If you want a no frills manicure; pedicure this place will do the job. It is NOT " spa like" but the end result is the same as those with that type of ambiance. If you are in the area, need to get your nails done this place will accomplish that, but do not expect a jasmine scent in the air while soothing music plays in the background in an expansive spa. read more

This was the absolute worst nail shop I have ever been too in my entire life. I spent over 2 hours in here, to leave and be completely unsatisfied. I've never walked away feeling like I just wanted to take it completely off and once I complained, they didn't want to help rectify the situation. The nail tech said she had only done dip 3 times in her life which I don't think constitutes being a professional skilled service you offer. The dip polish was too thick and I left with nail polish all over my fingers. I would absolutely NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!!!! read more

I am only giving this review 2 stars because they were nice. I got a mani and pedi and literally 1 day later the paint on my nails came off in sheets. It didn't chip, it came off in chunks. Also, the way she painted my toes, you could see the difference between the first layer and the last one, sloppily done. I upgraded my pedi and the lady hardly scrubbed the bottom of my feet or rubbed them. That's the best part of a pedi- the mini massage! I hate to leave a bad review because the staff was really nice and she did do a good job cleaning my cuticles and getting out an ingrown nail with no discomfort. BUT the shellac is really sloppy, not nearly enough coats, and it's patchy in some parts that don't have any paint. It's a pretty color but not the one I requested. The worst part is the massage was so short it was basically non-existent and that's what I was really looking forward to. read more

Bait and switch. Sign outside says $18 spa pedicure. Inside, the description of spa pedicure says you get 2 choices from a list (callous removal, marine mask, salt scrub, paraffin wax). So I chose 2. It was not great but acceptable. And the price was $25. Additionally, the shop is cluttered, displays faded posters, and plays loud pop music. Spa Pedi Package 1 includes a choice of 2 of the following: Callus Eliminator, Marine Masque, Parafin Wax, Sea Salt Glow, and French Pedicure, PLUS a free additional hot towel wrap. Spa Pedi Package 2 includes Milk & Honey Sea Salts, Milk & Honey Butter Lotion, and a free additional Hot Stone Foot Massage or Callus Eliminator. Both packages cost $25! Incredible. Everything is very clean and the spa chairs are all new looking with a chrome-like finish on the tub. The lady who did my pedi was nothing short of amazing; she was very thorough, even when scrubbing off every last callous and applying the masque in between my toes. (Gross, I know, but it felt great!) The regular spa pedi without all the fancy additions is $18, or $16 if you come in M-W. But for just a few extra bucks, go ahead and treat yourself! It's so worth it, considering many nail shops have a starting price of $25-30 for a spa pedicure. I really wish I lived closer to this side of town, but, unfortunately, I was only at Rosa N Nail the other day for a business appointment and needed a pedi after the day was over. I'm always looking for new places to get mani/pedis. This place is close to my office and I felt was worthy of exploring. They do shellac manis for only $25 - this includes French tip. They also do spa pedis for $25. The pedis include your choice of two treatments: callus remover, sea salt masque, parrafin wax treatment or a couple more options that unfortunately I can't remember. They also include a hot towel wrap. I've been very pleased with their work and the price for the services. My only complaint is they are crazy/busy from 5 to 7 pm during the week. If they had more employees, this wouldn't be an issue and there wouldn't be much of a wait. They told me it would be a 20 min wait this week when I went in for a mani. I didn't think that was unreasonable. So, I waited, and waited...and waited. I actually lost track of time because I was playing with my new phone. I finally looked at the clock and realized I had been waiting close to 45 mins!! The lady was very apologetic and started my mani a few mins later. If I had been watching the clock all along, I might have left. However. I really needed my nails done that day and it was already too late to go somewhere else. I've never been on the weekends or before 5 pm during the week, but I'm thinking I might need to try it out so I can avoid a lengthy wait. read more

I have been to Rosa N Nails twice. Both times I made an appointment, arrived on time, but still had to wait at least 20 minutes. I agree with fellow yelped Jill M. regarding the bait an switch on the posted sign. The posted sign says $18 Spa pedicure Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It was a Tuesday on my last visit and I inquired over the phone regarding the special. The woman I spoke with said yes they had a spa pedicure special for $18. When I arrived I was picking out which to add ons I was going to get and the man (who seems to manage the place) said that the $18 special was for a regular pedicure. On my first visit I paid $18.00 for a pedicure however, it was on a Friday and was no different than my $25.00 service except you get to pick two additional options. I had a shellec manicure which lasted for less than a week and my pedicure started chipping with 3 days. Definately not worth my time or money as there are a ton of other salons. If my pedicure cannot last a week, I shall continue my quest to find a salon that has at least some talent. On to the next place. read more

