Don't come here for the pizza, but do come if you want to hear some live music. Most places out here can't make pizza well (I blame the water), so if you think you're gonna get a NYC or Chicago slice, you're delusional. I ordered a deep dish with mushrooms and it was fairly underwhelming. I came out here because a buddy of mine had a last minute gig to play, so I came to support him. Band was good, played covers and some really good guitar riffs happening. Waitress was wonderful and really nice. I didn't want to drink alcohol, and she had a bunch of non alcoholic beer choices so that was nice. My pizza and two non alcoholic Beck's came to $27. You just really can't beat the price. I also ended up siting with some nice guys, randomly both originally from NYC and that made the night fun. Who would think 3 New Yorkers ended up at table listening to a band in Anthem? It made me miss home... Karaoke got started after the band finished. This seems like a nice local joint to come hang out, but if you don't live up this way, it's probably not worth the drive unless a friend is playing. read more

Another great visit to Rosati's pizza Anthem. Food was great. I had the meetball sandwich. The meatball had a nice juicy taste with a tiny bit of spice. It came with 3 huge meatballs covered in a big mound of motzerra cheese. The bun was toasted and fresh. My husband had the chicken parmeshan sandwich. It was a big patty and generously covered in cheese & sauce. Hearty and filling. He also ordered a salad that was huge. All fresh ingredients. He liked the shaved parmesian pieces on top. The waitress kept the drinks flowing. You can come here to eat by yourself or with your family. I can't wait for football as they have an abundance of TV'S. read more

We drove up from Phoenix for my husband's birthday weekend. He had seen the food and was dying to try it, regardless of the reviews or lower ratings--and since it was his birthday, not mine, we went for it. Let me tell you, the food was amazing. We ordered breadsticks, French fries, a 10" deep dish, and a 10" thin crust. Everything was so good, there was no way we could finish it all. We boxed it up and happily ate leftovers for the next few days . The food was yummy, crispy, and absolutely worth it. Our young waitress was super sweet and kept checking in, even letting us know how much time we had left since the deep dish takes about 40 minutes. The worse service I have had in a very long time. This is my experience-hopefully not indicative of how others have been served. I did not feel welcome at all-the "hostess' passed us by several times before I had to ask to be seated. The "seat yourself" sign was turned around so I never saw that option. After the initial drink and food order we were not checked on until the food (after a long wait) was served. The $18.99 lasagna was not hot-lukewarm at best. The "garlic bread" was a garlic stick-cold and hard. It was definitely not a good dining experience. It may have been fine for a few beers and watching the game, but not for dinner. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at Rosati's Pizza. The customer service was awful from start to finish. Definitely didn't feel welcomed. The level of incompetence and immaturity was shocking. Simple requests were not taken seriously, and the overall attitude made the experience uncomfortable. After waiting the 30 minutes for my carry out order, I was told it would be another 15 minutes for my pizza. At that point, I asked the girl to just cancel my order. I ended up leaving without my food and asked for a refund. The girl said she would ask her manager. I left and called and the girl was under the impression she put me in hold and was laughing at me because I asked for a refund. The manager got on the phone and told me she would have to ask the owner. I was then told the pizzas were already done, which was confusing and inconsistent with what I had been told in person. Not sure why the music needs to be so loud. This place is going downhill. We have lived in Anthem for 18 years and dined here many times. Went in with my wife on a Thursday night. At 5PM the inside was basically empty, probably due to the smoke smell inside the restaurant. The sign inside the front door said to seat yourself. We chose to sit outside away from the smoke smell. Go figure. Once outside, we found an open table and waited. One server dropped off some slices to a nearby table and we tried to wave him down. No eye contact. The bartender continued to fill and service drinks but did not even make an effort to recognize any other tables. After 15 minutes of this we left and went to a restaurant that actually wants customers. In the 6 years we've been in Anthem, I'm beyond amazed this place stays in business. I cannot recommend this place whatsoever. I'll go out of my way to patronize an establishment that actually wants the business. I will not give my money to those that do not. read more

