Food is decent, service always nice but the place is loud. What can I say, it's a family sports bar!

Roosters will be my favorite wing place until the day I die! They have gotten way too expensive though.

This was a great suggestion to us for our road trip. I just so happened to be attached to the hotel we were staying at- HUGE BONUS! We were really happy we didn't have to drive anywhere, so if you are staying at the Red Roof Inn off the 70 in Grand Junction, you should try out some wings! The atmosphere is very much a wings and beer joint, so it is relaxed, with plenty of bar spaces and some comfy booths. The staff was very nice and happy to answer any questions we had. The beer was cold and the wings were hot! Loved both. The wings are very unique, in that you can tell the sauces are all homemade. The wings are a bit on the smaller side, but honestly, they were so good, I don't think that even mattered. We tried 3 different kinds. 2 sets of traditional style wings (Hot -13, and Sunami-18), and one set of boneless (garlic Parmesan-5). We also tried out the fries- which were so fresh and had a great unique seasoning. Must try!! If you like wings and beer, you have to stop here! :) Great job Roosters! read more

Not very many wing options in town and I hate BWW so Roosters gets our business by default. The wings and sauces are decent but the beer battered fries need to go as they are not good. It always seems so chaotic and unorganized when we go. There is no hostess so you always end up sitting at a dirty table for 10 min before a sever cleans the table and then another 15 before they come back to get a drink order. Ticket times for us has usually been at least 30 min for 3 of us getting wings and we haven't always been lucky enough to get checked on after our food is dropped off. Bathrooms are pretty gross and the floor to the bathrooms are so slippery with grease that there is no way it's that bad from just the day. We've sat at the bar and have sat at a table near the bar and the conversations heard from the staff have been pretty crude and personal. Watching how they clear and bus tables I have to question how clean and sanitary the baskets are since they stack them on top of each other. For 3 of us with a couple of beers our tab has been around $90. read more

Little restaurant pretty much connected to a hotel. Average entry is around 12$ Average app is around 9$ There known for there wings and have a plentiful amount of sauces. They have good priced specials and shots of liquor for 2.50$ "bartenders choice" We had Erin B. Take care of us and she was very friendly and attentive. The other servers seemed just as reliable. Green chili is amazing! Ten out of ten recommend. Burger is under rated, wing flavors are the best in town.

My wife and I ate here on 6/7/22 at 7pm. It was not busy yet service was still marginal. I had the chicken fingers which were $17 for 7. The fingers were over done and swimming in hot sauce. My wife's burger was over cooked and the bun literally dissolved half way thru..40 dollars for a poorly prepared burger and fingers...my impression was this place doesn't care.....I won't be back... read more

My friends and I came in and asked if we could sit in the patio and the server said sure in a very rude manner. Once we were at our table she came and any question we asked she had an attitude while answering. I was very upset because no matter what we said she had an attitude with us. I also ordered a lemonade and reminded her again and never got it. I went to the bathroom and I heard her talking shit about us. For the first 45 minutes we had no silverware or napkins. I'm a server and I was with 2 other servers and we always tip well but this was one time I couldn't tip 20% because she was so rude to us the entire time we there. I came in on Sunday afternoon with my daughter, sat down and two other parties came in after and were waited on before us. I finally went up to the bar and had several staff act like I was non-existent. Poor service, the place wasn't busy. Finally, got our order in and made it as small as possible so we could move on to a different spot. Would not recommend. read more

Good service with great wings. If you're in the Grand Junction area and get a craving for wings, check this place out. They are way better than that chain wing restaurant with a buffalo as it's logo. Price is better, too. Big variety of sauce flavors they put on their wings, rubs as well. They have a variety of other offerings as well, and their sides are yummy. Great food for a good price. My husband and I went here last night for the first time. He ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and a salad. I ordered 4 chicken wings with honey bbq. I guess I shouldn't expect it to be like Buffalo Wild Wings. The 4 wings I received were about as small as my thumb! No exaggeration there folks. I probably had about 5 bites of the wings and that was it. My husbands burger was just ok. Bun turned soggy but that was ok. Potato salad he got had way too much mustard in it. I will say, the little blonde waitress we had was AWESOME! She was attentive, nice, came back to check on us, etc., great waitress! But as far as going back, nah. read more

