I was so excited when I discovered this place right down the street! As a coffee shop, it was wonderful, and the events they host look really cool, though I have yet to attend one. My only reservation lay in the fact that on my first visit the woman behind the counter seemed flustered when I asked for a recommendation. I love taking recommendations from people wherever I go and especially at coffee shops because there is always something different to try. Maybe she was new or in the middle of something but she was taken aback when I asked her to recommend a drink and she told me to just get a cappuccino or latte, which I did, and it was very good. So maybe that was what she liked. I will definitely be going back to try different things, especially for an art show or concert, I'm excited they have beer and wine and are open later!

i really wanted to like this place because it's in a cool building and close to my place. i got a sandwich for lunch, which was kinda average. and the tables are small and not very stable. the staff talked to each other way too loud, and it didn't help that they didn't put on good music. i moved to the couch and found that the staff put their stuff all over (they were trying to put some new paintings on the wall). i know it's a low time of the day, but it doesn't mean that they can be skimpy on their service. but overall it's pleasant enough to hang out in there. the wifi was quite reliable. i'm willing to give them another chance. it might have been their off day...

I love the armory and the Cafe, There is always something cool going on at the cafe. You can catch some live music or even a live podcast getting recorded. They have great coffee, food and Beer. I like a cafe that I can go and get a Guinness at.

Very nice indoor cafe. It's a nice place to go with friends and play board games. They have a ton of them.

Only had the soup (apple butternut squash). Took them 20 minutes to serve it and it was watery with little taste.

I haven't seen really good Italian since I left Boston. And I miss it, especially having lived in the north end for the last 20+ years before I left and GrowingUpItalian. Oh, I can cook it, but you can't find the products that you can easily find back home. The person from this place I communicated with is so personable. If their food is half is good it's a definite winner.

They're definitely more heavy handed on the sauce, so request light dressing or have it on the side if you're not lots of dressing. I also found the cutlets to be pretty sparse and dry, and the bread was just not good in texture or flavor. Service was fine, it took 20 mins to come out which was longer than I expected, and the space is small but has some seating. I might sound old, but the music was very loud and abrasive, so I didn't finish the other half of the sandwich and left. For $15 it wasn't my kinda sandwich so I probably won't be back.

Sizable fingers, but this style I call tenders, and tender they were. Crisp, but delicate, very much like fried clams, and the chicken underneath was tender and very moist. Good stuff with or without the dipping sauce. - Sauces: The honey mustard was smooth, slippery, sweet, and tangy. Very enjoyable. I also liked their Buffalo (more like straight Frank's) and Boom sauce (ranch with seasonings). - Fries: Very solid. Not sure if hand cut, but if they were frozen, they were unusually good. Lots of long pieces, and they tasted potatoey, not like industrial starch. - Coleslaw: Little to no vinegar, predominantly if not entirely mayo, but a thinned-down mayo, so not too heavy. Very crisp thin-cut cabbage, most likely in a mandolin. Enjoyable. Service: Very friendly.

Service is fast and they do have a couple counter seats but it feels more like a take out place. Four stars for the chicken tenders, not sure I'd try the other items.

Right near Harvard cafe this is a very spacious cafe with lots of space to sit / work. They also have free wifi. I was here on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed! From students to uncles having business meetings (iykyk). I really was expecting for them to have some type of chai (Yemeni or some sort). But the only chai they had was Egyptian black tea or chai latte. I settled for a chai latte with coconut milk which came to around $6. This price is on par with the cafes in the area. The chai was very sweet and had a strong spice taste which tasted like it was made from a syrup. Not the best cup of tea. Their menu has a lot of items.

It felt a bit perfunctory. Almond Croissant: I didn't expect it to have a sugary filling inside! A light cinnamon flavor, not too dry, not bad. Chocolate Croissant: A simple and straightforward croissant with a chocolate stick inside. Using dark chocolate prevented it from being too sweet, which is a plus. Plain Croissant: Surprisingly, it was still delicious even after being refrigerated for two days. The bread was very soft and had a subtle peppery aroma.