I ordered a deep dish pepperoni. The service was fine, it was ready when i got there. It tasted good. The problem is there was one piece of pepperoni on each slice near the crust. If you compare it to Lou Malnatis it was light on cheese and heavy on sauce. I assume they knew the heavy sauce covered the rest and i would never know there was only 8 pieces of pepperoni. This place is more of a bar than a restaurant these days. Is seedy and they had a less than average live band or guy trying. Not sure which. As a native Chicagoan...good pizza is ESSENTIAL!!! Living so far from the mecca is challenging. Imagine how excited we were to discover a Chicago staple tucked nicely in Arizona. The wings were amazing, crispy and sauced perfectly and the pizza... I think I had a religious experience first bite! It was PERFECTION!!! Took awhile to seat us. You can just seat yourself I guess cause that's what I saw some people do. Thought this place was small but it's huge cause it has a bar & patio area too. Got the wings mild. The sauce comes on the side which is interesting. But the wings are good. Got a small pizza. It was good & cheesy. My sister got the chicken parmigiana. It wasn't that great. was really impressed with this location. The reviews on the website were mixed, but had to check it out because I just moved to Anthem. I had the antipasto salad which was filled with good amounts of vegetables and meats, and had a slice of pizza. I've never had a Rosati's Pizza before , had a thin slice. It was very good. I noticed that there were a lot of deep dish pizzas which looked extremely well. Service was excellent. It was a great place to watch the game outdoor patio would be nice on a great day, but indoors is very comfortable too. I will definitely be back. read more

I so wanted to give this place a 5 star review but getting sick was not what i wanted. First of all, I was really impressed with the walk in space itself, half being a sit down restaurant and other part being able to walk in and order or pick up, they even have delivery (if you live close). Then we ordered the 14 inch double dough with pepperoni and pineapple and got a Free Offer with the Yelp app, for a free order of Dough Nuggets! Great got excited! But somehow, the order got lost or overlooked and the wait went from a 20 minute to a 55 minute wait. So after "they" made the mistake of overlooking our order, they gave us a receipt to void our pay and give us the order for free. But had to wait for weekend to end to show in the bank. It is now Monday and we never got our refund. So after all the mess up, the waiting, and driving home, we finally get to eat and relax! But then we noticed, that the pizza looked like a THIN crust and not a Double Dough, so that was disappointing, but we were hungry and just wanted to eat by this time. The dough nuggets were great! Tasty, and addicting, but the marinara sauce (or rather tomato sauce) was so bland, no flavor, nothing, I actually had to add salt and pepper and garlic to give it flavor. We each, (hubs and I) had at least 3 slices each and rested for about 20 minutes, when both of our stomachs started turning, we ended up in the toilet all night, not very pleasant. Unfortunately, the next day we decided to finish the pizza for lunch, and this time my father in law partook in some pizza as well. Again, 20 or so minutes later, the 3 of us were in the toilet for the rest of the day. We had to throw out the rest of the pizza. Whoever was in the kitchen cooking that night was either sick with a cold, or they didn't have proper hand washing techniques. This week my wife and I visited Rosati's for some pizza. Being from Illinois, we know Rosati's well because it all started there for them. We were in time for happy hour as it turned out but we really came for the pizza. The weather was nice so we sat outside. Unfortunately for us this is where all the smokers hang out - anywhere from 5 to 15 at a time when we were there. Smoking is allowed in a designated area on the patio immediately adjacent to the dining area. This stinks (literally) when you are trying to enjoy your meal. Despite being outdoors, the smoke didn't really dissipate. The wind blew it right to us. I figure Rosati's is not going to change the designated smoking area as this feature seems to be large part of their revenue flow. Our waiter was very attentive but not intrusive. Really excellent service. He mentioned that it was his first week on the job. Great hire by Rosati's. The pizza was tasty and the ice cold happy hour beers were a value. I thought I would share our experience so people know what to expect. I wish Rosati's would consider moving the smoking area to satisfy all patrons. read more

First time there, our order was messed up. I only ordered 1 Pizza! Tried them again today. (second time). I ordered a Antipasto Salad w/Dressing on the side. And 1 order of Lasagna. It comes with Garlic Bread. 1. Guess what they forgot? Yup-the Dressing!!!!!!!!!!! 2. The Garlic Bread was horrible. My tip of my fork was taller than the bread!!!!! 3. My husband and I sat down in front of the bartender. We sat for 8 minutes and finally asked for service. When the drinks were enpty we put them right in front of the bartender. Again we had to ask for service. At that point we decided to watch if any of the four behind the bar ask anyone if they wanted another drink. We watched an entire football game and no one ever asked if anyone wanted Another One. The staff stayed by the computer screen and talked. This place has the worse service and was not crowded. So the picture is supposed to be Bruschetta priced at $7.99. Basically it was burned/extra crisp bread rounds with a plastic cup of tomatoes, cheese and garlic in the middle. It was a completely build your own scenario. The staff doesn't seem to know how to split up the service of the bar tables. We had at least 3 people trying to help us so if you ordered a refill from one the next one comes by and asks the exact same thing. Pasta was a bit overdone (price was great). Food is still acceptable quality but for Rosati's I have a higher expectation especially because I've been a life long customer. Ordered the $5.50 lunch special at the Anthem location of a slice of pizza (sausage) and green salad. The salad was amazing, fresh and generous. The thin crust pizza slice was good sized and the sausage was very generous, along with ample amount of cheese and good seasonings. The price is awesome!
