    Cinnamon Bun & Hot Chai
    Me M.

Really cute & cozy coffee shop. Service was good but keep in mind it gets very busy on a Saturday afternoon. The Pesto Breakfast Sandwich was very good, super unique and delicious on the herb and cheese biscuit. Sadly, forgot to take a photo. However, felt that it lacked in the bakery section. Unfortunately the cinnamon bun was kind of stale and not heated up enough at all. I would also not recommend the hot chai, overall flavor was not good. However, I would be willing to give a different drink and baked good another try.

Breakfast Sausage Burrito and large coffee only $19 - this easily costs $25 in CA! Delicious, hot, fresh black bean, grilled potatoes, cheese, and excellent sausage, with sour cream and salsa verde on the side. Fast, friendly service, great study place, lots of space, big tables and small for solo or group study. The pastries look gooood, especially the frosted cinnamon Roll. I'll be back!

Great coffee shop! I loved my French Toast Latte and enjoyed the ambiance of the place. This is a great shop to meet up with friends, play games, get some work done, or just to hang out and read. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive! I'd definitely recommend.

Yummy, fast and cute and quiet place for a pick me up between classes. Got a few of the pastries and a coffee. They were pretty fast on the coffee and bets the Starbucks on campus. Takes the same amount of time to walk down as it is to wait just to order SB on campus. Everyone is super nice and patient while you make your choice too!

Thank you YELP community!!! Some of the reviews that were done on other sites led us in bad directions so I went back to my trusty yelp! Glad we found this place. Pullman is one of the friendliest towns I've ever been in. I could not believe how the locals are friendly and everyone at the school is friendly, but that's not about this place the food here: fantastic. Huevos Rancheros the peach tea was excellent and the croissants! Their coffee (black alone) was exceptional. 5-stars

Chicken breakfast bake and breakfast sandwich

Delicious! We got the breakfast sandwich, chicken breakfast bake, and banana bread. Everything was excellent! Very cute cafe and friendly staff.

I'm staying next door at the Hotel McCoy and I must say, I'm in love with Roost! I have been in Pullman for almost two weeks and have spent a good amount of time at Roost for a place to open my laptop and enjoy a beverage and/or meal. The wifi is great for working and there is a variety of seating available, plenty with outlets. I love the breve almond latte and loooooooove the butterfly pea flower tea - I have had it hot and iced and it's so beautiful, with a slightly floral yet nutty flavor. I'm obsessed with it. Plus - it doesn't turn your mouth or teeth blue. The avocado toast is a perfect light meal or snack - they nailed the bread:avocado ratio. And just today I had the veggie breakfast burrito - stuffed with eggs, black beans, peppers, onions and mushrooms - so hearty and the mild green salsa was great, I just wanted more. I stuffed my face with it three hours ago and I'm still so full. A warning - this was my first time going on a Saturday and it was crazy busy. I went twice - once in the morning for a latte, and then a few hours later for lunch. I was able to get a table both times. The crowd seemed to move fast and it seems most people got a table before their food came out. It will be great when the patio opens. The staff is always nice and even when there is a long line, the workers move fast and I never sense any frustration. When I went in the morning, the bakery case was chock full and then when I went for lunch, it was sparse. This place has got it going on! I leave in a few days, but when I come back in a few months, Roost will continue to be my go-to spot.

The absolute best Always a great atmosphere for studying, the friendliest staff and lots of regulars that are a testament to their great food, drinks, and staff. Their excellent cappuccinos kept me awake through a semester of studying! Also their scones are amazing. Always new flavors, and I haven't tried one I didn't like!

This is the salad you get, looks like rabbit food. The sandwhich size is about the size of a hawain roll and costs 20 dollars.

This place is still working on rations, the serving size is that for an infant. The salad is rabbit food.

Wonderdul and inviting coffee house. I was just going to get my order to go, but it was so much fun I. here I had to stay and people watch. Acacado toast is great, coffee is perfect and chicolate chip salted cookie so amazing!

    Breakfast Burrito with Sausage.

If you're looking for a hopping place to nestle in and roost for awhile, Roost Coffee & Market is the place to be! The coffee is on-point and flavored with house made syrups. And if you're feeling peckish, the breakfast fare is hearty and delicious. We had the breakfast burrito with sausage and if you're dining in, there is a mountain of hot sauces to choose from. A friendly reminder - the early bird gets the worm and Roost is no exception. Plan ahead for a long line in the mornings, especially Sundays since there is a church in the same building and congregants like to stop in for a cup of Joe to warm the soul. Highly recommended!

Nice place to grab an espresso and breakfast sandwich before the long drive from Pullman. Also has gluten free bread.

I'm not normally here at nights, but I think they're open until 5 Tuesday and Wednesday and then 9 the rest of the days. There are so many good things to say about this place, I'll try to keep it short (no promises): Having been coming here daily for a year, I've had the pleasure of watching the place and the staff grow. They had a couple of things going on when I first started coming here, but they've really branched out. Trivia on Fridays, WSU football games are live streamed. Open mic on Saturday nights, there's usually live music on Saturday mornings. Bingo on Thursdays just started. The owner supports local everything, including artists, authors, and musicians. There's a whole shelf full of board games and crafting supplies as soon as you walk through the door, so there have been multiple times I've been here with my kids playing board games and I've seen others do the same. The best part: Pet friendly. Beyond pet friendly. They sell puppy birthday cakes, kongs, pup cups, and quite few other dog related treats. There are multiple dogs that just hang out in the front with their owners, but there is a nice area in the back complete with booths and a barrier to allow friendly dogs to be off leash. Coffee and human food are amazing. Staff is lovely, supportive, and just overall amazing. This will forever be my home coffee shop as long as I'm in Pullman.

Rather than apologize, she continues to blame the person who was attacked…read more When I called, I was asked whether we were a family who had come in that day. I was not asked whether we were the family who had yelled at or screamed at staff. Those are very different questions. Of course I said yes, because my wife and son had in fact come in that day. That misunderstanding is exactly the problem. Before you had the facts, you treated me as though I was calling to defend abusive behavior. We were not that family. My wife and son did not yell, did not cause a scene, and did not refuse to comply. My son adjusted his mask. You continue to frame this as though standing by your employee and acknowledging our experience are mutually exclusive. They are not. You could have supported your staff while also recognizing that a customer who did nothing wrong felt spoken to curtly and then felt wrongly accused on the phone. Instead, your response is still centered on justifying the accusation rather than acknowledging how your assumptions escalated the situation. I was only there for the phone call, and I know how that conversation began. That part is not in dispute for me. The larger issue is simple: we were not the family that mistreated your staff, yet we were handled as though we were. That is why this left such a bad impression. Nothing in your response changes that. I believe local businesses deserve support, and I also believe customers deserve to be treated with fairness, dignity, and enough care that assumptions are not made before the facts are known. That did not happen here.

I usually stop by for gluten free & vegan cookies (or other treats) for my husband, but sometimes I also get a drink or a treat for me. I tend to avoid the hot drinks because they seem too sweet for me (it's a college town and this isn't the only place I've run into this...) but I've enjoyed some cold drinks. Last year I also started getting our birthday cake from SB because they can accommodate the husband's allergies. It's just one cake because the smallest cake is pretty big and our birthdays are basically on the same day (if thinking about birth place time zones). I've already ordered this year's cake and am looking forward to getting photos when I pick it up. Bonus: The cafe is small but very cute. I've been so happy to see that more people have been hanging out in the cafe lately.
