Got seated quickly during lunch on a saturday and got chicken katsu ramen and drunken noodles. Both were very tasty and the portions were a good size.

This is an interesting Asian fusion restaurant located in a strip mall. At first I was a little confused, it was unclear to me if you ordered at the front, and picked your food near the register, but soon after I realized it was a sit down spot. The waiters are all very friendly, and a menu was bought out quickly. The choices definitely varied! I don't know if I would call it a fusion restaurant... maybe an all inclusive Asian restaurant. They had options such as Taiwanese beef noodle soup, sushi, kimchi fried rice etc... My pad Thai did not taste authentic, but I loved the chewiness of the noodles. I wished it was slightly spicier with a punchier flavor.

Used to like this place but it's gone downhill since. The concept is nice and the first time I went the purple rice and tofu combination was nice but the last few times I've gone the food has been flavorless and too greasy and just plain disappointing. It's a nice spot for dinner or date night but unfortunately the food is not up to par anymore

Came here for dinner after work. I am not sure why this place is not getting more review stars. We ordered a few different dishes and every dish came out excellent - from presentation to taste. Not to mention the service is very good too. The interior looks nice though a little loud.

Edamame and the roots ramen!

The vibe is relaxing and dim once inside, it is usually busy around dinner time sometimes there is a wait but it is very short. The ramen was HUGE I took half of it home & the pork buns were fluffy and delicious. Fantastic service and presentation of food, good portions and definitely worth a trip over.

Decent place for ramen in the Princeton area! My family came here for early dinner at 4pm on Dec. 26, 2023. It was not too busy and our party of 7 could be accommodated. Roots ramen was tasty with pork, soft boiled eggs, and Shanghai greens. The appetizers were nice with the edamame and pork dumplings. My wife enjoyed the drunken noodles dish. Interior of restaurant is quite pleasant and bright. Parking is easy as it's in the same shopping complex as Whole Foods. Service can be a bit slow if it is crowded. But overall this is a good option for pan-Asian food in Princeton!

Reheated left overs: Bowl with purple rice, general chicken, broccoli, and dumplings.

Service was slow, I went with a friend and you'd think you would get sat right away when there's two of you. However, bigger parties were walking in and being sat before us. We noticed they were waiting to give us a smaller table; meanwhile, we got the most food. Food was good! Haven't been in awhile and I do feel it's changed in quality a little bit. Atmosphere is always nice in there in terms of decor. Still a good pick and should try if you like Asian cuisine.

The best option for Asian food and sushi in the area if you eat gluten-free. The menu specifically notes which items are gluten-free or can be prepared gluten-free. The sushi rolls are all of the standard fare. I've tried a number of rolls, both gluten-free and not, and they have all been solid. The quality is great for the price point. Outside of the sushi, I have had the wonton soup which was really good as well.

Food is uninspiring. Atmosphere is nice. Service is very poor. We only came because they have parking.

I liked the w.i.d.e. variety of asian food offerings. Dim sum, bowls, sushi. . .A yummy, affordable Asian fusion spot.

Who doesn't love chocolate?…read more It wasn't until 1502 that the Europeans embraced the goodness of this yummy treat, when Columbus, on his fourth voyage to the Americas, seized a canoe filled with cocoa beans and brought them to Europe. It was bitter and did not catch on. People couldn't understand why the South American natives loved the stuff. It took about a hundred years until a group of friars added honey to the bitter liquid, making it sweeter and much tastier. With several locations in northern New Jersey, we went to Totowa right off on Union Blvd. Thanks to my partner's sister's recommendation, we arrived at Chocolate House as first-timers to satisfy our sweet tooth. My partner and I were greeted by the staff upon entering this clean and bright interior, who handed us a menu. It featured crêpes, waffles, cheesecakes, pancakes, shakes, and sundaes. We decided on the Strawberry, Banana, and Nutella Crêpe and Brownie Fudge Waffle. The food was exceptional, far superior to any other place we've tried in a long time. The attention to detail in presentation and taste elevates the experience. Seating is limited on a few tables. Price was reasonable, and the service was friendly and quick. We enjoyed our experience and can recommend this place.