Stopped in here while driving through Grand Junction. We were looking for a place for dinner that wasn't fast food and give us an excuse to get out of the car and stretch our legs a bit. This location is super easy to find from the highway... its right next door to TA gas station and just down the road from a Pilot and Love's. Its super convenient to gas up the car and get some food. The food itself was delicious and filling - wide variety of sauces and options. We got salads, fries, baked beans, boneless wings, coleslaw, and chicken tenders. All of it came out piping out and hit the spot in terms of cravings. Portions were generous and we definitely didn't leave hungry. Waitstaff was also awesome. Our waitress (forgot her name, smaller girl) was super friendly and welcoming. Our drinks stayed full and we felt comfortable. Definitely would recommend for anyone - especially those trekking I-70 as a solid place to stop for a break and delicious grub. read more

Just wanted a beer and some appetizers. Should have gone some place else for food. Chicken tenders had been over fried close to being burnt, Sauce was ok. Hub had wings really greasy. So this is a split review. To start, the wings are absolutely incredible! I've never been a big fan of wings, but I a huge fan of these. Crispy and juicy at the same time. And there are tons of sauce choices. You can get a wing combo fort a great price which comes with wings and 2 sides. It's such a great deal. 5 stars for the food quality and the value. Now, the service is another story. I don't know if this is how all the servers are but I came in during lunch time. There were probably 4 or 5 other tables in the whole place. Server got out drinks and took our order. The place had emptied out by the time our food came. I didn't see the server again for 45 minutes... Needed another drink and wanted to order another side of fries but couldn't because she was no where to be found. It definitely but a damper on the great work the chefs did. read more

I have always been a huge fan of the Roosters on Grand Ave and, I am pleased to say, after trying this new place, it is equally as awesome! Excellent food and service with a really cool atmosphere! We were staying at the motel next door and decided to try this place since it was convenient. I have to be honest that I didn't expect much given that restaurants attached to motels aren't generally known to be all that exciting. Boy was I wrong. This place is a hidden gem. Their ranch and blue cheese are homemade and the ranch is yummy! The sauces are delicious and available for sale. The wings are served very wet which I love. Fries are beer battered and crispy. The potato salad was amazing but is very mustardy so if you don't like that (we do!) you may want to skip it. Definitely on the list of places to eat when we are in town! read more

Eaten at roosters many times before, usually pretty darn good. We wanted to eat at home so we ordered wings to go. We got 30 wings, 2 flavors. Showed up right when they said to get them(15min), took them right home. They were ice cold, not even luke warm and there were only 3-5 wings in each container that had sauce on them... The rest were just plain wings :( so we used our own BBQ sauce. Total let down considering we also had to scounge the $$ to even buy them that night. Waste of money and time. read more

I had hope and gave this new location two chances. I really wanted this location to succeed. Really slow service, dull food, and over priced. Found several hairs in my side of coleslaw, beer was warm, witnessed several orders come out wrong with surrounding tables, boneless wings were usually small and soggy. My boneless wings were about the size of a quarter. Sides are over seasoned. They really need to figure things out quickly if they want to survive given their new location. Love Roosters!!!! This is my weekly spot & I just cannot help myself. I have been going here for years and it has not disappointed. Service is great busy or slow. The management is amazing. It is a small business that cares for those who come in to their establishment every single time. Time and time again regardless of whether I choose to go to the long time 1st & Grand location or I decide to venture to the West location on Highway 6 & 50 I am never disappointed. Always greeted with a friendly face and almost always with my usual order Roosters is on point. I cannot count the times I am asked by management how things are and how my night is going because YES they genuinely care ... how many times has anyone in management in any other restaurant EVER asked you that!! I can ask tell you that the food is always consistently awesome which is what keeps me coming back. I am moving to Basalt soon and these WINGS & fries and funnel fries will be missed. I will make the drive back for them!! read more
