+. When I arrived The staff member advised she made a mistake and the manager said to charge $19+. I advised I have never paid that much. The manager came over and said we always charge $5 for an extra link. I did not do the math with him how he got to $19+ from $9.99 start. I advised I have never paid that much and he said that is what they charge. I left as over the last three years I have shown up and been told different pricing on many occasions. The 15 min wait has been up to 45 minutes and two times no bread for the sandwich was available and a couple of times there was only one sausage. These are management errors. On my way out I advised that every other Rosati's in the valley the price is below $13. I would be taking my business there. I will not return to this Rosati's despite the convenience. WHAT A RIP OFF. I have had them deliver to me every friday for the last year. They offer a free delivery coupon which amounts to three dollars. What they do is deduct the three dollars and then add it back on. Now they add a 1 dollar fuel charge. (where is the free delivery) I have contacted the owner several times and he is rude and insists that the decuction is there. Wrong, because when you are told the total price over the phone and it ends up being three dollars more you no. Not to mention i have a stack of reciepts that i have kept over the year that distinctly shows the deduct and then the re-add of the three dollars not to mention the extra dollar fuel charge. Last delivery i gave it to the delivery guy to give the reciepts to the owner and told him to have the owner call me but he never did. The way i see it he has ripped my family off for 72.00 dollars total. I will never order from the Oriental pizza owner who does not understand english in Anthem again. I have been going to this restaurant for some time and the quality and service started to erode prior to the new ownership. The last three experiences under the new ownership have been poor with the first resulting in a Chicago pizza that was almost double the thickness it should be, the second time the bottom was burnt and last night the Chicago pizza was too thin, the crust was tasteless and it was double cut into 16 slices as opposed to the usual 8 slices. Further, it was disappointing to learn that when ordering the mozzerella sticks I was asked if I wanted a marinara dipping sauce, as it would be an additional 75 cents. The restaurant should also look at improving the management and customer service experience. read more

I've lived in Anthem a long time and I've watched Rosati's go through several owner and management changes. While we enjoy the Monday $1 beers and the rest of the bar, the restaurant take out leaves so much to be desired. Tonight we ordered take out pizza and salad. I received a confirmation that the order would be ready in 30 mins from ordering. I waited 15 mins and then drove to the restaurant, leaving my starving spouse at home. I told the host when I arrived and he indicated the order was nearly ready. It was NOT busy in the restaurant or. bar. I advised the host I would be in the bar and he indicated no problem. 30 minutes later, the waitress was not able to find the order and when it was found, the pizza was barely warm. The salad still had to be made. When I walked to the counter, there were 4 cooks in the kitchen just standing around. Not a good look. Normal procedure would be for someone to bring the order to the bar, as has happened in the past. The pizza looks terrible, like it was previously frozen and will have to be completely reheated. The cheese had congealed. It was a special order pizza. We asked for light sauce and the sauce was dripping off the crust, making it soggy in places. No more Rosati's food. Papa Murphy's will be our next option for pizza. Rosati's seems to do well enough in the bar but their restaurant take out service is very poor. We do not recommend it. read more

I went to Rosati's with my coupon for a free cheese pizza & presented it to the server. I told her I wanted to use it & she looked at it, said okay, then took our order. When it came time to pay she said she had made an error & the coupon was not valid. When I pointed out that we talked about it before we ordered she said it would not be honored. I tried this place and I am new to Anthem. This place was ok the first two times I ordered here. After that it just became more sloppy and unprofessional. I placed a delivery and found hair rolled up in the chicken wings the first time. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to try again one day. I ordered two hamburgers and it was completely burnt. I literally couldn't not enjoy my burger I ended up not eating it and requested a refund. I was out on hold twice for 5 minutes, they promised to have the manager call me back right away and it was my third attempt a few hours later calling back. The owners daughter yelled over my voice and literally just refused to let me talk to the manager. She kept saying he is busy and gave me some BS story about traffic. A new girl that was working there told other staff I was complaining about my food. She should learn to have better work ethic as far as how she represents herself and the resturaunt. You never talk about customers like that. I was simply telling them my food was burned. I was not just complaining to be rude on purpose! I could not believe such unprofessionalism. I've worked in Resturaunt's before and I have never ever treated customers so horribly or refused to help them as far as customer satisfactory. This is by far the worst place I have ever experience such bad, sloppy food and worst staff and management. The Manager never called me back. This is completely unacceptable. Bar fights (plural) in Anthem? Well on Wednesday night my family went to Rosati's for pizza and pasta. While waiting for our food a fight broke out in the bar area. Police were called (4 officers showed up), and the issue was resolved. But it changed the vibe in the place. Our food arrived, the pasta was cold and the pizza was a supreme (we ordered pepperoni & mushroom). So, the waitress took everything back and said she was making new pasta as well as a new pizza. While waiting (another 15 minutes) a second bar fight erupted, this was just a lot of yelling, name calling, and one drunk trying to get the other guy to fight him. The bartender ducked behind the bar, customers quickly moved away from the bar area. We were sitting in the restaurant area, and were scared more this time than earlier. While they were still yelling and stuff, our food arrived. Like many others in the place, we were shaken and lost our appetite. We said "box it up", quickly paid, and left. Others also walked out. I will never go back to this place. Thankful that the restaurant manager was a big guy was able to step in and helped to diffuse / break up the first fight until the cops arrived. read more

