Rosa is one of my favorite pizza spots in nyc I've been coming here since i was a kid. My go to slice is a taco slice. Today i finally switched it up and got a Cesar. If you plan on going to get a taco slice i recommend calling and asking if they have any. They are typically always sold out. I'll give their food/Pizza a 3/5 but they deff deserve a step up star for their great service. All around they package your food with care, heat it up appropriately, treat you with respect. The pizza is absolutely amazing, the service is wonderful and efficient, there is lots of seating, and many more great things I can't think about at the moment. I 100% recommend the rigatoni slice, especially if you love pasta. The Caesar slice is absolutely delicious, I've ordered it every single time without fail for the past few months because that's how good it is. I'd like to tell everyone about what occurred to me today at this dreadful pizzeria. First and foremost, the people that work there are the most racist people. They were racist against my freinds and me. They treated a minor with contempt and spoke to us in the most revolting manner possible. I couldn't believe what was happening to me. This is the harshest form of discrimination I've ever encountered. Second, despite being a paid customer, I was denied service. Despite the fact that I had already paid for my food, they refused to provide me the food I deserved. They were rude and disrespectful to us, then proceeded to phone the cops for no apparent reason. We didn't raise any hassles or issues; all I wanted was the food I had paid for. They harassed my friend despite the fact that he was not impolite in any manner. This is one of three of my favorite places to get pizza in NYC; and with good reason as it has a solid space of eating especially with the cold winter creeping up slowly. Pizza wise it's pretty damn good pizza- close to 5/5 but not perfect, cause there's no such thing as perfect pizza. The Sicilian slices were well cooked and not too greasy with the cheese and had the eighth amount of dough so it wouldn't be like eating a giant price of bread. Service was solid as we ordered from the side where the cashier area is and a waitress asked for any requests for drinks. Prices were pretty solid for NYC pizza goes and the location is close to other places to chill and walk around. Great place for family and friends to chill. read more

I ordered a cheese slice, a white slice, a chicken/bacon/honey mustard slice and chicken/tomato slice (I shared, sadly). The plain cheese slice was perfectly cooked. Cheese was gooey and plentiful, and the sauce was exactly what you think of when you think of pizza. The crust..this thing was insanely delicious, too! By far, one of the best pizzerias in the area. Their specialty slices are amazing, particularly their Caesar Salad slice. They've also got some of the best Sicilian slices in Queens - probably on par with L&Bs of Brooklyn. We routinely order a large number of pies for office functions (8-12 pies) and the counter staff will throw in a tray of AMAZING garlic knots with the order.
