It's very very salty and this is not ramen. There is no umami flavor and it's just all wrong. I would pass on any of the soups, but may the banh mi/boba are ok? Except banh mi and ramen = shouldn't even be together on a menu!

Roppongi aims to build a well-nourished, healthy international community through tasty, nutrient-dense, inclusive dietary options! The Deco District fast-casual eatery offers Japanese-American cuisine along with seafood options and snacks that pay homage to the Latinx culture of the Roppongi staff and its new owner, Catalina, who has worked at Roppongi and sister restaurants The Vault and Elote for nine years. Roppongi makes you smile the moment you walk in, with its cozy feel and all of the bright colors and animated characters that line the walls. The eatery was aptly named after a district in Tokyo known for its art, dining, nightlife, spirit, and bright lights. Customer service was solid. The staff was welcoming and fielded questions regarding the menu. Roppongi features half-off ramen on Thursdays starting at 5 p.m., so I ordered the edamame, pork belly ramen, and sake. The edamame was fine, but not memorable. I prefer more flavor and/or char. I did like the sake. I do not like everyone's ramen, but I actually enjoyed the broth and most of the components of the pork belly ramen. The miso-marinated egg, ramen noodles, and scallions were well prepared. The pork belly itself was a little tough, and I was looking for more flavor. But for $6 ramen, I don't have major complaints! My neighbor's Bento Bites looked really yummy. Roppongi has daily lunch specials and offers 1/2 rice bowls on Fridays. I am also really curious about their kakigori, which is shaved ice and ice cream.

I felt like I was in Japan. They have foreign music playing and the space is filled with all the hello kitty and other animated characters. They offer ramen, rice bowls, salads, boba teas, sake, Japanese shaved ice, & even options for the kids. They also have appetizers if you are looking for a light bite. I got the Vegan ramen with gluten free noodles. It was AMAZING! I believe the broth base is coconut so it was very creamy and full of flavor. Not bland at all. The tofu was well seasoned and filling. I also tried knew of the Japanese watermelon sodas. Not a big soda drinker but it tasted good. Staff is very nice. In the heart of downtown Tulsa. If you're a ramen fan, I would definitely check this place out.

Strawberry Boba (this was really bad tasting with hard bobas no strawberry flavor and a weird white film)

I rarely ever give 1 star but we were visiting and came here for the first time, got 2 boba teas, they were the worst boba tea I have ever had. I got the strawberry boba tea and it had no strawberry flavor, hard bobas, with a thick white film on the side that the girl at the counter said was coconut milk cream? We drank about 1/4 and ended up throw both cups away at the hotel.

Jim and i tried Roppongi today and i loved it!! i got the chicken rice bowl with teriyaki sauce, very delicious and a good portion size for the price, jim got fried rice bowl with steak and ginger soy sauce.. 10/10. the restaurant itself has inside and outside seating, its too cold and windy for outside, the inside is small and kinda warm but over all very cute. the people working were very polite and food came pretty quick!!

Finally decided to try this place. Will not be back. I'm sick and ordered take out. What better to get than ramen. I am so disappointed. Soup was just rice noodles and protein. No broth. My gyoza are NOT GYOZAS. It wonton triangles with a past and so thin

Great place for ramen and friendly staff! My daughter loves to stop and get a boba tea here. Last night she got an adorable Stitch drawing on her cup!

Inauthentic, but tasty ramen with vegan options. Coming from Vancouver, we're spoiled with high-quality ramen, many of which also offer vegan offerings nowadays. I was craving some ramen and saw this place has a vegan ramen ($10 plus tax), so I decided to stop in for lunch during the week. You order up at the counter and they bring it out to you. The ramen came out in about 10 minutes. The soup came with lots of veggies (kale, red pepper, tomato, bamboo shoots, and green onion), plenty of well-cooked ramen noodles, and four pieces of nicely seasoned fried tofu. The broth was not that complex or refined, but it has a nice salty, umami character to it that was rich and very pleasant. I enjoyed this very much. Not as authentic or high-quality as Jinya, but for a cheaper, better value option, this does the job. Also, the service is extremely friendly. Recommended.

We tried Roppongi tonight and I'm so glad we did! Apparently it's half price ramen on Thursday's! We got 2 ramen, 1 boba, and 1 coconut tea for $20! The girl working the counter was helpful and suggested a few things for us. Everyone working was nice and the food was quick, hot, and delicious! Will definitely be our Thursday spot from now on!

I only come here on Thursdays for their 1/2 price ramen night! I can honestly say there is no better meal than their chicken ramen for the price. There's something about the hint of rosemary that they add to the chicken that makes it pretty much the ultimate comfort meal (assuming you're a soupy person in the way that I'm a soupy person). Also, their decor is so fun and inviting - think Hello Kitty without the cat.

Lunch spécial with miso ramen & salad, $2 more to upgrade beverage to one of the boba teas

Get the lunch special! Delicious garlicky miso ramen broth, and the kale/daikon salad is so delicious. Love the textures, ginger zing, toasted sesame seeds, and those little strips of daikon are tasty.

Two stars because I like the almond milk boba option, and this place was nicely decorated....but the boba was nasty, & they were rude!? I barely give bad reviews but this place was super disappointing, it was my second time trying it, so I thought after years it would be better than my first time. Anyway - I walk in and somebody is sitting in the order counter, the employee sees me and doesn't say a word? For several mins? I had to walk outside to order through the window?? The whole story doesn't matter, basically they *the short guy & the dude w the beard* were rude - and my boba drink was nasty. I do like how they have almond milk boba, i just wish it had been tasty.

    Small straw - large boba.

There are claw machines at the front and back and sketchbooks with colored pencils on every table so you can draw while waiting for your food. The service is friendly - you order at the front counter and get a buzzer that buzzes when your food is ready at the pickup counter. The boba drinks are good. They have a decent selection of milk teas and fruit drinks as well as toppings. The boba pearls are done right, freshly made so they are soft and chewy like they're supposed to be. Once I ordered popping boba on accident (honey boba on the menu) thinking it was regular boba sweetened with honey and did not like it. They graciously switched it out with regular boba for me which I truly appreciated. My one recommendation would be to adjust the sweetness level if you prefer lighter drinks. The last time I visited I forgot to ask and it was a bit on the sweet side for me. I've also ordered poke and teriyaki bowls from them before and it was ok. The food was fine, it just didn't stand out to me. I usually come here for the drinks but would give the food another try given the good service and atmosphere. They have ramen, rice bowls, and appetizers like chicken karaage and kimchi fries. Overall I'd recommend Gung Ho as a solid hangout spot that's centrally located with good drinks and plenty of food options.