This place is pretty much awesome. It's a little dated (they've been there since 1998) but for the price, it is well worth every penny. Went for the first time for a pedi and was pleasantly surprised for what I got for the price. I did the $25 spa pedicure with french tips and sea salt and my lady actually took her time to do everything. Everything she did was very thorough and far from rushed. I'm not used to getting such thorough treatment! Everyone was super friendly and I sat there playing price is right on the tv along with the other workers, haha. I realize some people may feel uncomfortable going to a place that is not visually top of the line but at the end of the day, a good pedicure is a good pedicure and wouldn't you rather pay $25 for it? read more

Update: I am so mad. The day after I had these done one of my nails chipped badly. I went back to have it redone and they were nice and fixed it quickly for no cost. Then the next day I had another nail break and almost lost the whole nail. Went back again and the same girl fixed it and was nice about it. Hoping I wouldn't have to deal with that anymore, and chalked it up to a fluke I went on my way. Not even 5 days later ALL of my nails were chipped and broken off. I'm not hard on my nails and I've had dip done many times and it easily lasts 2-3 weeks no problem. By this time I went back, quite frustrated to get them soaked off. When I went in the man at the front yelled at me saying "we've already fixed two nails for you, you've had this on for 2 weeks now and we won't fix this for you. You breaking them, not our fault, you already got 2 nails for free we're not going to help you. Gel doesn't work with your nails and it's already been 2 weeks". Not only was it not gel polish, but it had only been 5 days. When I told him I just wanted it taken off he very rudely said it would be $5, and it wasn't until I told him that I would take them off myself if he was going to charge me, that he agreed to take off the dip. Small and clean and organized, you can tell the regulars definatly come back and I see why. Ladies are nice and helpful. They are not trying to take your money either like some other places Ive heard. $25.00 for shellac. When they tell you things you are not suppose to do like mixing other studf with shellac thats a good and honest place that knows what they are doing. Used sterile tools too. Really really really good! Idk what's up with these other reviews cause I had the best experience here with my mom tonight. We came during the freeze when every other place was closed. I called an hour and a half before close and went in to get a full set with chrome and a pedicure, my mom got a fill and a pedicure. They doubled up on us and took their time to give great service. Because I chose to get chrome last minute, and my mom got regular gel, it ended up taking longer and they were happy to stay an EXTRA HOUR after closing and did an incredible job. AND had the most pleasant attitudes the entire service. The price was right and the service was great. Will definitely be returning. read more

Nails are decently pretty but customer service aspect could be improved. Took an extra 10 minutes due to nail tech stopping frequently to talk with co-workers about buying shrimp. Even brought one over to the nail station. Not exactly good customer service but cheap and nails are thinner than most places. Just would have been nice not to go over my lunch break due to their constant stopping to chat. I don't mind them socializing as long as they don't stop frequently to maintain eye contact with co-worker wasting my lunch break time. read more

Went there yesterday for a refill of colored powder acrylic. First off, they did not have the color I wanted. I ended up choosing the black. The nail tech, I don't know her name, didn't file down my original colored powder (pink) enough so when she would buff the top layer down the pink would start to show through... It was really unsightly. She had to redo them about three times. She eventually got so irritated with it that she kind of just gave up. Walked away two hours later with a really awful refill that cost 35 bucks. She didn't even buff after the last application... Will never go again and will never recommend. This is my back-up nail shop. I only make appointments with Ty, the daughter of the owners. While everyone is friendly, I feel Ty is the only one who pays close attention to detail. One of the best nail salons in the area. They were clean even though the place is a bit dated and small but the staff was super nice. They weren't very versed in nail designs, it seemed like there was only one lady that knew how to do them, but she was busy so another lady decided to 'give it try', though it wasn't the exact design I picked out, she tried her hand at it and it did look good in the end. They are VERY reasonably priced, with some salons charging upwards of $40 for a pedi, I was more than happy to pay $25; and they have two different ones you can chose from at that price.
