I use to come here really often, but the last times I have gotten food from here I noticed a huge decrease in the quality of the food. When we craved a little Sushi fix, we ventured into this local establishment. The interior is nice and has been renovated since some of the previous occupants. I'm not sure how long Yummy Fusion has been here, but this was my first opportunity to try this restaurant. We went with lunch specials, which are available on weekends here! With a choice of soup or salad along with an entree or sushi it was a nice plus for a late Saturday afternoon lunch. My hot and sour soup was really great, one of the better ones in the area. The service was efficient. The sushi was just ok, but for the price and convenience we would do take-out from here next time. read more

Food went well. Server not so much. What happened to the Chinese young man server the first time we visited? This server didn't want to work. Caught her staring me down with a nasty scowl on her face. After 3 times, my husband asked " Is something bothering you"? She shrugged " no" but clearly it was. I'm surprised by the negative reviews here, only because that hasn't been my experience. My husband and daughter went here first and had salmon sushi and red curry. Both were excellent. They liked it so much, I went with them the next time and we all had lunch. I had the red curry, my daughter had sesame chicken, and my husband had kung pao chicken. We also had cheese rangoon and thai spring rolls. Everything was excellent, the red curry and cheese rangoons were some of the best I've ever had. We just got take out from them, I got thai basil with vegetables, and my husband got braised pork belly with chestnut. The thai basil was absolutely delicious. My husband liked the pork belly but said it was a bit fatty and greasy. We've always had very good service, everyone's always been nice and helpful. The restaurant is clean and well-appointed. *This review is based off a take out order* My order was a chicken tempura roll, sweet potato roll, and veggie lo mein. The rolls were perfect and delicious. I have no complaints. The lo mein was great as well and it had carrots, snap peas, broccoli and onion. I did have to wait about 5-7 mins more than the estimated wait time but given that it was a Friday evening around 6pm and they were about to get hit with their dinner rush. It wasn't anything crazy. The place inside looks really clean and updated. I'm not sure what the establishment was before but they are adversiting as a new place. Definitely want to try dining in and sharing that experience. read more

DO NOT get the bubble tea from here. We got 3 different flavors and could not take another sip after trying. The taste is nasty, like sink water. Leaves a bad aftertaste in your mouth and the boba pearls were not good quality. The sushi is good, but entrees also lack flavor. Noodles were dry and portion sizes so small. I've been here for sushi. Great vegan/vegetarian options. There are a few unusual rolls that were a nice surprise for the vegan in our group. One was the zen roll which included tofu (like inari tofu skin) in the roll and the coco roll (includes shitaki mushroom). Their sweet potato roll was also very good. Before Yummy Fusion, we were long time patrons of Sushi King. After SK was sold, we continued coming here to Yummy Fusion to give it a chance and see if their sushi was just as good as SK's was. We've tried various items on this menu over several visits, from the sushi to Thai to Chinese and none of it was anything worth coming back for. Last night, we ordered from Yummy since my son wanted a specific dish and Yummy was the nearest location that he could order from. We decided to order take out and that was the first big mistake on Friday night. We should have known as we had been to the restaurant before on a busy night and it took over 1.5 hours to get our food. When you order take out now, you are directed to a call center that takes orders for their multiple locations and sends it over to the restaurant. My husband was put on hold multiple times and it took him an hour to place his take out order. He was beyond frustrated. The only good news was that the food would be ready in 15 mins for pickup. My husband also noted that there should be no sesame seeds in the dish (it was salmon sashimi over chirashi rice) and was assured that there would be no sesame seeds. My son (who is only 8) has a life threatening allergy to sesame seeds (and yes, he's had to take 2 epipens to save him from an ingestion in the past). When we brought the food home and opened the bag, we first discovered that there was no soup or salad with the 2 entrees we ordered. A little disappointing but no big deal. Then when we got to the salmon dish, mixed in with the salmon and rice was a sesame seeds all over. We couldn't even pick it out since it was mixed into everything. We called back about the order and was put on hold 5-6 different times, then told the manager would call my husband back. He did call maybe 10 minutes later, but by this time it had been well over 2 hours, been transferred and put on hold multiple times and we still didn't have a dinner for my son. My husband explained the situation, and there was never an apology from the manager. Instead, he asked us to drive back to the restaurant with our food (we are 15 mins away) and they will make us a new dish without sesame seeds to bring home. We were pissed to say the least. At this point, we had so much of our evening dealing with this, we weren't going to drive back there only to wait who knows how long on a busy Friday while they fix our meal. This was their mistake from the beginning, there was no acknowledgement of error, no apologies, no offer to make anything right. Just bad business all around. We have ordered a couple of times from this restaurant for in-person pickup. Their teriyaki bento boxes have better vegetables than the other Japanese restaurants nearby. The others mostly have 1 piece of broccoli and 1 piece of carrot with lots of cooked white onions. We like their mango with shrimp dish, but it is spicy hot not sweet/sour like I was expecting. The Naruto roll was fishy and the age dashi tofu fell apart while eating. Stopped in for the first time after having had take out earlier this year. Modest interior with mostly booth seating. Friendly, attentive service. The food was, unfortunately, less than stellar. The salmon teriyaki was slathered with teriyaki sauce, so much so that it made the protein almost inedible. Saucing is a concern - the ginger salad that comes as a side was similarly 'over-sauced' with the ginger caked over the lettuce. General Tso's chicken was somehow stale. An order of crab rolls were ok, but something much like what you would get at Shoprite. The massaman curry left a few tummies aching the next day. We would love to have this relatively new spot be a go-to; it's just not in the cards unless they up their game on the food. read more