Creperie on Ludlow St came up in my search and we happened to be down that way on Sunday. I'm also a huge ice cream and gelato fan, but husband is lactose intolerant so he prefers non-dairy. Last year we discovered the amazing vegan ice cream at Orchard Grocery, but I wanted the real thing this trip and he apparently hadn't wanted a frozen treat at all so wouldn't do Orchard Grocer for himself and a different place for me. Happy medium? Share a good crêpe! We found it at Crêperie. SO many choices, many similar to ones we loved in France. Extensive selection, but it didn't take long to decide on the apple-walnut-caramel crêpe to share, costing not much more than 2 ice creams. We watched the lone young man as he poured batter onto the round griddle to just the perfect thinness; as he expertly flipped it; as he loaded on plenty of apple compote, plenty of walnuts, and gently squeezed caramel sauce. Then he folded it into a neat rectangle, scooped it into an exactly the same size pan, flipped the whole thing over onto another griddle and left it to heat while he made a crêpe for the person behind us. At exactly the right moment (was he watching the clock? or maybe he's just THAT good!), he flipped it over, slid the crêpe onto a plate, artistically drizzled more caramel sauce on top and then gently shook some powdered sugar over it. Handed me 2 forks and knives and we sat on stools at the counter for our Sunday afternoon treat! Excellent! They have several savory crêpes (in Paris, those were usually buckwheat crêpes called galettes) and many sweet ones. Unfortunately it's more of a takeout place, with just the few stools at a counter inside, and a couple of small tables outside. I'm still looking for a genuine Parisian-style restaurant with a good selection of galettes and crêpes - but this was a great find and I definitely recommend it to you!

After more than six years an update was due. While it's still not quite 5 stars, I'm finding I like…read morethe market more than my previous review stated. Sadly a few of the vendors I mentioned are not here anymore( Amish market and 2 small bakeries) the new additions make up for them in terms of diversity. There is now a vegan cafe that I'm remiss in not trying, a tea shop, coffee shop, Caribbean food, mushroom grower, bulk foods and a few more I'm probably forgetting. Here are my personal favs in no order: Hambone Opera- it took me way too long to try it. The best pulled chicken and brisket that I've ever had, some say that about the ribs too. Pied piper - home made pirogi, stuffed cabbage, meatballs and potato salads all great. Pasties are top notch too. Kreyol Kafe- Caribbean food that is comforting in all aspects. Try the Mac n cheese! Pineland farms - all produce is great here but this is my number one choice for corn in the whole of Mercer county and beyond. Possibly the best for blueberries as well. Terra Momo bread - I could never make it to Princeton location early enough to ensue a good selection. They are still growing their business here but most Saturday's I've noticed a good variety of items available at noon. Any loaves are great here, but I always order the chocolate brioche treat. Cartlidges meats - amazing steaks and other cleaner than super market meats. Zooks Amish chicken pot pies are here too! The one draw back to all of this good local stuff is that it comes at a premium. I've been told that farm markets were not always like this. Hell, my parents loved them because they were saving a buck. Now with rising food costs they have had to raise the prices even higher. When produce is in season there are deals to be had at some stands, but for early in the season items expect to pay dearly. I think you pay for what you get here for the most part. The corn may be .25 higher per ear, but it's been picked that morning at a location you can be aware of. And the same goes for many other produce items found here. I'll support this place as long as I live here, and more frequently when I know it's attracting diverse and high quality purveyors of all foods.

This whole place is so necessary. I only stepped into one place inside of the farmers market, but…read morethere was so many options to choose from. Of course it was produce, it was cuts of meat, it was clothes, plants, and flowers, and other things. The one place that we went to that way for some reason, the worker took longer than usual to get to the counter. We waited like 20 minutes, then went to the car waited 20 minutes more in the car and by the time we came back, the person was there.. I didn't wanna leave because I really wanted the item. It was beef, brisket, and this particular day it was delicious.