I ordered from Rosatis several weeks ago and it took almost two hours to get my pizza. I had to call several times during the order process as I was told 45 minutes to an hour to get the pizza, and no one had shown up in that time frame or called to say they were running late. I called them after I got my pizza cold, and they said I could get my pizza redone for free at another time. I called today to get that free pizza and I was told that I would have to wait until the owner returned in an hour. What kind of business doesn't deliver on promises made and then asks customers to work around the convenience of the owner? I will never order from here again. "The Cheef" was the best I have ever had from a Rosati's location. Also, a few weeks ago I had their stuffed pizza with the sauce in the middle instead of the sauce on top and it was so good that I will make sure to order in the future. Most Rosati's locations across the US don't offer a Dine In area but this Rosati's has a nice area to sit down with the family to eat. If you are in the area of Anthem (North Valley) don't hesitate on where to go. They even have BIG SCREEN TV's so you can catch any sports game you want to see!! read more

I moved to Anthem 8 years ago. I tried Rosati's once or twice the first few months after arriving. I haven't had it since, and couldn't remember why, until tonight. We usually get Barros pizza, which we love, a lot. Tonight we thought, why not try something different? So we ordered a thin crust pepperoni and a chicago deep dish. The employee who took my order did not give me a total when I called to order, and I didn't ask. When we went to pick it up, it was $51. $51! For EXTREMLY BAD pizza. The sauce was terrible, no flavor except overwhelming tomato, almost like straight out of the can tomato sauce. The thin crust was worse than Chuckie Cheese, which I thought was impossible. And deep dish? Not even close. The edges of the crust were sticking up about an inch, to give the illusion of being deeper, but it was just dense, almost doughy, and barely thicker than the thin crust. Even my 15yr old son said it was bad. Usually he inhales pizza so fast I wonder if he even tastes it. Left overs went into the garbage can. Will never, ever order from here again. The person who took my order had his customer service down pat though. He was pleasant, helpful, and used my name no less than 4 times. Perhaps if they put as much time and energy into their food as they do into their customer service training, they might be able to prepare food that is more than just BARELY EDIBLE. read more

Absolutely fantastic restaurant, and I'm PICKY! The whole restaurant is fastidiously clean, the food is superior; excellent quality and everything cooked to perfection. The staff is the friendliest and most knowledgeable that I've encountered in years. The atmosphere is fun, (UFC!) and family friendly with both a restaurant side and a bar side as well as an outdoor patio equipped with TV's. Great place for everyone! read more

I don't normally waste my time posting reviews, but our service was so horrendous, I had to say to speak my mind! After waiting 10 minutes for our server to finally come greet us at the table, it took her 15 minutes to come back with our 2 waters and 2 sodas! So we finally got our order put in and waited 50 minutes for an under cooked, less then mediocre pizza, that was way overpriced! As if that weren't bad enough, we waited another 30 minutes for our server to finally come back so we could ask for the check! (Of course she didn't bother asking if there was any reason we had touched less then a fourth of our pizza between 4 of us and we didn't want a box to take it home!) So we finally got out of there 2 hours and $35 later, just so we could go grab dinner at a drive thru! It's really sad when the service AND food is better at a fast food place then a restaurant! Horrible experience... Staff of 5 and we didn't see one smile, but I can live with that, until all the other stuff happened. Friday night and the place is dead should have been our clue. Ordered a Chicago style and kids pizza. They brought out the kids in decent time then informed us that they "accidentally made us a thin crust and the machine to make the Chicago style is broken". I'm hungry and can live with this too. I then informed the server we had a 50% off one pizza coupon. This seemed to be a hassle, but he took it so I again let it go. My husband asks for a new bottle of Tabasco as the one on our table is discolored and nasty looking; they don't have one. We get the bill and I'm still charged for the Chicago style at the 50% off. I ask the server about it, in which he brings the manager in. Manager adjusts the receipt, slides it across the counter and quickly leaves. The total is now MORE than the original. I ask to see him to explain this to me and he sends his server out to tell me "it is what it is and we can't adjust it again". SERIOUSLY!?! I manage to get his attention through the kitchen door and he says the first receipt had half off the kids pizza as well so it was less! You couldn't politely explain this when I first approached you? I'm baffled that I'm expected to pay when I didn't get what I ordered in the first place let alone have to pay more because I ask about it. Customer service = non existent in this place. Thin crust pizza tasted good (and I hail from the Windy City) but was a really thin crust-thinner than I remember so double dough next time. First one they were to deliver and told me 45 minutes to an hour. 90 minutes later called and they said it was for pick up. Under new ownership which is incompetent. I ordered two pizza's for pick up. They misplaced my order and never got made. I was assured that they would get them made and told to come back in 30 minutes. The manager even came out and showed me that my pizza's were in line to be made. She lied to me. When I returned, they had never made my pizza's. Two hours after I placed my order, no pizza and a lame appology and excuse by the owner. I demanded my money back and informed him I would be putting a review on-line. He then challenged my right to do that. Used to buy our pizza here, had issues with prices charged not what the menu shows. This location was closed for about six months or so. Reopened in October/November 2014. Thought we would give them another chance (hoped it was a new proprietor). Nope, ordered a 14" Hawaiian thin crust, menu online shows a price of 14.49 +tax. We were charged 16.47 including tax. The menus on the counter in the restaurant showed the same price of 14.49. When we asked what was going on with the price discrepancy, we got a bewildered look from the teenage staff and plenty of excuses. This place is horrible. We are from out of town and when we ordered on the phone had no clue of the cost. Total was $42 for two medium pizzas and was told it was because of extra toppings. Well, let's start off by saying we love there pizza and that's why we order for delivery from them. The past owner I did not care for, he would charge a gas fee on top of a delivery charge to to north phoenix that fee was hidden so i stopped ordering from them. Since the new owner took over which i had no idea that took place he called me and noticed i have not ordered pizza from them for some time. He said give us try again you will love the service. so i did and yes it was great and in fact i have been ordering from them for delivery every friday. I just called today and now they tell me that they do not come my way because they are short staffed. Bummer! I guess all the money he put into the upgrades and what not has gotten the best of his business that he cannot hire enough staff to deliver go figure. Needless to we and many others I know will not be ordering from Rosati's till they get there feet solid on the ground. we have only lived in the Anthem area for a year and so disappointed in the restuarants here in the area...such a great area but such poor selection of restaurants. We had been going to Rosatis and even tho the service was sketchy and hard to get a drink there in a timely manner because the wait staff all underage but we liked the pizza and sauce alot so we still went there for pizza about every 2 weeks or so....then we heard they changed owers. We went there tonite for first time since new ownership and probably wont be going back as the service was still very sketchy even though we counted about 10 employees?? They are all over place and seem very scatterered and just not consistent service at all....but the real kicker was the pizza was very bland and the sauce is different than before and we were so disappointed.....we probably wont be going back there and this place is so close and convenient...what a disappointment...dont understand why Anthem cant have any good restaurants that consistently have good service and good food? Absolute WORST SERVICE I have ever experienced. My friend and I came in and sat at the bar to order a small pizza to go. First of all the bartender did not get us the drinks we ordered, instead she went outside to smoke a cigarette. We waited over 10 minutes just for 2 drinks. also we sat there and watched the bartender eat her meal AT THE BAR TOP and not once offered to see why our order is taking so long. After that they brought us the wrong to go order. We ended up waiting 45 minutes just for one small pizza and when we finally got our pizza and went home. we then realized that the pizza was made wrong. We went back and asked them to remake it, however the lady in front said that they already turned off the ovens for the night even though their flyer says they dont close until 10 and it was only 9. At that point we spoke to a manger who was extremely rude and disrespectful. He refused to refund us our money and also allowed his staff to be disrespectful to us as well. At the end we did not get our money or the pizza back. They basially stole from us. This place does not deserve to be in business, the owners have no clue how to properly run a restruant. They are not clean and do not follow health codes.I AM ENCOURAGING EVERYONE TO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE. They definietly need to close down for good. read more
